Hello sweet readers,
Today I bring you a post (finally right?) that is just a little review of the Shea Moisture Face Primer.
If you saw my post where I reviewed the Shea Moisture Foundation, you can check it out here…
then you already know that I am not the biggest fan of their products thus far. But, I decided to try a few more anyway. Every brand has their duds right? I have been on a primer kick lately, so I decided to pick theirs up from Ulta. I got it for $15.99, well that is how much it actually costs I got mine when the brand was on sale.
Packaging:
The tube is made of a thicker plastic with a twist off cap. It is a tan sort of color, it does have a slight translucency to it so you can see how much product you have left. I really like that they put their name on everything in gold with a fancy script. It gives a nice touch. I have zero gripes about the packaging.
Application:
This product is very easy to apply. It feels a lot like a moisturizer. Goes on whit, turns clear when rubbed in. I have really started to enjoy this aspect in some primers, it helps me see where I need more or spots I have missed completely.
Wear and Overall Thoughts:
This product wore much much better than I expected given the foundation. I reminds me a ton of the ELF primer that I reviewed here. I like it enough, but given the similarities I would skip paying $15.99 on the Shea Moisture on and just go with the ELF one for $6. Unless, you really are looking for the green aspect that Shea Moisture offers. You also get more with the Shea Moisture, so that might sway your decision as well.
Will I repurchase this product? No. But, I will continue to use it.
I really hope you enjoyed this review! What primers have you tried recently? Comment below! Want more B&T? Check out this post!
