*Review* ELF Daily Hydration Moisturizer

indexI am back!!

I really missed being able to blog and read ya’lls blogs everyday! Now that I am able to do so again I am going to finally review a product I have been asked a ton about! The ELF Daily Hydration Moisturizer.

I got this product for $8 on their website, here. I have really been trying to find a great cruelty free face moisturizer, and this product is so far the best one I have found, that is at a decent price. The product itself is great! It is thick, moisturizing, and does not have a bad smell to it.

BUT, the packaging….

While it is so cute, and I love the look of it, I was really unhappy with how it performed. When I saw the pump I was excited. Who doesn’t love a good pump right!? It is easier to use in a rush and is more sanitary. If it works…

For all that is holy I could get nothing to pump out. It was so so frustrating!  I tried everything to get it to work but it would not! I always have  to un screw the pump and just squeeze the product out.

I know this is not the best reason to not want to repurchase a product…but it is why I will not repurchase it. Unless I fall more in love with the product that is. The pure inconvenience of the pump not working though, just makes me want to never touch it again. It really grinds my gears when things don’t work how they are meant to, it makes me feel mislead.

What are your tips to get this to pump!? What is your favorite moisturizer? Help me!!

  1. I think you got a faulty pump! I haven’t had any issues with mine! Make sure you shake the product towards the pump as well since it isn’t a long tube it’s small.

  2. Ahhh I hate faulty pumps. They’re the worst. I’ve actually had that problem with a lot of elf products. Their primer and liquid blush pumps got jammed for me 😦 I recommend the CeraVe moisturizer in the huge bottle w a pump! It’s not cruelty free which sucks but it’s the best I’ve found yet that doesn’t break me out and actually moisturizes my skin!

      1. Would def be willing to pay a couple more dollars for ELF if they decide they need to change their pumps and consider that into price change! Makes a world of a difference
