Storybook Cosmetics Wizardry and Witchcraft Palette | Slytherin Green Look

I FINALLY GOT IT. As soon as I heard Storybook Cosmetics was on the Ulta website I ordered the palette. I couldn’t let it get away from me.

Storybook Cosmetics is a company started by three sisters and is Cruelty Free!

Slytherin is my house, so naturally I had to do a Slytherin Look first. It also works for St. Pat’s!

The Wizardry and Witchcraft palette retails for $55 and has 12 shades of multiple finishes.

The palette contains a very nice mirror, and let’s be honest this packing is precious. I comes in a super cute burgundy velvet bag and looks like a book. You could store it on a book shelf and it would blend right in!

The Shades

  • Broomstick
  • Sorcerer
  • Cloak

  • Potions
  • Prophecy
  • Salem

  • Merlin
  • Bewitched
  • Cauldron

  • Spell Books
  • Charms
  • Jinx

The Look

  • I primed my lids with my Manakadar Step One Eye Primer. I then set that with Wet N’ Wild ” Brûlée “.
  • I used a large fluffy brush and buffed the shade “Charms” onto my eye as the transition shade. I like the warm tone with the green shadows.
  • I used a regular crease brush to buff “Cloak” into the crease and on the lid some.
  • To deepen the outer crease I used a small dense crease brush to buff in “Broomstick “.
  • I used a shader brush and packed “Potions” all over my lid. I love this green.
  • To deepen my outer corner I layered on the shade “Cauldron”
  • I popped “Jinx” in the inner corner for a silver pop.
  • I highlighted my brow bone with the shade “Prophecy”.
  • REMEMBER TO BLEND WHEN NEEDED
  • For my wing I used the Ulta Fine Tip liner in black.
  • My mascara is Tarte Tarteist Mascara in Black.
  • I used Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion to line my tight and water lines.
  • REMEMBER TO BLEND WHEN NEEDED

  • For my lower lash line I placed “Potions” as close as I could get it to my waterline. Which is right in my water line, but I know not everyone can do so.
  • I blended that out with “Cloak”

Final Thoughts

Each shadow formula is fantastic. The softness, the pigment, how easy the shadows are to blend, all of it. I have no gripes! The only complaint I have is how bulky the packaging is, but I understand that is for the novelty of the product. If you are looking for a more neutral look, obviously this palette is not for you. If you are a literary fan I recommend checking out this brand.

🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 out of five top hats recommend this palette. I WILL be ordering more from Storybook Cosmetics!

Check them out on Ulta.com!

What book do you want to see made into a palette? I want The Great Gatsby and War of the Worlds!

Thank you so much for reading 💕💕
