Video Unboxing!

This months theme is Spring Paradise, and at the risk of sounding extremely cheesy, this box was paradise to me!!

vcm1

Jersey Shore Cosmetics My Lash Secret Eyelash Curler $25

This is the bonus tool for this month. When I saw this in the box I was ecstatic! I was going to use Ipsy points to get it, but it sold out by the time I got around to it. I have tried it, and it is amazing! I really like curling my lashes, I think I notice a difference. I know some people do not believe they see one.

vcm2

Han Skin Care Cosmetics “Romance” Eyeshadow $13

I love this shade. It is stunning. You can use it easily alone, or incorporate it in to a look! I think I am going to depot mine.

vcm3.jpg

I am kind of addicted to it.

vcm4

Beauty Without Cruelty Full Volume Mascara “Black” $26

I have been wanting to try this mascara for quite a while, but have never brought my self to purchase it. I am really excited to try this and will update y’all once I actually get around to using it. But, I am super pumped to finally have it!

vcm5

Elate Cosmetics Moisturizing Lip Gloss “Divine” $19

This is the product this month that you got to select your shade. I went for a peachy coral shade, and I love it. It is beautiful over peachy nude lipsticks and on its own. I actually really enjoy this formula. It is not too sticky, but it lasts quite a while.

vc m6

I will have an individual post on this gloss.

vcn7

Manna Kadar Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlight Duo $21

The last product is the only one I am a little iffy about. The shape and size of the pans makes it hard to accurately get a brush in it. To me it is just a hassle. The shades are quite nice though.

vcm8

There is no way the bronzer will work on my fair skin, but I bet it is going to make a beautiful shadow. The highlight on the other had is a fantastic shade for me. I have used it, though it took great patience, and it looked fabulous. I may or may not do a review on this as well!

That is all for the spring box! What did you get in yours? Have you tried any of these products, what did you think? Comment below!

Kani Botanical Beauty Galaxy Milk | Organic Makeup Review

pvm1

The more Petit Vour boxes I get, the more I am falling in love with organic beauty products. The Kani Botanicals Galaxy Milk Illuminating Beauty Oil, is no exception.

The shade is stunning, and is the ideal high light for the coming summer months. I usually do not reach for cream or liquid highlights, but man, this stuff blew my mind.

pvm2

The little card, which has some really intense Glossier vibes to it, gives you a lot of information about the product.

Read full ingredients and product info here!!

Not only can this product be used as a highlight, but it can be used under or mixed with foundation to give you skin a glowy look.

The only down side to this product is the scent. It has, what to me, is a very faint scent of cucumber melon- but off. However, the scent does not linger. The beautiful, lit from within, glow that it gives is enough for me to ignore the scent anyway.

galaxy milk.jpg

I mean come on! It looks like star dust! Or the rays from the sun! I can not stop reach for this little vile of highlight, and it takes the smallest amount to get a magical glow. The full size retails for $32, and I can really see myself splurging on it, if I ever get through this sample that is!

I hope you enjoyed this little review, thank you so much for reading! Have you tried this product, what did you think? What is your favorite cream or liquid highlight? Comment below!

Real Her Liquid Lipstick and Lip Liner Review | Boxy Charm March 2017

bccc4

If you read my last Boxy Charm post, here, then you already have heard a little bit about these products. Today we are going to get a little more in depth.

Real Her is a natural and cruelty free cosmetic company, that I have recently been introduced to through past Boxy Charms.

bccc5

The Liquid Lip in “I will succeed” and the line in “I am unstoppable”, are both stunning peachy nude shades. Perfect for spring. For this review we are going to start with the liquid lipstick.

From the Site:

Lightweight formula glides onto lips leaving super intense color with a bold, ultra matte finish. Long wearing and completely kiss proof. Bomb formulation helps to combat dryness and nourish your lips during wear.  “

I am sad to say, that I disagree completely with this statement. I found the formula to be patchy. It never dried down completely, and it was very tacky. Not only was it tacky, but I noticed that it would also transfer back and forth between my lips. It was unfortunately, the worst liquid lipstick I have ever used. I will be passing this on. Maybe a friend will some how enjoy it.

Lip Liner in “I am unstoppable”.

From the site:

Premium formula glides on smoothly, Long-lasting wear that does not feather or bleed, Certified Cruelty Free;  Paraben Free, Infused with Jojoba Seed Oil and Shea Butter, Works perfectly with any RealHer lipstick or liquid lipstick.”

On a lighter note. I am in love with this lipliner and will be purchasing more! It glides on so smoothly and last so long. When I layer it under other peachy nudes, I really do notice it making the lipstick last longer!

realher

In this photo you can see the stunning shade. But, you can not see how badly it wore. I really wish you could though!

Overall, HATE the liquid lip LOVE the lip liner!

I hope you enjoyed this little review, thank you for reading! Have you tried these products? What did you think? Comment below!

March Vanishing Cabinet Part 2 | The Look.

nmvcm

If you read, this post, then you have already seen these products!

Video mate!!

nmvc2

nmvcm1

I have decided to start doing looks each month using all the products that are included in the vanishing cabinet.

apartofthestory1

As a companion to these shades, the crease and blending shades, I used the ELF Mad for Matte palette.

For primer I used the Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

The liner I used was the Too Faced Sketch Marker in “black. The mascara I used is a sample from Lancome that I am trying to get through.

  • I applied the shade “Great Warrior” all over my lid. I made sure to pat this on and NOT swipe it.
  • On the outer third of my eye, and on the lower lash line, I used “Swamp of Sadness”. I really like how different this shadow looks depending on what other shadows you pair it with. It really is stunning.
  • I blended everything, and transitioned with, the lightest brown shade in the Mad for Matte palette.
  • To deepen my crease I used the warm brown shade from the palette as well.
  • In my inner corner I used the shade “Luck Dragon”. It has a beautiful blue/violet shift.

apartofthestory

I am in love with how this look turned out. I am also in love with how “Moon Child” looks on my lips!

I hope you enjoyed this look, thank you for reading! What are your favorites from Notoriously Morbid? Comment below!

Petit Vour UN-Boxing | March 2017

pvm

*Petit Vour is a cruelty free and vegan beauty subscription, retails for $15 a month*

Let’s see what is inside this months box.

Unboxing video!

Kani Botanicals Galaxy Milk Illuminating Beauty Oil $16

This highlight is meant to give the skin a subtle glow, while also blurring fine lines and wrinkles. It isn’t very often that I use a highlighter in this format, but I think I will give it a try. It looks stunning, and it has some big claims.

Metta Intensive Replenishing Face Balm $12.50

pvm3

“A deeply hydrating vegan balm formulated with rare East African shea butter, cold-pressed oils and botanical ingredients…”

I have heard a lot about face balms recently, and have been very intrigued by them. This will be the first one I have tried, so keep your eyes peeled for an update.

Little Barn Apothecary Blue Yarrow + Geranium Cleansing Oil $8

pvm4

I am not one to turn down a facial oil, especially when it is formulated with pure plant ingredients. This oil is meant to dissolve makeup and impurities deep within pores, while toning the skin!

Formulary 55 Rosehip & Cla Facial Mask $8

pvm5

This pink clay facial mask is meant to draw out impurities, without over drying the skin. Sounds great to me. I have tried body scrubs from this brand and I love them, so I have high expectations for this.

That is all that is in the box! I would say it is very worth the price you pay for it. Have you tried any of these products, what did you think? Comment below!!

Boxy Charm Un-Boxing | March 2017

bccc

Update video!

Sorry it is a little late! I am yet again sick, so finding the motivation to do things is hard.

This months Box Charm is themed “Creepy Cute”. I really like this theme, I am  keeping this card, it is too cute to toss! I kind of like that it is something creepy themed, in March. Creepy does not have to live in October people!

bccc1

Smash Box Photo Finish Primer $16:

The first thing is this travel size of the Smash Box Photo Finish primer. I like this primer, and have used up full sizes before. I no longer purchase from Smash Box though, so I have not had it in a while. I am for sure going to be using this, unless a friend sees it and decides they want it first. I have plenty of primers by companies with cruelty free parent companies.

Crown Brush SS023 Jumbo Kabuki Fan Brush $18.99

When I first opened the box, I thought I would never use this brush. But, I love it! It works perfect for highlighting and for kicking off bake and extra powder. I have used it almost everyday since I got it.

bccc2

Naked Cosmetics Urban Rustic Palette $39.99

I thought Naked Cosmetics only made crazy expensive pigments, apparently they make really expensive trios as well. In all actuality, the quality of these shadows are amazing. I do not see myself wearing them alone, the three together, but I do see myself reaching for this as a little accent palette.

bccc3

Ignore my nails please, I am the worst at keeping them maintained.

The shades swatch amazingly, I am very excited to use them!

bccc4

RealHer LadyLove Matte Liquid Lip Stick $15

The shade I got is “I Will Succeed”. It is a peachy nude shade, which is stunning. I have a separate post coming up shortly on this product so I am not going to say much. Keep your eyes peeled if you are interested in my thoughts on this and the next product!

RealHer Expert Advice Lip Liner $12.50

I received the shade “I am UN-Stoppable”. It is also a peachy nude, like the liquid lip, but a little darker. As I said above, I am going to have a post coming up soon with this in it, so I will save my thoughts for that!

bccc5

That is it for this months box. Way worth the $20ish it costs! What did you get this months? Tried any of these products, what did you think? Comment below!

Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet | March 2017

nmvcm

This months Vanishing Cabinet was themed “Apart of the Story”. Which, is based off of the movie and book, “A Never Ending Story”. Let’s get into what’s inside, because if we don’t hop to it, I know I will ramble on about the movie!

Mystic Matte Liquid Lipstick “Moon Child”

nmvcm1

I think this shade is going to be really nice for spring. I tend to do brighter eye looks, so a neutral lip is going to really balance everything out. The Notoriously Morbid liquid lipsticks are by far my favorite, by the way.

Shadows “Swamp of Sadness”, “Great Warrior”, “Luck Dragon”

nmvc2

I love all of these shades and can not wait to use them all in looks! Coming up, I have decided to use all the products in this months cabinet for one look, so be on the look out!

Pretty happy with everything this month. I hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading! What is your favorite Indie brand? comment below!

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box | March 2017

vcm

*You get 4-7 new beauty products to try each month for around $22 monthly. vegancuts.com *

Video mate!!

This months theme is Beauty in Bloom, and I think the contents really does fit that theme.

Hempz Fresh Coconut and Watermelon Body Moisturizer $7.30 value:

vcm1

I have loved this brand for a long time. I have only ever seen them at Ulta, but they seem to always be on sale! This is a travel size, which is perfect for this time of year. I spend a lot of the summer and spring at the lake, so I always have a little lotion on hand. I do wish this had some sort of SPF in it. At first the watermelon was a little strong for me, but it really does mellow out in to a more fruity coconut scent, which I really enjoy.

Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Shea Butter Lip Balm $3.99 value:

vcm2

Another brand I already love! I had no idea this product even existed, pretty excited that I get to try it. Again, I wish there was some sort of SPF in it. I will be reviewing a lot of skincare type products soon, this will be one of the products!

PlatLife Detox Mineral Bath $5.95 value:

vcm3

I love taking baths. So anytime I get a product like this I am very appreciative. It smells really nice and earthy. It is going to be perfect to relax in after a long day when my muscles are sore.

Modicum Skincare Exfoliant and Cleanser $32 value:

vcm4

I have a serum by this brand that I love, so I have high expectations for these products. I will be updating you on them! I just want to point out how perfect of a travel size the cleanser is. I would not travel with the exfoliant, because I do not trust the cap. But, that is just my opinion.

Londontown Nail Polish “BRILL-ant” $16 value:

vcm5

Some how this products solo shot got deleted, but you can see it some in this group picture. It is a duochrome mauve, that is supposed to be chip resistant. I feel like I have gotten shades very similar to this in other boxes. I am going to try this out, to see how the formula wears, but I am not all that in love with this shade.

There you have it guys, the March VCBB. I  hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading. What do you think of the products in this months box? Comment below!

Ciate London Velvet Liquid Lip “Voodoo” | Product Review

voodoo

It has been quite a while since I have done a post that was an unboxing of some sort. I am slowly starting to get back in my grove, so it seemed right to do a little review.

Lip product sample sizes are of great abundance in my makeup collection, yet they are rarely touched. I figured it was time to try them all and weed out the duds.

we are starting with the Ciate London Liquid Velvet in “Voodoo”.

voodoo1

It is a stunning deep berry shade.

voodoo2.jpg

It looks beautiful right after application, but that does change. I could not get a clear picture, but holy cow does it bleed! With in an hour it had bleed terribly outside my lip line. After 3, the dark shade had flaked on to my chin.

It is a brilliant shade, with much less brilliant wear. This one is going to have to be a pass for me. Time to move it out of my collection!

I hope you enjoyed this little post. Thank you so much for reading. Have you tried the Ciate London liquid velvet’s? What did you think? Comment below!

Ole Henrickson Influenster Vox Box | Product Reviews

Screenshot (16)

If you follow my Instagram, Snap, or YouTube channel; then you have already seen this lovely box.

It is the Ole Henrickson Influenster Vox Box, and boy was it a god send.

It contained the Wash, Toner, and Moisturizer from the Ole Henrickson Balance Oil Controlling line.

This line is meant to be used day or night, and gives your skin a healthy glow. It is powered by the Green Fusion Complex they have made, which contains neem seed oil and AHA’s. The line is supposed to control oil, mattify, and refine pores.

Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser $25:

ole

The cleanser has a very clean scent. It left my skin feeling soft, not dried out, nor itchy. I have very sensitive skin, so I just assume it will react when I try something new. This cleanser was able to clear my skin of impurities and diminish my break outs with out stripping my skin. My favorite way to use it is with a Konjac Sponge.

Balancing Force Oil Control Toner $26:

ole1

I really noticed a difference with this toner. I would use it with a cotton pad, and just swipe it over my clean face. It did not sting, smell offensive, or cause any irritation! My only gripe is that I wish it were in a spray bottle, I have been spoiled by those. I suppose I could transfer it to one, but the bottle is so cute.

Counter Balance Oil Control Hydrator $34:

ole2

I love using this at night. It is calming to my skin, has a thicker gel\cream consistency, and leaves my skin feeling fantastic in the morning.

If you apply it before doing makeup, I suggest you have at least an hour in between. I found that it takes wuite a while to actually skin in to the skin. This is fine at night, not so much when getting ready in the morning. The rest of the line is fantastic day or night!

Overall, I really love this line! I have noticed great improvements in my skin over all. There are not as many random dry spots, and my breaks out have became much more mild than they used to be. I would consider paying the money to purchase this line, when I use up what I have received. The best part though, the brand IS cruelty free!!

I did receive this line for review, but all opinions are my own.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. What are your favorite Ole Henrickson products? Have you tried this line? Comment below!
