Kyut Beauty Box | July 2019

I have a new un-boxing for this month!

The Kyut beauty box is a cruelty free and vegan beauty box is $24.90 monthly. You can also purchase a one time mystery box for $19.00. I am very interested in this whole mystery box thing!

I am very excited about this box, so let’s tear right into it.

Zion Health Beauty Balm $29.99

Our first product is an anti-aging sunscreen with SPF 30. This product is also meant to enhance and brighten your skin tone. This sunscreen is paraben, gluten, aluminum, and sulfate free. SPF is very important, so I am very happy with this product.

Phase Zero Makeup Coconut Liquid Eyeshadow “Lucky Penny” $22.50

I have started getting in to liquid/cream eyeshadow, which is really strange for me! Lucky Penny is a pretty shade, it would look great all over the lid.

Zabana Essentials Sea Salt Wavy Hair Shimmer Spray $15.95

This shimmer spray looks so cute and fun! I will definitely use it for trips this summer.

Root Pretty Pretty Balm “Campbell” $10

I have heard amazing things about the brand Root Pretty, and I have been dying to try some of their products. I suppose a tinted balm is a good place to start. The shade will give a beautiful bitten look to my lips!

Bonus Item: Beach Anklet By Kyut Box

I love ankle bracelets! Unfortunately, I have bad reactions to nickel, so hopefully I am able to wear this anklet. I love how simple and dainty it is.

Over all thoughts?

I love this months Box! Not one dud, and I can feel safe knowing that no animal testing is involved with the products. I can’t wait to see what the next box brings!

Primer Declutter | Clean up 2019

Guys, I am running out of space for makeup and beauty products, and that just won’t do. So, I figured it was time to do a declutter.

We are going to go in the order that I apply my makeup, so we are going to start with primers!

What you are seeing above is a lazy Susan type thing that I got at a whole sale place. For the most part it holds products that I am trying to use up, or find my self reaching for frequently.

On the top are most of my primers. They just fit nicely there.

Let’s get into this declutter.

Serum primers

Keeping

Physicians Formula 24 Karat Collagen Serum:

I really enjoy this serum as a primer. It hydrates a plumps skin, making for a great base.

Cosmetica Illuminating Rose Gold Serum:

If you want glowy skin with out the glitter, this will do it. It also creates a somewhat tacky base, which helps the make up stick. You can also use it as a highlighter, if you like that sweaty highlight look.

Touch N Soul No Poreblem Priming Essence:

I received this primer in a BoxyCharm and really enjoy it. It hydrates skin, which creating a smooth base. I have noticed that it also blues some of my more problem pores.

The Declutters

NYX Honey Dew Me Up:

This primer is way too sticky for me. Every time I try to use it, it gets every where! It feels like literally putting honey on my face and I just can’t handle it.

Wet N Wild Rose Primer Serum

I actually enjoy this primer. But, after Wet N Wilds immoral lies, I just don’t want to keep anything from them in my collection.

Pore Filling Primers

As you can tell I have two of the Touch N Soul No Poreblem Primers. The unused one will be going. But that is the only declutter.

Cover FX Blurring Primer:

I really enjoy the feel and look of this primer. It blurs out my pores, helping to create a flawless base.

Touch N Soul No Poreblem:

This was my favorite blurring primer, before I started using the Cover FX one. I do still use this primer a lot, because I can use it all over my face, with out creating a break out.

Smash Box Photo Finish Smooth and Blur Primer:

This particular tube is from holiday last year. This is a tried and true primer for many people. It creates a soft smooth canvas on the skin and really helps foundation last.

Illuminating Primers

I only have two of these and they are both staying!

Physicians Formula Spotlight Primer:

Beware! If you spread this primer with your fingers your hands will be covered in glitter. But, this primer does not make it look like a glitter bomb exploded on your face. Nor does it make you look like the tin man. It is a great drug store alternative to the recent trend of priming with liquid highlighter- without looking over the top.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Luminizer Primer:

This primer performs just like the Physicians formula one, just more expensive and has a nice smell. I am almost done with this one. Once it is gone I will not repurchase, because I do have the other one!

Primer Samples

The ones the Survived:

Smashbox Primerizer:

This one is also in the packaging from holiday last year. I enjoy this primer on days that I am too lazy to do my skin care routine. I am still toying with the idea of purchasing the full size once the mini is gone.

Ciaté Watermelon Burst Primer:

I just got this primer in Ipsy. I have to try it before I just pass it along!

Tarte Base Tape:

This is another one that I am yet to try, so it is staying until I get to try it and see what I think.

Hello Fab Coconut Skin Smootie Priming Moisturizer:

This one serves the same purchase of the smashbox one, but smells like coconut. I am almost done with this sample, and I am considering buying the full size.

Smashbox Radiance And Pore minimizing primers:

I have two little one use sample of smash box primers. I have really enjoyed the one I have used, so I wanted to sample more to see if there are others I want to purchase. I just haven’t gotten around to this yet.

The declutters:

MAC Strobe Cream in Pink Lite:

I am only decluttering this primer because MAC isn’t cruelty free.

Benefit Porefessional:

I never fell for this primer like other people did. I tended to really clog my pores. It also isn’t cruelty free. So, I won’t use it anyway.

Kevin Aucoin The Sensual Skin Primer:

It would be fun to try such a high end brand. But, it isn’t cruelty free, so I am not going to tease myself.

So, how much did I declutter!!

Over all, I decluttered 6 Primers and kept 14. I don’t feel too bad about this, because I will use up Primers. I use a porefilling and another type of primer everyday, so they will get used up.

What is your favorite and your least favorite primer?

Ipsy Un-Bagging | July 2019

It’s Sunday night, we all have work tomorrow. So I figured it would be nice to throw up a simple un-bagging while I do a face mask!

I am currently using the Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Peel off mask. Mainly for my T zone where I have been having some breakouts.

I highly recommend this mask, and you can always get Yes to products on sale at Ulta!

Now, for the reason you are reading this, my July Ipsy bag!

The bag itself.

I think this months Bag is so cute and fun. Perfect for July! I may make this the makeup bag that I keep in my purse.

But, the contents of the bag is the most exciting part!

Laritzy Cosmetics Dew Pot In Utopia

I really enjoy all the products I have gotten from Laritzy in the past, but I am a little hesitant about this one.

I am not sure it will work for my skin tone. However, I am willing to give it a try as a highlight. But, I will probably end up using it as a Cream shadow. It looks like a really pretty kid shade.

Ciaté London Watermelon Burst Hydrating Primer

I have been very curious about this primer. The dissolving black beads, meant to look like seeds, is an interesting concept to me.

I do plan to review this product, since it does have me so intrigued.

FEEL Mindful Pali Santo Soothing Mask

I really enjoy soothing masks in the summer time. My skin tends to break out and develop rashes much easier in the summer. However, the same also occurs in the winter when the air is dry. This Is a nice sized deluxe sample, I am sure I will get a use or two out of it!

Pacifica Bronzer and Blush Duo Bronzed Rose

Apparently this duo was made just for Ipsy, which is neat! I have another Pacifica Blush and bronzer duo that I really enjoy. It actually lives in my makeup collection at my boyfriends house.

The blush is a pretty shimmery rose, with a warm matte bronzer. I have to say, Pacifica makes amazing products!

TheBalm Single Shadow in The Run Down

I like getting these little samples of the balm shadows in my Ipsy. They are always great quality, and since the packaging is so cute I do tend to reach for them.

This is a plumy grey that can be used as a shadow or liner, which is handy when traveling. The formula is very buttery and I have tried it on my eyes. It is easy to blend and made for a beautiful smoky eye.

The Add Ons

This month I only did two ads ons.

Billion Dollar Brows Brow Brush $3-6 as an add on, I can’t remember.

My Anastasia Brow Brush is really beat up, so I was in need of a new brush. I couldn’t pass up the price on this one. I have tried other brushes from this brand that are great quality. The brush is a bit more thick than I prefer, but I am sure I can make it work.

It Cosmetics Super Hero Mascara $12 as an add on.

If you saw my Glam Bag Plus In-boxing, then you know that I also got this mascara in the box.

This is my holy grail mascara, I just could not pass it up at such a great price! This one is now my back up, as I have already cracked open the one from my GBP.

Over all thoughts

I am super happy with my bag this month!

I got some handy products and one that I have been curious about! The only dud may be the dew Pot, but who knows I may end up loving it!

6 Recent Empties | Look at my Trash!

I have started saving all my empty beauty products in a bag. That way I can pull someone and review a few at a time.

Yes to Ying Yang Paper Mask

I love Yes To skin care, specifically their detox paper mask . I decided to try a new one this time. This mask is meant to be detoxifying and hydrating. Honestly, it seem just like the detox mask I love and was only $2.50

Would I repurchase? Sure, it’s essentially just the detox mask with a cute design.

Beauty Blender in Black

Look at my nasty sponge. I have been using this for like a year and figured it was time to move on.

What are your favorite alternatives to the original beauty blended? $20 is steep for a sponge, but I have yet to find a replacement.

Repurchase? Unfortunately, yes.

Fortune Cookie Soap Rebel Princess Restorative hair Mask

I love this stuff! It smells amazing and works wonders. I actually am currently using another one of their hair masks.

I am hardcore considering resubbing to their box.

Repurchase? I am not sure if I can still get this scent, but I will purchase the product again!

Lush Santa’s Belly Shower Jelly

The product itself is cute and smells great. The scent is long lasting on the skin.

However, I don’t like the whole jelly thing. I thought I would love it, but it just seems like a inconvenience.

Repurchase? No. But, if Lush has the scent in a regular shower gel over the Holidays, I would purchase that.

It Cosmetics Super Hero Mascara

This is my favorite mascara! It makes my lashes look fake! I hate wearing false lashes, so this mascara is a great alternative.

Repurchase? Always!!

The Ordinary High Adherence Silicon Primer

I purchased this primer a while ago when it was still being hyped up online.

I was not impressed, as far as living up to the hype goes. However, it is a good primer for the small price tag. I prefer it more than say the ELF or Wet N Wild ones.

Repurchase? No. I have enough primers that I actually love.

Those are a few of the beauty that I finished up recently. What are your thoughts on these products?

BoxyCharm Unboxing | July 2019

Yay, another Unboxing!

I promise I have more than just un-boxing’s coming up, just hang tight!

But for now, let’s see what is in this months $21 BoxyCharm!

This months theme is Au Naturale, which is super cool.

Elemis Super Food Vital Veggie mask $35

This mask is meant to nourish, smooth and brighten skin. Which sounds great! I always love trying new masks.

Every time I see an Elemis sneak peak for boxy I get my hopes up that it’ll be their makeup melting balm. Have any of you tried it? Is it worth the price?

Butter London Natural Goddess Eyeshadow Palette $32

The packaging is beautiful, but for some strange reason I did not have high hopes for the shadow quality. I am not quite sure why though.

The shades themselves look beautiful, it is not a stand alone palette for me, but that’s fine, I have a million of the shades that I would need to make a look with this palette.

The shades swatch beautifully. Soft and pigmented. I hope the work the same way on the eye.

Luxie Gaea 3 piece Brush Set $30

It is no secret that Luxie brushes are my favorite. So getting eco friendly brushes from them in this box is a great addition.

The brushes included are:

250 Large Eye Blending

246 Precision Crease

510 Foundation.

Alamar Cosmetics Des-Nude-As lip gloss “Dulce” $15

I love Alamar Cosmetics products. So I am stoked to get to try one of their glosses. The shade I got is a peachy nude, which I will definitely use.

Appeal Gel Liner Forest Green $21

This liner didn’t feel dry, or pull at all during swatching, so I have high hopes.

As someone with hazel eyes, I do love a green liner.

Over all thoughtS

I am very pleased with this months box! We got some awesome products that I am excited to try. I also really appreciate the natural theme that they followed this month. The only think that could have made it better would be throwing in something from a clean beauty brand.

What is your favorite green beauty products?

Ipsy Glam Bag Plus July 2019 | Unboxing

Another month, another box.

This months Ipsy GBP theme is Dive In. Which is nice. I love to swim! I am lucky enough to have a pool, and we definitely take advantage of it!

Let’s dive in (lol) to this months box!

Pixi by Petra Glow Mist $15

This is a cult favorite, that I have actually yet to try! I am really excited about this. I have heard nothing but great things. I am always up to try a new setting spray! It is a nice size for travel as well.

It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara $24

I have said this before, but this is my all time favorite mascara! I love getting it in boxes, because the box is usually less than $24 and I get other products. Super happy about this one!

Touch In Soul Pretty Filter Waterful Glow Cream $38

I love getting expensive skin care in my sub boxes. I have a fancy skin care routine for being a broke chick!

This product is a pretty light purple color. It has a fresh citrusy sent and claims to work for all skin types. I may make this my morning moisturizer.

Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions $27

This is a product I already own, but it is so cool to get it in this box!

I will have this listed on my Mercari and Poshmark.

Anyway, this is an awesome palette, I actually use mine quite a bit, even though it doesn’t look like it.

Here are a few random swatches. The formula of all of the shadows is fantastic!

Ofra Rodeo Drive Highlighter $35

This is another product I already own, but in the older packaging.

I will also list this on my Mercari and Poshmark.

I love this Highlighter. I reach for it a lot. I know it’ll be blinding and easy to blend. Never lets me down!

I am sure everyone knows what this Highlighter looks like, but here is a swatch for good measure!

Over all thoughts

I am really happy with GBP this month!

It is full of great products. I am not even disappointed about getting two I already own, because I can sell them or pass them on to a friend.

A very late BoxyLuxe Unboxing | June 2019

I am late. My bad. But, better late than never I guess?

Let’s just get into this BoxyLuxe unboxing!

Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Cheek Palette V3 $45

This box started off strong! I have wanted one of the Tarte Pro Glow palettes for a while, but never bought one.

The shades all work well with my skin tone, and I have been using it a ton since I got it!

Touch In Sol No Poreblem Essence Primer $23

I haven’t notice as much pore filling qualities as I do with their original primer. But, I do really like this. It turned my skin in to a super smooth canvas, and I have yet to find a foundation or concealer that it doesn’t mesh with.

Dominique Cosmetics Lemonade Lip Glass “Strawberry Lemonade” $17

Spoiler alert, this is my only dud in the box. I don’t really use glosses, much less really pink glosses. However, I do have it listed on my Poshmark @mandajanette for $10 so maybe I will get some extra cash from it!

PYT Mini Turbo On The Go Dryer $85

This hair dryer is so cute! It works so much better than the cheap conair one I was using, despite its small size. I love that it is so easy to travel with, and also came with attachments.

Dr.Brandt Clean Biotic PH Balanced Yogurt Cleanser with Chlorophyll. $35

I love Dr Brandt. I don’t think I have ever tried a product that didn’t work wonders for me. I am excited to used up my current face wash so I can move on to this one.

Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum $58

Farmacy is another brand that has never done me wrong! This actually came at the perfect time, as my current night serum is on her last leg.

Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast $29

Who doesn’t want more volume in their hair? Lord knows I need it! I have already heard great things about this product, and when I tried it I was not disappointed.

Trestique Good Vibes Mascara $25

Let’s start with the little lash curler that is attached. It’s super small and I hate it. It’s just extra packaging. The mascara itself is awesome though! I have used it a ton since I got it.

Skin&Co Truffle Therapy Radiant Dew Mist $35

This stuff has been fantastic in the nasty humid weather we have been having. It is a really nice refresher through out the day, or to spray on before or after applying makeup.

Over all

I am blown away! This box was well worth the $49.95ish that it cost! BoxyLuxe is so exciting, I wish I could get It more often.

Here is my face after using all the products, but the lip gloss.

What is your favorite product from your BoxyCharm this month?
