This little kit is an amazing idea. It is most of the NYX products used by industry professionals, all in one compact place, and for a good price. I purchased this at my local Ulta on sale for $12.99 (originally $24.99) so move fast! This is also a nice little kit to purchase if you aren’t too familiar with NYX products. Let’s get into the review!
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee
This gloss is a cult classic. It smells great, feels great, and last a surprisingly long time. The sheerness of the gloss is very true to the swatch. A sheer wash of nude pink on the lips.

NYX Blush and Contour Duo
This is another beautiful product. Sadly, the contour is a bit too warm for my winter skin tone. But, it’ll be great this summer! This blush is great on my current light skin tone, it left a “winter wind kissed” flush. This is a very pigmented product though, so be careful! On the up side of that, not that pigmentation is a down side, both blush and contour are very smooth and very blend able.

NYX High Definition Pressed Finishing Powder
Another great product from NYX. There is a reason these products are used by professionals! The powder is so smooth, with that comes extra powdery product, so be sure to blend! There is a lose and pressed version of this powder, I love both! I am sure you have heard of this product though, as many people swear it is a dupe for Makeup Forever’s HD finishing powder.

I, personally, think this product if very neat. It seems like it would be just like Vaseline or Smith’s Rose bud Salve, but it is not. The difference is that those products contain petroleum, this makes the place that the product is used feel moisturized for a little bit, but it is really drying the skin out more. (have to but more because you use more). The NYX All Over Balm contains essential oils, such as argon oil, so it is truly moisturizing. Using this product just a few times has already made an improvement on my very dry cuticles and chapped lips.

I much prefer this liquid highlight to the high end ones. It gives a nice glow without being too much, and it’s drugstore priced! In the swatch I used more than needed, just to really pull through the luminosity of the product.
Price: $14.00 at nyxcosmetics.com http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/born-to-glow-illuminating-primer/NYX_227.html?cgid=primerNYX Pore Filler Primer
If you want a dupe for Benefit Cosmetic’s The Porefessional, don’t get Maybelline baby skin, get this! I have pretty large pores on my nose and on my cheeks on either side of the nose. This stuff really did blur them, I was very shocked! It is creamy and didn’t break me out, which is great because I have sensitive skin!
Price: $14.00 – $25.oo (depending on size) at nyxcosmetics.com http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/pore-filler/NYX_068.html?cgid=primerNYX Matte Finishing Spray
I was a little standoffish about this product at first. I have really dry skin, so when makeup is really matte it tends to stick to the dry patches. But, boy did this blow my mind! I love it. It kept my makeup matte all through my work day, did dry my skin out, and it doesn’t have a smell like many setting sprays which is great. (There is also a dewy version)
Price: $8.00 at nyxcosmetics.com http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/makeup-setting-spray/NYX_094.html?cgid=setting-sprayThe look I made using these products, plus other drugstore products. ( ALL DRUGSTORE LOOK).

I’d say that these products work great! Especially the Primer and setting spray! The only thing really gone is the blush and the blush and butter gloss; which does not surprise me at all. Over all I am very happy with this little kit (more so the products.)
