Tartlet Tease: A springy look!

image

( the shades left to right: top; whisper, crush, heartbreaker
Bottom; wink, first kiss, bff)
I really haven’t had much experience with Tarte eye shadows. I do love many of their other products. So, I decided to try just a few of the shadows instead of buying a huge palette. I actually love this little palette. The shadows are pigmented, long wearing, and very easy to work with. I decided to seize this opportunity to play with a product new to my collection, and come up with a some what spring themed look.

For my eye primer I used NYC City proof 24hr base.
I used the shade “whisper” as my transition shade . “first kiss” was my crease shadows, and “bff” was the shade I used to define my outer v and deepen up the crease. I then put “crush” on my lid and lightened up my inner corner and brow bone with “wink”.  This wasn’t as light as I wanted it, so I brought in the L’oreal Infallible in ” iced latte” and put it over wink.

For my foundation I used the L’oreal true match Lumi foundation in n1-2. I used the Maybelline age rewind in the shade “brightener ” under my eyes. I then concealed with the Maybelline Fit me concealer in 10 and highlighted with the shade 15. I used the Covergirl Plumpify mascara in black.

I contoured with the MAC blush in “harmony”.

I used NYC ” sunny” as my bronzer, Becca highlighter in “opal”, and the Milani baked blush in ” delizioso pink”.

To bring more touches of spring to the look I went with a pink lip. Which I never do. I used the Rimmel  Exaggerate lip liner in “enchantment”, the ELF matte lip stick in ” dash of pink”, and the Wet n Wild lipgloss in “sinless”.

(In my brows I used L’oreal brow stylist definer in ” brunette “.)

I hope you enjoyed the look!! Any requests???? Let me know!
