Hello!
The other day I ran out of my lip scrub and my ELF brow pencil, so I needed to repurchase them. Guess who has the worst Wal-Mart ever? I do. I honestly didn’t ever see myself ordering from the ELF site again after my last order, things were broken and missing, due to their crappy shipping packaging. But, sense I wasn’t able to just quickly pick up the two items I needed, I decided to make a small order and try some new things.
Obviously, I got my brown pencil. It was the main reason that I even made the order. I use the shade “Taupe”. I also decided to pick up their Lip Defining brush. I am really starting to like the clean defined look that I get when I use a brush to apply my lip product, so I figured for $1 I can’t go wrong.
I also got their lip exfoliator in “clear”. I am pretty sure it is cherry scented. Out of the 3 they offer, this one is my favorite. It is also super inexpensive, and their is not a big mess sense it is setup like a lip stick!
I have never tried an ELF lip liner, so I decided to go with their liner that is only $1, in the shade “Bitten”. It is a pencil that needs to be sharpened, which I am fine with. Especially sense it came with a sharpener! That was a nice little surprise. I think this is the only $1 liner ELF has, but it does look like it will go with a ton of other lip shades from red to darker pink, to berries.
I had no idea that ELF had liquid lip sticks!! I saw them, and needed them. I believe there are 3 shades, but I decided to only pick up two. “Red Apple Red” and “Naked Nude”. They applicator is doe foot, which I prefer for this type of lip product. It is pretty thick for a liuid lipstick. I will have to give y’all a review of these.
ELF recently came out with their version of “Nude Stix”. When I was checking them out, everything was sold out but the double ended shadow sticks, I decided to go with one I will actually get use out of. The shade “Nude”. One end is matte and one end is shimmer. I reminds me a ton of the Milani Double ended brow high light pencil thing.
ELF also came out with color correcting sticks recently. I picked up the shade that is supposed to correct dark circles for people with fair/light skin tones. Upon first impressions, it is extremely creamy!
More often than not, ELF has coupon codes that get you some free mystery stuff. I believe the one I used was berry crush-it has since expired. There are some new ones though that they have right on the site!
The baked shadow in “Pixie” and the blush in “Fuchsia Fusion”. (Brush swatches). I already owe this shadow and it is really pretty wet, the blush is too glittery for me.
I also was given one of their double ended liner and shadow sticks. in the shade “Black and Smoke”. I like this, real creamy.
The beautifully bare lipstick in “Touch of Blush”. This is a pretty shade, glad I get to try it!
They also threw in one of their angled liner brushes. I already love this brush and can never have too many.
