More Glamour Doll Eyes!
I have been loving playing with these pigments, so expect a lot of this sort of post coming up!
On their site you can get 5 random sample jars for $11.88. This was one of the 5 random sample jars I got.
Night sail, is a golden brown base with silver and blue duo chrome. I really think this shade is beautiful, and much different than any other shades I have.
When applying this pigment, it is better to tap the pigment on to the lids rather than sweep it. Keep in mind that there is a lot of fallout, and with this shade there is a lot of glitter.
The Look:
- I started off by priming my lids with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
- I then used the shade “Latte”, from the Lorac Pro Matte palette, to act as a transition in my crease.
- After that, I patted “Night Sail” all over my lid.
- I did a little blending with the shade “Latte”
- To deepen up my crease a bit I used the shade “Corduroy”, from the same palette.I also took this on my lower lash line.
- To blend out any sharp edges I used the shade “Bare” from, you guessed it, that same Lorac palette.
- To highlight my inner corner I used the shade “Linen”, hint hint, from the Lorac palette.
- I used the Kat Von D tattoo liner in “Mad Max Brown” to wing my upper lash line.
- I used the Tartest Lash Paint mascara, on my top and bottom lashes.
Would I buy full-size?
When I run out of this little jar, which I feel like is going to last me ages, I sure will buy the full size! It is a unique shade that can almost act as a warm and a cool toned neutral. It is the perfect lid shade, in my opinion, and I can really see myself reaching for this shade over ones I have in palettes.
