Y’all, I am so excited!!

I finally got off the wait list for the Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabnet!! It is a monthly subscription that is based off of pop culture. I am just going to put this out there, I am a gigantic nerd. Always have been, always will be. I mean, I come from parents who have themed their christmas tree Star Trek, Star Wars, Kiss, and Harry Potter. I was groomed to be a nerd. Not only am I a nerd, But I am a horror junkie. This also stems from my family, but I don’t use my actual last name for this blog, for some type on anonymity, so I can’t discuss that!

When I heard of this subscription I had to have it, but I had to wait a few months. Not too long ago I got an email that I was off the wait list, and I jumped on the chance to be a part of this. It is also only $13.25 and comes with 4-5 full and sample sized items!

Details on this cabinet:

The theme for this month is “Death is Becoming”. It is based on the dark comedy, “Death Becomes Her”. I have never seen this movie, but I am going to watch it tomorrow during my day off to see what it is all about. It includes 3 shadows and a lip product. It also says that next months box is going to be special, I hope so because October is my favorite time of year!!

What’s Inside?:

Included in the cute purple mailer is the card explaining the theme and product. This includeds the ingredients, if they are vegan, and if they are lip safe. There was also a piece of gum, which is actually my favorite type of bubble gum, so we are off to a good start.

Changeling Top Coat “Touch of Magic: This product is brand new and a VC exclusive, which I think is really neat that we get to get stuff others can’t just buy on the site. This is meant to be put on top of lip products to transform the shade. It is violet with a blue shift. It is said to work best with matte lip products.

The top swatch is “Touch of Magic” alone, and the bottom is it on top of Colour Pop “Lumiere”. Isn’t it pretty? I can’t wait to use it on my lips. It does say on the packaging to shake well before use. The product is watery, so I recommend waiting to apply it over another product once the product has dried down matte. This product is not vegan.

3 Loose Shadows:

I also received 3 loose shadows. All in little jars, with the theme printed on a sticker stuck on  the lid. They also have the name, ingredients, and what VC it came in printed on a sticker on the bottom. All three shadows are vegan.

vc3

“Spray Paint”, “Why am I in the Morgue?” (lip safe), “Forever Young” (Lip safe)

These shades are stunning. And so extremely pigmented! All 3 shades are shimmery. The powders are so finely milled that they almost seem fluffy. I have never felt anything like it, I almost couldn’t feel it when I was sticking my fingers in the product to swatch it. It was kind of nuts.

Overall:

I am really thrilled with this subscription and fully intend to keep it. I can not wait to try the products out and up date you on them!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you tried this brand before? What do you think of this subscription? What is your favorite small brand? Comment below! Want more B&T? Check this out!
