I want to get in to the habit of doing favorites like every other blogger on the planet does, but I just never make the time to actually do the post. I did a small one last month, here, and have decided to format it a different way this month. And yes, I know it isn’t my whole face, but it bounced around enough to were it made sense to me (:.
Briogeo Roscarco Blow Dry Heat Protectant Cream:
This cream was in the October Boxy Charm, and I have been using the crap out of it. I use it before any type of styling and to remove frizz, or just to make my hair smell good. I am addicted to this scent. I plan on buying more from the Rosarco line from Briogeo. You should really pick this up, if you use any heat on your hair, hell, pick it up if you have hair! It is $25 at Sephora.com
Modicum Essential Serum:
A few months back I got this serum in a Vegan Cuts beauty box. It has a variety or organically sourced essential oils in it, so it smells very earth. At first this really put me off, but I have grown to love the earthy variety of scents. This serum is meant to give your skin glow and diminish fine lines and wrinkles. It is also meant to really moisturize your skin, and help improve chronic skin issues like acne, psoriasis, etc.
I use this as a primer! In a Green Bunny Beauty video, Ashleigh said that a serum makes a great primer, the whole oil fighting oil concept. So I decided to give it a try and fell in love. It has also really improved my skin in the freezing weather. I will buy this again when I run out. I put 3 SMALL drops on my face on each side and that is all it takes, so it will last quite a while. The travel size is $20, the Full-size is $55. Here is the site where you can learn more about it, and purchase the products.
Physicians Formula Eye Booster 4-in-1 brow boosting kit:
I haven’t heard much about this product, and I have no idea why! You get a really nice brow pencil. It is not a thin one, but it is great for filing in your entire brow, makes it quicker. A pretty highlight, which works wonders for carving out your brows. Super creamy, very blendable. The boosting part of the set is supposed to be the gel. I have yet to see any extra growth, but it is a fantastic setting gel. It is thin enough to not get clumpy, but still gives great hold. I think this is my favorite brow gel, like, ever. The set is $14.99, and is available all over the place! I would get it at Ulta, sense they have the $3.50 off $15 deal.
ELF Satin Lipstick “Touch of Blush”
I got this lipstick as a free gift, and I am really glad that I did. The formula feels fantastic! It wears a nice amount of time for a $5 satin lipstick. The shade is perfect for this time of year. It is bold, but not too bold that you wouldn’t want to wear it during the day. Not that that would stop me anyway. This shade is read, but does have warmth to it, this makes me think that it would look fantastic of a ton of skin tones.
Kat Von D Inked Liner in “Trooper”:
I have to say it, I like this more than the Tattoo liner. It has given me a new love for felt tip applicators. It is very easy to get a wing with, very matte, and goes no where. I haven’t been reaching for any other liner, because I know this one won’t fail me. It also comes in a ton of different colors, so I will be including this in my order when I use my $20 off code at Sephora!
That is it for my favorites! Not much of skin care or body care, because it has not changed. I also had a few LE things that were only available in the Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet, but didn’t want to mention them because they are not readily available.
