My Thoughts:

The gel is clear, thin, and has no discernible scent; which, surprises me a bit after reading the ingredients- a lot of fruit product in it!

I found the product extremely easy to run in, it was nice. But, I don’t think it is anywhere near worth $52. I have a product the Mel from Mel’s candles makes that gives me the same results and it is only $4.50! Unfortunately, I can not find it on her website.

I am giving this product 🐘🐘🐘 out of five elephants. It’s a good product, but not worth the price and I will not be purchasing it.

Thank you so much for reading!

My experience:

I hate the smell. It smells like black licorice, which I really dislike. So that is a big mark off itself sense I have to set around for 15 minuets with it on my face. As time wearing it drug on, my face started to burn. At the time of use my face was severely broken out, so I was hoping that this mask would improve my condition. Preferably with out pain.

10 minuets after washing the mask off my face, I took a look into the mirror. This mask works! The first time! The nasites on my face were sucked dry. I am incredibly impressed. If you can deal with the smell and pain, this mask is 100% worth what is costs.

However, I can not deal with the smell. The pain, whatever beauty is pain, but the sent is too much. It sounds like such a small down fall, but it is sitting there, on your face, for an extended period of time. The scent doesn’t go away either after rinsing off the mask. I just can not do it.

What Glam Glow masks do you like? What scent can you not stand? Comment below! I hope you enjoyed this little sample review, you can find more on Instagram and Snapchat manda_janette

*Birch Box Sample Review* (Malin + Goetz Grapefruit Face Cleanser

MALIN-GOETZ-Grapefruit-Face-Cleanser

(Pic sauce. )

I have decided to start centering the talk wall portions of my post. In my eyes it looks more professional. What do you think?

I got a sample of this product in my April BirchBox, and if you remember, I didn’t like this product from my first impression. Now, after a few weeks, I am going to tell you what my opinion on this product is!

BirchBox Break Down:

“This triple-threat cleanser from (MALIN + GOETZ) dissolves dirt and oil, clears acne, and balances skin’s pH. The amino acid-based foaming gel taps naturally antibacterial grapefruit to prevent blemishes and exfoliate, while hydrating glycerin and sodium pca leave your complexion soft, not taut. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin, and rinses away completely—no need for toner. (So…quintuple-threat?)”

Sample in general:

In general, this was a pretty good sized sample. (This is prevalent because it attributes to BirchBox’s worth.) I got quite a few uses out of it. It was the perfect size to allow me to make a firm opinion on the product.

Thoughts on its properties: (scent, feel, etc..)

I am not fond of the grape fruit scent. I am STILL not fond of it. The scent made it kind of hard to use on my face, because the scent lingered. But, on a positive note I love that it is a gel instead of a cream. It also has an amazing texture. It is so smooth when you are rubbing it in to your skin.

How did it affect my skin:

I  have very dry sensitive skin. It is pretty hard to find facial cleansers that I actually enjoy. This product however made my face SO soft, it was kind of amazing! It also didn’t cause any type of break out or rash, which sort of surprised me because it has a fragrance.

Would I purchase:

This product is $32. You can get it here!

If this product comes in different scents it is something I really want to purchase. It works great and my skin has shown a lot of improvement since I have been using it. The only thing holding me back is the scent. I can’t stand it. I am sure I am one of the few people on earth who hate the popular fresh grape fruit scent, but I just cannot handle it.Other than that though, I am very glad I got to try this product and hope I can get my hands on a different scent ( or non-fragrance version).

What is your favorite face wash? Have you tried this one? DO YOU LIKE GRAPE FRUIT!?

*Birch Box Sample Review* WEI Golden Root Purifying Mask

5416

As you may have read, I received this product in my MY FIRST BIRCHBOX! April 2016. This is a small sample of the WEI Golden Root Purifying Mud Mask. You can purchase it for $42. It comes with 8 pods and a brush to apply the mask.

I want to point out that my little sample said that it was a one time use pod, resulting in no way to close the sample. But, when I applied a thin layer like instructed there was quite a bit of product left, I really hope it doesn’t just go to waste. I also am not sure if the pods in the full-sized set are like this as well.

BirchBox Break Down:

“Most mud masks feel like paper-mâché creations once they dry on our faces. Not so with this super-soft mask from WEI™. It purges all kinds of debris from your skin—from excess oil to environmental pollutants—leaving your pores nearly invisible. We love how the single-use pods come equipped with a handy brush to help you apply the mask evenly. The formula works for all skin types, even the most sensitive.”

Directions:

on my birchbox card it says to “apply a thin layer, wait 10 mins, the rinse off with warm water.”

My Thoughts:

I love the smell of this mask. It smells a bit floral like and just the smell made me feel like my skin was cleaner already! I really enjoyed how easily the product applied and came off, usually masks are a huge fuss and I hate it. My skin has never felt so soft or smooth before, it kind of blew my mind. I feel like I will no longer like the masks I already own because of this product. My only complaint really is the packaging.

Would I Buy?

No, probably not. Just because of the packaging. Seems like a lot of money to potentially waste quite a bit of product.

Have you tried this mask? What is your favorite face mask??
