Nov. 2017 Beauty Empties | Look at my trash!

I love my Empties bin, so I have to include it in the post. This month seemed to fly by! I have no idea how I went through so much stuff. Let’s jump it to this post, it may be a long one.

Code: Yrp= yes, repurchase

Nrp= would not repurchase

Hair Care

Natur-all Hair Club Avocado Mask: Read my post about this product, Here. YRP

Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures Shampoo: I wish Garnier was CF so I could purchase this shampoo. I loved it. It smelt amazing and made my hair so soft. I have one more in back stock. NRP

Pantene Medium-Thick Strengthening Shampoo: I have no thoughts on this product. I can’t really remember it. NRP

OGX Coconut Curls Shampoo & Conditioner Sample: This Sample was okay. Nothing impressive. Smelled nice. NRP

Aussie 3 Minuet Miracle Travel Size: I really don’t get what all the hype is over this product. It didn’t do anything impressive. Maybe I tried the wrong one? NRP

Juice Organics Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner Travel Size: I used these while in KY. They gave a nice lather, smelled amazing, and made my hair so soft!! YRP

Nexxus City Shield DD CrΓ¨me: I got this from Influenster and it took me ages to get through. I didn’t really notice it doing anything for my hair and the scent wasn’t that great. NRP

Dove Volume and Fullness Dry Shampoo: My Mom didn’t like this so she gave it to me. I found that it left a pretty bad white cast on my hair. NRP

Klorane Dry Shampoo: This is a Travel Size, the full size is really expensive and I don’t think it is worth the price. Drugstore dry shampoos Work just as well. NRP

Body Care

Secret Cool Waterlily Deodorant: No thoughts on this. I don’t like gel deodorant. NRP

Degree Dry Protection Anti-Perspirant: works fine, but I prefer natural deodorant. NRP

Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented Body Wash: This body wash did not irritate my skin. I am pretty sure my brother was using it as well. It was nice. However, it is not CF. NRP

Green Tidings Lavender Deodorant: I found that this Deodorant worked fantastic! It smells nice and was long lasting. YRP

Skin Care

Manefit Lavender Wrinkle & Lifting Mask: I literally remember nothing about this mask. NRP

Masque Bar Soothing Sheet Mask: This Mask was really nice! It felt great on my skin and did not aggravate it in anyway. YRP

Derma-E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub: This stuff is awesome!! It made my face feel really clean and tingly! YRP

Epielle Charcoal Nose Strips: These were $2 and just like the Biore strips. YRP

Fresh Garden Manuka Honey Mask: See my thoughts, Here.

Drunk Elephant B-hydra Intensive Hydration Gel: See my thoughts, Here.

Makeup

Ulta Setting Spray: I love this setting spray. I just stocked up on it actually. YRP.

Wet N Wild Color Icon Brow Pencil “Blonde Moment”: I wanted to love this product, because it is so inexpensive! But, it made my brows look green. NRP

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: I actually think the Ulta one works just as well! I will not be spending money on the full-size. NRP

Fragrance

Mainstays Hazelnut and Cream Candle: I love the Mainstays candles. They are like $5 and huge. This scent was awesome. YRP

Beauticontrol Brown Sugar Lotion: I think my cousin used to sell beauticontrol and that’s how I ended up with it. I did not like this lotion. It has an underlying scent of sunscreen. It was strange. NRP

Juicy Couture: This perfume took me ages to use up. It was a bit too fruity for me. NRP

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black: This is one of my favorite perfumes. I think I am going to splurge on the full-size. YRP

Lady GaGa Fame: I actually love this scent! I can’t find anything about the CF stance though…

Mark HollyWood Pink: Mark is an offset of Avon, who is not CF. I did like this scent though. Oh well. NRP

Oral Care

Sensodyne Deep Clean and Crest Pro-Health: My thoughts on both of these are the same. They are a good toothpaste, but not natural. I prefer natural oral care. NRP

Ipsy Offer | Sunset Monochromatic Collection β˜€οΈ

*This set is no longer available, but there are some pretty neat sets currently available.*

Y’all know I love these Ipsy offers, and I really love sharing them with you. I am a super nosy person so seeing what is in sets other people purchase makes me happy, so I just assume everyone is the same way. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Em Cosmetics Infinite Lip Cloud “Faded Clementine ” $16 FullSize Some how I have never tried an Em product, even though I have been subscribed to Ipsy for a pretty long time. From what I could tell the packaging wasn’t too impressive and the products were about the same. From this lip color I have to disagree. The packaging is beautiful, and I love the shade and the light weight formula.

I can not wait to try it out on my lips and update y’all.

Ofra Blush/eyeshadow “country road”$15 I really love Ofra products. Their pressed powders are always so pigmented.

I am really loving the orange blush trend. By the way, the pigmentation is BOMB.

Pink Pewter eyeshadow “Kua Bay” $3.50 Value I have never heard of this brand before. I have browsed their site though. Everything is very affordably priced and seems to be largely vegan and gluten free.

The pigmentation is great. I think this shade is stunning and pretty unique. Orange with a satin finish. Their shadows come in 3 sizes, I think that’s cool. This one is the small.

Dirty Little Secret Eyeshadow “Teaser” $12 This shadow is the perfect warm toned, matte transition shade. I have never tried a DLS shadow, but so far I am impressed. They have a $38 Palette, I am tempted to pick it up.

The formula is so soft. I think I am going to be reaching for this Single a lot. I need to get another magnetic palette so I can start depotting more shadows!

Nomad Intense Eyeshadow “Cohiba” $7.20 I love bronze shadows. No matter how much I want to try colorful eyeshadows, I always reach for neutrals. My boyfriend has even pointed this out and it’s only been around three months we have been together. Granted we were friends for much longer.🀣 The point of my rambling is, I always welcome a new neutral shadow from a brand I haven’t tried before.

Holy pigmentation! Do y’all see that! That’s one swipe! It’s stunning. I am so excited to try this little angle in a look!

Doucce Freematic Blush “Orange Zen” $14.50 Value I think I am the only Ipsy sub yet to get a product from Doucce, until now anyway.

Like I said, I am digging the orange/coral blushes. I will probably get a ton of use out of this shade. Have any of y’all built a palette or whatever from the freematic system? Let me know, I would love to see it.Pacifica Nail Polish “Desert Princess” $8.99 I am trying to clear out my nail polish collection. I rarely paint my nails, so I am trying to make sure all the polishes I own are clean. This one from Pacifica definitely is. I think this shade will be perfect for the spring and summer!

Guys, for $15 I got products valuing around $77!! Is that not awesome!?

Fresh Garden Manuka Honey Nutrition Mask

For some reason my trip to KY destroyed my skin. I am not sure if it was all the junk food or playing with the animals at the animal shelter. But my skin is MAD.

I just want to say, volunteering at the animal shelter with my family was so much fun, a litter of kittens slept in my arms. I wanted to take all the animals home. Leaving them all behind was so hard. We all got emotional me, my 9 year old sister, my 19 year old brother, his girl friend (who is like another sister to me), and my step mom all cried! I just wanted to share that little story!

Back to the purpose of this post!

I got this sheet mask some how from Ipsy, and I really wanted to see if it would nourish my angry skin back to its, somewhat content self.

This mask is 5 free, there are no..

  • Imidazolidinyl Urea
  • Chlorphenesin
  • Mineral oil
  • Colorant
  • Triethanolamine

It is also 3 layers, which supposedly helps to absorb the “essence” into the skin.

It is made of Manuka Honey and violet flower extract to deeply provide nourishment and a moisturizing effect to even out skin tone.

Initial Thoughts:

The mask itself felt very fibrous. I also thought that it smelt a lot like off brand sprite. Not sure why.

The sheet mask fit my face very nicely. I find it difficult to get sheet mask to fit my face shape. I am not sure what’s wrong with my face shape, besides my disproportionate forehead. I think I have what many call a “five head”.

Here is me with the mask on! Covers really everything it need it to!

Thoughts after use:

The mask left my skin feeling very moisturized and it appeared less dull. I am actually very happy with the results!

HOWEVER, I can’t find anything online about this mask. Not the price, no where to order it, but most importantly I can’t find the brands CF stance.

That being said, would I repurchase? I don’t know, can I ever repurchase it? The lack of information scares me, so I may just pass on repurchasing this mask, even though I was very pleased with it.

Boxy Charm Nov. 2017| Sweater Weather

Hey y’all!

Long time no talk, I ended up not being able to prewrite as many post as I wanted before I went to Kentucky for 5 days. But, when I came back I found the November BC on my bed. I guess I got taken off the wait list and didn’t realize it!

I had already seen what this box contained, so I already knew the contents were going to be great.

Luxie Beauty Quad Travel Set $32

For some reason I didn’t notice that one of the brushes wasn’t included in the picture, but I promise there are 4.

  • 207T
  • 227T
  • 213T
  • 221T

Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray $31

I almost bought this setting spray at the Sephora VIB sale, I have heard some amazing things about it. I am really glad I get to try it out in this months BC. And it’s full size!!

Winky Lux Kitten Palette $25

I am so pumped for this palette that I can barely contain my excitement! The packaging it’s self is so cute! The colors are amazing, the perfect mix of Metallics and mattes.

The only thing the palette is lacking is a mirror!

I am really in love with these shades and cannot wait to use them!

So pigmented and creamy!

Laqa & Co. Cloud Lips “Sun Shower” $17

I have never heard of this brand, so I am pretty interested in trying out this lipstick from them. The formula is creamy and pigmented.

The shade is a pretty red. I am all about red lips in the winter, so I will definitely be giving this product a try. It feels very light weight!

KNC Beauty Collagen Lip Masks $15

There are three in the box. I have never used a lip mask like this before, so I am very intrigued by it. They are meant to hydrate, nourish, and plump your lips. I really hope these work!

This months Box has a $120 Value, all for $21!! I am so excited that I am getting BC again, I missed it so much!

Have you tried any of these products? Comment below!

I Went a Little Crazy |A Beauty Haul

Lately, I have gone a little crazy. I even have a Sephora order that won’t be included in this post. Because I made it ten minutes ago. I was only $40 away from VIB again…

ANYWAY, this is an accumulation of a few different trips to a few different places. Let’s dig in so I can get to playing with all my new goodies!

Ulta

I really love the Ulta setting spray, so I got two of the dewy and one illuminating. The Ulta house brand is CF and always has deals going on! I also picked up a sponge set, the HD Soft Focus Foundation, and Demi Matte Foundation, to try out! I am having trouble finding a foundation I can’t live with out.

Only buying two Morphe palettes at Ulta was hard…I will probably go back for the other three I wanted…

I picked up the 35O and 35F palettes. I have heard great things about these palettes, so I decided to go with them. And a girl told me my makeup was pretty, then said the 35O palette was, “literally bae”. So, it went home with me.

Sephora

The VIB sale was so good to me. πŸ’œ There are a few things I didn’t get, but they are going on my Wishlist, which I may post soon!

I was originally only going to get one ABH palette, but I couldn’t decide. So I got Prism and Subculture. I had also gotten some really good news, technically regarding makeup, that day; so I was just getting whatever struck my fancy!

The Huda Beauty Warm and Mauve Obsession palettes. I thought these cute little palettes swatched better than the big ones. And the lady who was helping me, I was still on crutches with my air cast, was wearing one of them. I went with the two I knew I would use a ton, and I am adding the electric and smoky ones to my wishlist. These cuties are $27 and really good quality. I can’t wait to do some post with them. By the way, the pan size isn’t bad, the palette is just compact!

The Too Faced Melted Latex are on sale for $10. STILL!!!! I picked up three; Hopeless Romantic, I’m Bossy, and Bite Me. I also ordered “Peek a Boo”, it was sold out in store. I’m Bossy is literally the perfect red. This will be my Christmas Lip!

TJ Maxx

Guys, TJ Maxx is killing it lately. I got the KVD shade and light quads in Rust and Smoke. Now I have all four originals! Don’t y’all worry, the Fawn set is on my wish list.

Anyway, I got these for $9.99 each!!!! I also picked up a few Cargo Palettes for $9.99, but those are Christmas gifts for other people. (My moms. They are for my moms. So if either of you are reading this- Don’t snoop!!!)

I also got the Shade and Light contour face brush for $16.99. It is fantastic quality and now I need the eye brush.

Not pictured: A giant bottle of makeup brush cleaner…for $4.99!!

That is it for my new babies!!! What do you want to see looks with?

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box November 2017| Glamours Beauty

This November I am thankful for double makeup items in my VC box! But seriously, I am pre-writing a ton of post. (Including this one). I get to spend time with my son an my family and I would not trade my little man or his adoptive family for the world. He had a baby doll he loves and he pushes it around in a stroller. Future great father in the making. πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œIf you are a birth mother or a child of adoption and need support from someone who understands, please do not hesitate to contact me, no matter what time of day or night!!

Would you like to hear my adoption and NATURAL birth story? Please let me know!

What are you most thankful for this thanksgiving season?

Back to the topic of this post!

This months Box is really nice, I can not want for y’all to see what’s inside. One of my moms watched me open it and was almost more pumped than I was!! ( let me know if you want a tid bit post on my large but amazing family!)

100% Pure Long Lasting Liner “dark cacao” $26 Value

100% Pure could come out with a product that is legit just water and I’d love it. Everything I have ever gotten from them blows me away. I have green eyes, so I more often then not tight line with brow liner.

This one is really creamy and pigmented. I can see myself going through this liner fast, and I WILL repurchase.

Alma Botanicals Luminous Glow Botanical and Clay Mask $22

I keep getting powdered masks and cleansers. I am becoming addicted! This one contains tons of nutrients to help your skin maintain a natural glow. If your skin is anything link mine, a mask like this will come in handy in the winter months.

Olivella Face and Body Bar $5

If you follow my blog, then you know I LOVE bar soap. I use a micellar water on my face, then bar soap, then cleanser. Every night. I haven’t even gotten in the habit of using them on my body now that I have gotten through all of my non- CF bar soaps! This bar is made with 100% olive oil and is suitable for all skin types. Sounds great to me!

Ever Clen Eye Cream $20

I had a toner from this brand that blew my mind. I still need to repurchase it. It was legit the best toner I have ever used!!

Anyway. When I opened this box my mom saw eye cream. This is my Bio Mom and she loves opening packages with me.

She said “this eye cream is mine.” I have gotten like four sent to me in the past few weeks. I can’t tell my birth giver no! I am sure it will be great and I will get her feed back. I know I have some readers in all of my mommas age groups 40-50’s, so I will get her feed back!

Glamour Doll Gloss Snob “Mood Ring” $3

Make item number two! I’ll be honest, as is policy on this blog. Squezzy rube glosses are not my thing. BUT, this shade is really pretty.

I am going to give it a shot, but I can see myself passing it along pretty quickly. It just isn’t convenient to use.

Over all VC is STILL my favorite subscription box!! 🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯 out of 5 tigers. I am still not over last weeks TWD if you get the reference.

Thank you so much for stopping by beautifulsπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’•

Declutter with me | Blush Edition.

Y’all, I am going to be 100% real with you. For some reason I have a weird issue with Blush. I hate buying it. But any Blush I am sent or gifted or happen to purchase I can not get rid of! What if I need peach, or neutral, or pink, or mauve!

Anyway, here I am. Trying to narrow down my collection. Soon I start Beauty school (YAY!!!!!) but for now, a normal human being does not need this much Blush.

Fun fact, like all my Blush is drugstore, I find it is just as good as high-end. So, sit tight and see who survives the Blush apocalypse.

Before

I want to mention that the larger ELF palettes and the bronzers on the right side will not be included in this post, they have post of their own.

AND any product you want a review on, let me know! I would love to focus more on Blush. It can really make a huge difference to any look.

Creams

I have a love hate relationship with Cream blushes. They are versatile, but I hate to remember to not put them over powders, and that throws off my application flow.

  • Pur Cosmetics KEEP
  • Bodisafe lip and cheek. I am addicted to this stuff. KEEP
  • Seraphine Botanicals Guava Butter. The shade is pretty. But, I haven’t even taken it out of the box….Bye Girl.
  • Thrive Causemetics KEEP. I love this brand and this product.
  • Elate “Love”. I did a review of this ages ago, and I still love it. The brand is great and the product is one of my favorite things.for warmer days. Lips and cheeks with this baby, then some mascara and my brows filled in. DONE full makeup look.

Loose

  • Terry Mere Mineral Blush.

I have only one loose Blush now. I used to have some from indie brands, but I never use them. The only reason I am keeping this one is because it makes a great shadow. It also isn’t overly pigmented, so it is quite easy to use as a Blush. It has a bit of shimmer as well so it helps to knock out the high lighter step.

Pressed Powders

  • MAC- Crisp Whites
  • MAC- Rosy Outlook
  • MAC- Harmony

I hate lying, so I refuse to. I LOVE all three of these blushes. But, MAC tests on animals where required by law, so my precious babies have to go. I have someone special to give these to. I am really going to miss having them in my collection. PULL OUT OF CHINA MAC FOR THE LOVE OF MY MAKEUP ADDICTION PLEASE!!!

This is obviously my Ofra Pro palette. I depotted a ton of Benefit products into it. But, this was my first try and I majorly messed up. The pans are glued to my palette. Because of this I am going to use them up. I do not want to give away the magnetic palette:/.

The circular pan is an Ofra shade that I got in an Ipsy bag. For some reason I didn’t write it down, but I love it.

Anyway, the Benefit pans were from a set, so there is not that much product in each. I actually hit pan on the Hula bronzer the day after I took this picture. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

  • Essence Satin Touch- Satin Coral. Thank you Ipsy, I am IN LOVE with this blush. It is perfect for my skin tone.
  • Makeup Geek -XoXo. is my only makeup geek Blush….I have to keep her.
  • Ulta Beauty Nude pink and Fresh Glow. This was a Duo I got for free, but I really love it. The blush is fantastic as is the high light.
  • Jordana- Blushing Rose. I love Jordana and this shade is pretty, but it is pretty dark and I never use it…passing her along.
  • City color Be Matte- Papya. I legit have no clue how I got this blush. But, I love it.
  • Soap and Glory- Apricot Jam. This can be a Blush, a highlight, or a shadow. It’s so pretty and pigmented…I need more shades of this product.

The swatches are in order as they are listed above!! Look at the soap and glory one😍

Milani… I know everyone has heard the praises sung about their blushes, and I have to say… I agree.

  • Luminoso
  • Berry amore
  • Rose D’oro
  • Tea Rose

I am keeping all of them. I frequently use all of them. In fact, I need more of their blushes.

Tarte Amazonian clay blushes are great, we all know this.

  • Paaarty was the Sephora birthday gift for 2017
  • Feisty I just got in an Ipsy bag, and I am really enjoying it!

Wet N’ Wild Color Icon blushes. In my opinion the BEST drug store cruelty free blushes you can get! So in expensive and so fantastic!

  • Rose Champagne
  • Apri-cot in the middle
  • Heather Silk – The first blush I ever used! I have gone through like 4 of these!
  • Berry Shimmer
  • Mellow Wine
  • Princess Daquiries
  • Mai Tai Buy You a Drink

I love every single one of these babies. They are like $3!!!!

ELF contouring blush and bronzers. These hold a special place in my heart. EmilyNoel83 recommended these AGES ago, so I got the one in St.Lucia. Besides Heather Silk it was the only blush I used for years, and the bronzer was my favorite for so long!

  • Turks and Caicos
  • Fiji
  • St. Lucia

I actually use all of these. T&C I use as shadows though.

I didn’t do too well…I only decluttered 5 blushes. 5 was hard enough though! At least I made some progress. Right?

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed the beginning of my Declutter seriesπŸ’œ What is your MUST HAVE Blush?Find me on IG and Snap @manda_janette

Ipsy Nov 2017 | All you

A few nights ago I had a dream that Ipsy started to include product info and prices on their cards. I am here to tell you that dreams don’t always come true and that the card is still pointless.

This bag though, is super cute. I love the blues and the fabric and zipper seem to be of great quality. πŸ‘

Crown Brush C141 Chisel Blush

I love getting brushes in subscriptions. I feel like I can never have enough. This blush brush is very soft. It is quite a bit smaller than the brush I usually use for blush, but I’ll give it a go.

Skyn Iceland Berry Lip Fix

Skyn Iceland is a brand that I am always glad to try. This lip fix is going to come in handy, I get very chapped lips during the colder months. I have used it once so far and love it. The berry taste is not overpowering and it made my lips tingle a little!

ColourPop Ultra Satin “Calypso”

I love the ultra satin formula, so I was really excited to see this in my bag.

The shade is really nice, I will definitely be getting my use out of this liquid lip.

Tarte Blush “Feisty”

I only have one other Tarte blush, even though I love the formula. I was stoked to open my bag and see this little baby wrapped in bubble wrap. Was really hoping for the Lisa Frank bronzer though.

Carl decided to photobomb my swatch photo. I am a bit concerned that this blush will appear too orange on my fair skin, but I think if I use a light hand it will turn out nicely.

Naked Cosmetics “Mother Nature”

I love Shadow pigments. The color pay off is always amazing. Naked makes some pretty great pigments. Their shadow stacks are pretty pricey and use to be all the rage. Always glad to get one of their shadows!

I am in love with this shade. I cannot wait to use it!

That is it for my Ipsy bag! 100% worth the $10 this month. Not a single dud product!

What did you get in your Ipsy bag? Comment below!

Kat Von D Shade&Light β€œPlum” Quad | Look & Review

How is everyone doing tonight? Typing that made me feel like I was opening a concert, when really I’m blogging and watching Bob’s Burgers with my cat, Carl.

If you have been with my for a bit, then you’ll remember that about a year ago I got the KVD quad in “Sage” and did some posts on it. Thanks to them being on sale, I finally got more! They are currently $15, On the KVD site, but I got mine at TJMAXX for $9.99. People are finding them at TJMAXX everywhere!

Tonight, we are going to focus on the “Plum” quad, but I am sure y’all already gathered that for yourselves!

Let’s start with the packaging. Kat knows packaging. I keep all the product boxes and I hate storing the products away. The packaging is insanely sturdy, very aesthetically pleasing, and includes a great mirror. It is a little bulky, but who is seriously putting these quads out of site!? I know I am not.

The quad includes a base, definer, contour, and highlight shade. I REALLY like the base shade. It’s a really nice transition shade for other looks.

I did want to mention that the shadows are awfully powdery. I didn’t find this an issue though, concerning fallout, as long as I remembered to tap my brush off- which is essentially a habit.

I also found that the plum shade was a little patchy and a bit hard to blend.

But, over all the shades are Incredibly pigmented, and I was pretty happy with how my look turned out after working with them for a bit!

Keep in mind I’m not a pro, just an enthusiast!

  • I used the “base” shade as my transition/blending shade.
  • I deepened my crease with the “contour” shade.
  • I made my crease and outer corner even deeper with the “define” shade.
  • I then took the ” highlight” shade on my lid. My eyes are slightly hooded, so I am still trying to really figure out how to work with them the best…
  • For my lower lash line I smudged a plum liner with the “definer” shade, then blended it out with the “contour” shade, then that with the “base”, then finished that off with a skin toned powder to really balance everything out.

My inner corner high light is “Valley Girl” by ColourPop, my liner is the KVD Ink liner in “Trooper” and I am still using the BWC mascara!

Will I pick up more of these quads while they are in the $15-$10 range? Hell yeah! I love KVD! This quad may have been a little difficult to work with, but I am in love with the outcome! 🍐🍐🍐🍐🍐 out of 5 pears, I can’t find a plum emoji. (At least at the price they are now, not the original…which still isn’t too bad considering it’s KVD.)

That’s it guys! Which KVD quad is your favorite? Should I get the “Fawn” set…it has a limited edition quad? Comment below!

ELF Lock on Primer | First Impressions and 8hr Wear Test.

If y’all read my recent ELF haul, if not you can do so Here, then you have seen this product before. You would also know that they have it listed on the ELF site as a foundation glue. Which really sparked my interest!

The product itself appears opalescent when pumped out of the tube. But, does rub down clear after some work. It is extremely tacky and did, in fact, feel like rubbing a thicker glue on my face.

Here is my makeup maybe 30 mins after application, still looking good!

The next few hours we spent the day out shopping and getting dinner. It was chilly out side, but I was hobbling around on crutches, so I got pretty hot.

Four hours after application. Oil is breaking through on my T-zone, but my foundation and concealer itself is still in place. Again, keep in mind I was pretty hot. I went to a few different stores and got somethings do do some up coming posts on!!

Hour 8. I noticed around hour 6 that there was a lot of break down around my nose, on my Cupid’s bow and near my hair line.

By the 8th hour more redness happened to show through on my forehead. I did get a few compliments on my makeup not too longer before We had gotten back in the car and I took this picture. I am guessing by that it didn’t look too bad.

The Primer actually held out pretty well through all my sweating! But, I could definitely feel it on my skin. It stayed tacky all day, it was pretty uncomfortable.

I think this is a good primer if you need to makeup your makeup last through a party or for pictures. But every day…no. It would get so aggravating feeling like there is always a layer of glue on your face!

That being said, I will continue to use it. The Primer continues to stay locked on through sweaty moments like parties, bars, and clubs (St. Louis life can be fun when you are 21!) I may pick it up again.

The comfort ability factor is going to have to take away a point. The fact that it is a bit hard to rub into the skin is also losing it a point.

🐯🐯🐯 out of five tigers.. if you saw Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead then you know why we are using tigers to gauge this product. 😭😭.

If you would like to try out the ELF Lock on Foundation Glue pick it up, Here!

And don’t forget to use the code celebrate for 50% off orders of $30 or more. That can get you a TON on from elf!

Thank you so much for reading! What is your favorite budget Primer?🐯😭🐯
