Pusheen Box Unboxing | Fall 2019

It’s the best time of the year, fall, October, spooky season! And the only thing that could make it better is a box full of Pusheen!

The Pusheen Box is $50 a season and is packed full of Pusheen items. It includes clothing and even exclusive stuff!

Pusheen Bat Sticky Notes

These are super cute and quite a large pack. I wish I still worked at an office so I could use them there! But, I can use them at home, or save them for when I do have a new office job

Pusheen Dust Pan

This dust pan is super cute and will be great for little kitchen clean ups!

Pusheen Candy Corn Plush

This little guy is so cute! He is going to be displayed all year round.

Pusheen Draw String Bag

I am not sure what I am going to use this for. Maybe trips to six flags. I can probably use it a ton during this next summer. But, it is my favorite color and covered in Pusheen, so I will use it.

Pusheen Zombie Vinyl Figure

This figure is so cute! I can not wait to have it se out for decorations. I love zombies and I love Pusheen, perfect figure for the Halloween season!

Pusheen Candy Jar

I will be using this jar to hold my reuseable cotton rounds. It is so cute! It’s made of a blue acrylic plastic, and Pusheen looks so cute with her candy corn!

Pusheen Heat Changing Mug

This mug is precious. I am going to get a ton of coffee and tea use out of it!

Dragon Pusheen Hoodie

This hoodie is so cute and comfy! It is super soft inside. I placed my box size as a size larger than I am, so it fits so nice!

I am going to be wearing this a ton. It’s Pusheen, and purple and so cute! I can’t get over it!

Thoughts?

Another awesome Pusheen box! I don’t think they will ever be able to go wrong. This box was perfect for the season and I am very satisfied!

What are your thoughts? What is your favorite item in the box?

Doki Doki Crate | October 2019

My very first box has come in for the month of October!

Doki Doki Crate is all Kawaii goodies, and is $35 a month. If you need a Kawaii fix like I do, but live in an area where that is near impossible, I highly recommend this box!

Ghost Sponges

This sponges can be used for cleaning, or for crafts. I will most likely be using them to clean. Even though they are too cute to mess up! Coty and I have been collecting things for when we move with in the next few months, into the box the sponges go!

My Melody and Kuromi Bowl

This bowl is adorable and made of very sturdy plastic. It appears to be Day of the Dead themed. I love it. Spooky and cute.

Halloween Cat Washi Tape

I know you are meant to use washi tape to make planners, notes, or packages cute. But to be honest, I have found that washi tape works the best for me when I am having trouble getting my winged liner right. It doesn’t stick hard to the skin, which is perfect. I am sure I will be using this tape though to decorate some packages I send out, it is too cute not to.

Kuromi Spoon

The perfect soup spoon! It’s so cute that I don’t want to use it, but I will be using it. Again, this plastic is very sturdy, it appears to be dishwasher safe as well.

Pumpkin Shiba

Is this not the cutest plushie?! A little Shiba Inu dressed like a jack-o-lantern! I will have my new little friend on display all year long!

Over all thoughts

This months box was precious and very true to the Halloween theme. Halloween is my favorite Holiday, so I am a sucker for anything Halloween themed!

What was your favorite item in this months box?

The most BASIC Halloween Makeup!

I love spooky season. Honestly though, all year is spooky season to me!

I found a shirt I bought ages ago with Freddy and Jason on it and it inspired me to do the most basic AF and easy Halloween look.

Literally SO easy!

I used two inexpensive eye palettes to do this, and any higher end products I used can easily be replaced with drug store products.

The palettes I used

Morphe X Jaclyn Hill “Ring the alarm” $15

I used Access as my transition and Secure to deepen the crease a bit.

BH cosmetics Festival Palette currently $10.80 at Ulta!!

I placed Hippie all over my lid.

I used Spirit to high light my brow bone.

I used Kandi as my inner corner high light.

I then used Access and Secure on my water line. I also tried to pack Hippie closer to the last line.

I lined my eyes and did a TRASH wing with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. (The NYC Epic Ink liner is a good replacement at the drugstore.)

Crazy easy, but still Halloweeny, as Coty called it.

I hope you enjoyed this short post and easy AF eye look!!

What is your favorite fall eyeshadow palette?

Boxy Charm October 2016 UN-Boxing!

bco

Hello Everyone!

From the title you can guess what this post is about! We are going to UN-box my October Boxy Charm! For my Ipsy post this month I included a look using the products, but I decided not to do so with the Boxy Charm products, sense they are full size and it will be easier to give the products their own posts.

Let’s stop blabbing and jump into this box.

This months theme is Boxy Bazaar, which I like. I am really in to the whole oddities and out of the ordinary things that the world has to offer.

bco1

The first item in the box is the Briogeo Rosarco blow dry perfection & heat protectant creme.  I have tried this before and love it. When I saw the full sized bottle in the box I was really glad. I am going to get a ton of use out of this, I might actually start styling my hair more often now that I have this. ($24 value.)

The next thing in the box is stinking awesome!! The Luxie Eye Blender Brush Pack. I love Luxie brushes and wanted to try more so badly. The brushes are amazing quality, and very cute. I really enjoy that these were in the box, especially 3 of them, it is nice that it was a set rather than just a singular brush. ($36 value!)

The next item is a Star Looks Liquid Lipstick in the shade “Piquant”

bco3

This is a super pretty deep mauve/ berry shade. I have worn it a few times and it last quite a while and feels really comfortable. I like blending my Notoriously Morbid Changling Top Coat in “Touch of Magic” in the center of my lower lip, the colors look amazing together. ($19 value.)

Next in the box was the Temptu Shimmer bronzer. This is the only item I am not to excited about right now, but I think I will end up getting in to it in  a few months once it is summer again.

bco2

It looks pretty, but awfully warm. I do not have a Temptu system and I am not one for liquid bronzers. I may end up passing this along once I actually try it. ($29.50 value.)

The last item in the box is really cool. It is the Ipy Beauty “Three’s Company” Trio eye shadow. I had never heard of this brand, so I was excited to see what kind of quality the shadows are.

bco4

Look how pretty and pigmented it is! I can not wait to use this and review it for y’all. Boxy Charm is really killing it with the eye shadows they have been including in their boxes. I do wish it wasn’t neutral, but I can always buy more from this brand if I like it. ($19 value.)

Overall:

I love Boxy Charm and they have delivered another great box. I will get use out of all of it but the bronzer (maybe), so 4/5 isn’t bad, especially when the 4 good items are fantastic!

I hope you enjoyed this post! What did you think of Boxy Charm this month? Have ou tried any of these items, were they good? Comment below! Want more B&T? Read this next! You can also find me on Instagram and Snap Chat as manda_janette

Ipsy Review October 2016!

io

Hey guys!!

For this months Ipsy I decided to do more of a review, rather than just an un-bagging. At the end of the post I will include a look that I did with the products I got! I may just continue to do Ipsy this way, we will see!

io1

The theme for this month is “Black Magic”, and as usual I am going to start by reviewing the bag itself. Holy crap this is my favorite bag ever! Look how cute it is! I have already put it in my purse to carry my “take along” makeup. The bag is made of good quality material and the little zipper is a ghost. It is perfect!

This month my bag contained a pretty good variety of things.

The first thing I pulled out was the Pur-lisse Daily Lip Nourisher W/ Mango and Shea Butter. I used it to prep my lips this morning and it did a great job! I really enjoy mango, so the smell is really nice. I will still purchase the Glossier Balm Dot Com over this, but I will still use this up.

The second thing I pulled out I have yet to have a chance to try, but I am really excited to use it! Adesse Organic Infused Nail Lacquer “Grand Central”

io2

I reminds me of an oil slick, I think it is going to be perfect for Halloween! The formula does seem thin, so we will have to see how it works out. I am hoping it is as great as I am thinking it will be.

The next product I was really excited to pull out of the bag. I have wanted The Balm Hot Mama! blush for a while, but never purchased it because I wasn’t sure how it would look on my fair skin.

io3

Spoiler alert, it is beautiful! I also think it is going to look amazing as an eye shadow, I will have to update y’all on that one. I think I am going to wait to purchase the full-size still until I use up some of the blushes I already own. I do love the quality and shade though!

I was a little apprehensive when I pulled out the Ciate London Fierce Flicks liner, but it wasn’t a total fail. It is very black and dries down very matte. It does not budge, at all. But, I am not the biggest fan of felt tip liners, and this one doesn’t have quite a percise enough tip to make the perfect “fierce flick”. But, the little mistakes are an easy fix with a q-tip and makeup remover, and I am willing to have to take the extra step for an eye liner that wears this well.

The last item I got in this months bag was the Tresitque Mini Matte Lip Crayon “Florence Fig”. I have gotten a highlighter from this brand before and loved it, so I was pretty excited to try out a lip stick from them.

io4

I love this shade! I think it is going to be great for fall and winter when I don’t want to do a full on deep berry lip. It is a comfortable formula and long wearing. I have worn it with and with out a lip liner under it, it wears a decent amount of time alone, but when layered on top of a liner it is extremely long wearing.

Other Products Used:

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
  • Kat Von D Shade and Light eye palette
  • Pacifica Dream Big mascara
  • Hourglass Mood Light Primer (Sample)
  • Too Faced Born This Way Foundation and Concealer
  • Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer
  • Urban Decay “Booty Call” shadow as a face highlight

Over all I am happy with this bag. It isn’t the best Ipsy bag I have ever gotten as a whole, but I am still really happy with it!

I hope you enjoyed this post! What did you get this month in Ipsy? What do you think of these products? Which format for Ipsy posts do you prefer? Comment below! Want more B&T? Read this next! You can also find me on Instagram and Snap Chat as manda_janette
