My elementary school obsession has fused with my adult obsession. LISA FRANK MAKEUP!
So far the Lisa Frank and Glamour Dolls collection contains a Blush Brush, a eye crease brush, a Matte Bronzer, and a gold shimmer shadow.
First, can we just address how cute this packaging is? I can’t handle it! I will definitely be keeping the boxes and products themselves on display!
The Brushes $4.99 Each
The brush’s feel soft and sturdy. But, I am going to be real with y’all as usual. I am NEVER using these. They are just to special. It makes me think of my childhood, and I really can’t bare to mess them up.😂
Bitten and Bronzed Matte Bronzer $4.99
I am so glad that the bronzer in this collection is Matte. I am more likely to use it this way.
This bronzer is very pigmented! It isn’t too warm, so I found that I can easily use it to contour. I also enjoy it on the eyes!
This is the best inexpensive bronzer I have ever used. I mean, even the Butter Bronzer is a little pricey considering it comes from a drugstore brand. I hope they keep this formula and shade in their line.
Stargazing Shimmer Shadow $6.99
So far this is the only shadow in their collection. It is the most expensive piece in the collection, and I would say it is too much for a single shadow if it was for the Lisa Frank name and designs being attached to it.
The shade is very pigmented and creamy to the touch. It makes a beautiful lid shade and, when using a fan brush, makes a nice highlighter. It isn’t necessarily a unique shade, I probably have 10000 of the same shade. But, it is in collaboration with Lisa Frank, so I am okay with that. It does its job and well.
The Look
- For my eyes I used the bronzer in my crease and on my lower lash line.
- I applied the stargazing shadow all over my lid
- To deepen up my crease I used a random deep brown.
- I also used a random light shimmer shade for my inner corner.
- I used the bronzer to warm my face up and contour.
- I used the stargazing shadow to highlight!
Over all:
I am in love. It’s Lisa Frank…how could I not be!? The Brushes seem to be nice quality and are going to make an awesome collectors piece. The bronzer blew me out of the water and has become my favorite inexpensive bronzer. I do think the eyeshadow is over priced, their shadows are usually $2.99, but you do get a bit more with stargazing…and it’s Lisa Frank.
You can order it, Here. As of 12/12/17 the “Stargazing” shadow is sold out.
