Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation 130N $38

I have tried this foundation in the past and returned it. It was just too much for how oily my skin was when this first came out. I am going to give it another go, but if I still don’t like it I’ll pass it on to a friend. I do think the shade will be a good match. I do hope I enjoy the foundation now that my skin has changed a bit. I really want to get on the luminous foundation trend.

Céla By Celine Tadrissi Glacier Clay Cleanser $45

My skin hasn’t been too finicky when trying new skincare products, so I am always up to try a new cleanser, especially one so pricey! It is supposed to remove makeup ( I always pre-cleanse), environmental pollutants, and dead facial skin cells.

Christophe Robin Instant Volume Mist with Rose Water $39

I do already own this, and I have yet to try it. I am going to give it a go, but if I’m not into it I am going to give the used one to my mom and try to sell the unused one on Mercari.

Item Beauty By Addison Rae Lash Slick Lengthening Mascara “Midnight Mood” $15

I usually go for more voluminizing mascaras. However, I am not against trying out one meant for length. Maybe I’ll pair Lash Slick with another mascara meant for volume.

On another note, I got the Ipsy X box curated by Addison Rae and I still have no clue who she is.

Lucky Chick Liquid Eyeshadow “Rose Quartz” $22

I have gotten some lip products from Lucky Chick in the past and they are fantastic! I am excited to try another product from them.

The shade is really pretty. The swatch set down quickly leading me to believe the shadow will be decently long lasting on the eye lids.

It’s BoxyCharm time! I know sometimes you can get some stuff in this box that you will never use, I still get excited when it shows up on my door step.

BoxyCharm Premium retails for $38 and contains 5-6 full sized beauty products

Natasha Denona Cupid Cheek Duo $42

I always love getting Natasha Denona products in BoxyCharm. I get so hyped. This is a cream blush and powder highlight duo.

It seems like the cream blush may take a bit to build up and I’m not sure how I feel about the highlight. I am going to give this duo a try, but I may end up passing this on to a friend.

Herbivore Botanicals Bakuchiol Retinol Alternative Smoothing Serum $54

I’m looking forward to trying a product from Herbivore! I have never tried a retinol alternative, but I do have high hopes for this product.

“A naturally derived plant based serum that smooths the appearance of fine lines and winkles and visibly fights signs of aging without synthetics or irritating effects. Gentle enough for most sensitive skin types, Bakuchiol supports surface cell turnover with its retinoic effect.”

Murad Skin Smoothing Polish $39

This Polish is meant to be ideal for oily, combination, or acne prone skin. I have oily, acne prone skin, so I am hoping that this product makes a difference. If it does I may just have to purchase it outright myself.

Mitchell and Peach English Leaf Body Oil $68

I use a body oil after I shower and I’m running a bit low on my current oil, so this arrived with great timing. It has a sweet but earthy smell, and I’m super into it.

MyBeautyBrand ByMe Black Liquid Eyeliner $20

This seems like a basic felt tip liquid liner. I do prefer brush tips, but I’m sure this liner is fine. I will add it to my growing liquid liner collection.

Endota Hydrating Lip Balm $25

I don’t think I have ever owned such an expensive lip balm, so I am interested to see how well this one works.

I’m okay with this box! I wish the Natasha Denona Cheek Duo was of different quality, but I’m pretty happy about everything else.

Rare Beauty Always An Optimist Illuminating Primer $26

I think this is the product I am most excited for. I have heard great things about this primer and I’m ready to give it a go myself.

Generation Skin Hydrating Marine Algae Eye Patches $49

Another thing of eye masks. Thanks BoxyCharm, this is twice in one month. I have higher hopes for these eyepatch’s than I have of others I have received. I am going to pass on the others and keep these.

Luxie Florals Brush Set $40

I am always up for some Luxie brushes! I think Luxie makes my favorite brushes and I’m excited to add more to my collection. I probably will pass on the sponge though.

I have tired this liner before and if I remember correctly it dried up pretty quickly. I will try it again because it was a decent liner and maybe the last one drying up was just a fluke?

Let’s dig into this box! I’ve got a busy day today, but I still wanted to get this post up sense it’s been a few days since my last post.

Somme Institute Transport Exfoliating Glycolic Acid Pads $65

This is a new brand to me. “Powered by MDT5, features saturated soft cotton pads designed to help improve skin tone, texture, and clarity, and an 8% buffered AHA to gently exfoliate dead cells on skin’s surface.”

Sounds good, but we will see how it goes.

Grace & Stella Everything Is Better In Pink Collagen Boosting Eye Masks $24.00

I feel like I got another box of eye masks in BoxyCharm not all that long ago. I will give them a try and see if they help my under eyes at all, but I have yet to find an eye mask that I like.

Keys Soulcare Skin Transformation Cream Fragrance Free W/ Bakuchiol $30

I have another box full of Keys products and I am excited to give them all a try. I have tried the Skin Transformation Cream and it feels so nice on the skin. It sinks in easy and makes it super soft.

Ciatè London Dewy Skin Vitamin C Glass Glow Primer $32

This will be my first time trying a primer that makes glass skin claims. To be honest, I don’t even know what glass skin is. But, I will give to primer a go and see how it affects the look and wear of my makeup.

Āthr Beauty The Big Bang Mascara $28

“The ultimate lash maximizing, black Diamond infused mascara that truly does it all for out of this world length, volume, curl, and definition.”

We will see about all those claims. The brush has short natural bristles and doesn’t look like it will add much volume, maybe length though.

Honest Beauty Magic Beauty Balm Stick $14.99

“ A multitasking balm stick that soothes and softens dry skin, while also creating a luminizing glow. Made with a blend of fruits and botanicals. Works on all skin types.”

*** please ignore how rough my hand looks. I’m two spots Carl got me and the bruise is from getting an IV in the ER

The balm gives a really pretty almost lit from with in look and I’m definitely going to be using it as a highlighter.

That’s my box. It’s pretty skincare heavy I think, but I’m okay with that. I’ve been on a skincare kick lately.

I haven’t tried a new eye primer in ages. I’m excited to give this one a go.

UOMA Beauty Badass MF Lip Liner “Angelou” $16

This is a nice creamy nudey brown lip liner. It’s going to go great with all of my favorite lip colors.

Christophe Robbins Instant Volume Mist With Rose Water $39

This is a volumizing mist for thin fine hair. And it smells like rose. I am hoping it works well on my hair with out making it look greasy.

Vike Beauty Makeup Melt $24

So. This is a spray. You spray it on over makeup, massage it in, and then rinse it off to remove your makeup. This is going to be neat to try. Here’s to hoping it works well.

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette $67

I have been toying with the idea of buying this palette since it came out. I’m super excited that I received it in BoxyCharm! I can’t wait to use it.

The formula is so nice!

Clara’s New York Stimulating Retinol Facial Serum $24.99

“A 96% blend of retinol and vitamin E oils intensely stimulates and moisturizes quenched skin.” I used up my Sunday Riley A+ retinol serum last month. I am not paying full price for that and I haven’t looked for a replacement. I am happy to have this and I hope it does something nice for my less than nice skin.

Saturday Skin YUZU Vitamin C Bright Eye Cream $32

I have accumulated quite the collection of eye creams. I am currently almost done with my Murad eye cream and I think I want to try this one next.

“This eye cream will improve moisture retention, hydrate, and blur the appearance of fine lines.”

This sounds like just what I need. The past month has been a JOKE it’s been so horrible. My under eyes look like I’ve took a stroll through hell. Hopefully this eye cream can help make it look like I’ve got my life together. (I do not).

Bali Balm Pineapple Lip Scrub $23

BOXYCHARM STOP SENDING ME PINEAPPLE LIP SCRUBS. IM ALLERGIC TO PINEAPPLE.

I guess my friends are going to get to fight over another pineapple lip scrub. Nice.

OPV Beauty Loose Setting Powder $22

For some reason I’ve been super into trying out setting powders lately. Hopefully this one is a winner.

Alleyoop Multi-tasker 4-in-1 Makeup Brush $28

This is neat. I like this. It’s going into my on the go makeup bag I keep in my backpack. I think it’s going to come in handy.

Here it is all put together. I probably won’t ever use the sponge end, but who knows.

That is it for my BoxyCharm base box. It’s a bit of a boring box. But I think I’ll get use out of everything but the lip scrub.

BoxyCharm Base Box January 2022

I apologize for taking so long to get this post up. A lot of stuff has been going on in my personal life that has me extremely depressed. Doing anything right now is difficult and I just haven’t had the energy to write anything. I am trying to pull myself out of this and I’m hoping messing with some makeup will help to do so.

Farmacy Filling Good Hyaluronic Acid Plumping Serum $44

I think Farmacy is my favorite skincare brand so I am always happy to try something new from them. I have never tried a Hyaluronic Acid serum so I am interested to see what this does. I did get a Hyaluronic Acid serum from Studio Makeup in a box last month, but I have yet to try it. Honestly my skincare has been lacking with everything going on.

Aesthetica Cream Contour Kit $40

I have some brushes from this brand that I really like, so I am interested to see how well the cream contour performs. I’m not much for contouring, but I can definitely give it a try.

Earth Harbor Naturals Nymph Nectar Superfruit Radiance Balm $38

I am really interested in this brand. I have heard a ton of good things about it, but I have never tried it myself. This balm is meant to make your skin look bouncy and dewy. I am excited to see how well it works.

Haus Laboratories Glam Attack Liquid Shimmer Powder “Chained Ballerina “ $20

First off, I’m never going to use this. It’s a glittery black liquid/cream shadow. I wish I had gotten a different color because I have heard good things about this product. I am going to be passing this along to someone else.

Dragun Beauty Lip Job Liner and Sharpener “2.0cc” $18

All I know about this brand is that it was founded by a YouTuber who I have never watched. I believe the color corrector from this brand was a big thing for a while. The liner is a good nude color I’m sure I’ll get plenty of use out of and the sharpener seems to be great quality and will probably be replacing my old one that’s in pretty poor condition.

That’s it for my box! I’m pretty happy with everything omitting the cream shadow. I am sorry if this post feels a little rushed through and I’m sorry nothing is swatched. My boyfriend of close to two years left me and I am still trying to figure out how to be without him.

I got a lot of great stuff in my BoxyCharm Premium this month, let’s get into it!

Athr Beauty Desert Sunset palette $48

This palette has a beautiful color story. I cannot wait to give it a try.

The mattes swatch beautifully. The shimmers left a little to be desired, but we will have to see how they apply to the eyes.

Kosas Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Treatment Gel Soft Brown $22

This is a product I have wanted to try since it came out. I’m really excited to see it in my box. I think soft brown will be a great match for me.

Cover FX Custom Enhancer Palette $42

These are supposed to be their highlighter drops in pressed powder form. This is a neat concept, but blinding highlights are really for me. I am going to keep it long enough to give it a try, but I’ll probably end up passing this on to a friend.

LYS Beauty Secure Skin Gripping Primer Serum $20

I am all about gripping primers! I have a few from the drugstore. I am excited to use one that is sold In Sephora. I have to say, this is a great price for a makeup brand that’s in Sephora. I do have a bronzer from this brand that I really enjoy, so I have high hopes for this primer. I may just have to do a “test it out” post!

Juice Beauty Bamboo Pore Refining Mask $36

“Clear and hydrate your skin at the same time with this pore refining mask. Help protect against “maskne” with bamboo charcoal and kaolin clay to help detox, aspen bark to help smooth and hydrate, and exfoliating polyhydroxy acids for a softer, smoother complexion.”

That all sounds fantastic. I am a Covid Screener so I obviously have to wear a mask all day and work and the break outs are REAL. I am going to give this a try tonight and hope to see some improvement after a few uses.

Persona Cosmetics Lip Liner 90210 $14

This is a very pretty lip liner and the color is right up my alley. I think I will get a ton of use out of it.

My box was great! I’m really happy with everything, besides the highlighters, but I think I got my moneys worth!

First off, happy new year! I hope 2022 brings you all joy, good health, and good vibes.

Today we are going to unbox my very late December Boxy Base Box.

Algenist Triple Algae Eye Renewal Balm $68

$68 for an eye cream!? Skin care prices blow my mind. I’m glad I get so much in subscription boxes. But then I fall in love and have to shell out the big bucks. This eye cream is “clinically shown to help reduce dark circles, bags, puffiness, lines, wrinkles, and crows feet in just ten days.” That’s some pretty big claims. I’m excited to see if this product actually works the way it claims.

Studio Makeup Hyaluronic Acid Rejuvenating Serum $45

This came to me at the right time. I was just thinking about how I wanted to try a hyaluronic acid because my skin has been getting so dry with this cold weather that has been coming and going in Missouri.

Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner Water Resistant Liquid Liner $18

I was also just thinking about how I need a water proof or resistant liner. Hopefully this one can actually hang around with my watery left eye.

Araceli Bella Sponge Duo $24

I haven’t ever heard anything about this sponges so I am interested to see how well they work. Into my jar of unused sponges they go.

OPV Beauty Spotlight Palette.

This was a bonus item. I’m not sure why I got it. It is a pretty color story and from the swatches I did do the shadows seem to be good quality.

Dito Cosmetics Limited Edition Venus 12 Shade Palette $29.99

I have seen this palette on random peoples Instagrams and unboxing videos. However I don’t know much about it. It is pleasing to look at and the theme is neat.

It swatches nicely. I just don’t think I’ll use any of the glittery shades.

November 2021 BoxyCharm Base Box Unboxing

Let’s get into this months unboxing!

Glow on 5th Refresh and Reset Brightening Mud Mask $30

I have yet to try this mask but, I am excited to! It is infused with ginger root and taurine to re-energize skin and minimize fatigue, boost circulation, and help with rehydration.

This sounds exactly like what I need right now. My skin has not been the best.

Trèstique Foundation Stick “Crete Cloud” $30

I was kind of skeptical about this product. Then I tried it. It gave my skin a luminous look with a nice medium coverage. The stick has an attached sponge ( which I didn’t try). The case is also refillable, which I think is great!

Seraphine Botanicals Primrose and Cream Lip and Cheek Cream Palette $42

The creams apply well over powder and give the cheeks a nice kiss of color. I do not like them on the lips however, they don’t really give off much color payoff when applied to the lips.

Trust Fund Beauty Better Than Therapy Lip Oil $18

This is a really nice lip oil. It feels very soothing and hydrating. I do like that it’s clear so it can easily be applied with out a mirror. I have been using this at night and my lips actually are doing much better.

Amnh Skincare Unicorn Dreams Body Butter $20

I am in love with this body butter. It feels really good on the skin and smells fantastic! It does look a little greasy, but that doesn’t bother me I use it at night and my skin is covered up anyway. I would definitely purchase this product when I run out.
