An Almost Full Face of Honest Beauty

My classes got cancelled today so I decided to do a full face of Honest Beauty! Well, an almost full face.

Everything Primer Matte $22.99

I started with the Honest Beauty Everything Primer in Matte. I use this primer all the time. It’s a lotiony texture and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, but not looking greasy.

The Everything Cream Foundation in Snow $21.99

This is a foundation I have raved about before and still love it. It can be used with out a concealer because it builds up so easily without looking cakey.

Snow is the perfect match for my light skin and I will continue to use and love it.

Get it Together Eyeshadow Palette $22.99

I have used this palette a few times and it isn’t the best I’ve ever used, but it also isn’t the worst.

None of the shades are particularly creamy and the pigmentation is okay. They do look very pretty on the eyes. I used the first three shades and the cream shade to do more of a romantic look today

Dusk Reflection Illuminizing Glow Powder $19.99

Dusk Reflection is the darker shade and I use it as bronzer. I love this stuff. I use it all the time. It sinks into the skin so well and doesn’t look like too much.

Midnight Reflection Illuminizing Glow Powder $19.99

This is the lighter shade. It’s a great highlight! Not over the top, not to shimmery. It just looks like the light is hitting your face perfectly.

Cremé Cheek Blush in Rose Pink $12.99

I use this blush all the time. It sinks nicely into the skin and I love that it makes me look slightly sunburnt even though I never go outside.

It is a beautiful rosey color and works well on my skin tone.

Lip Crayon in Sheer Rose $12.99

I tend to reach for this lip crayon on no makeup days. It’s comfortable and gives your lips and really nice kiss of color!

I really love how this look turned out! I highly recommend checking out everything! Maybe not the eyeshadow palette, but it does create pretty looks.

What’s your favorite Honest Beauty product?

BoxyCharm Premium| September 2020

BoxyCharm Premium is $35 a month with 5-6 full sized beauty products.

Firstly, I want to apologize for the lack of posts. I have been crazy busy with work and classes. I have had no down time. So I decided to start scheduling in posting sessions. Hopefully this works out.

Let’s hop into the box!

Eloise Beauty The Queen Eyeshadow Palette $46

This palette is beautiful. I love the color story and I can’t wait to see what looks I can create with it. This is a cruelty free brand!

Marc Jacobs Enamored High Shine Gloss “ch-ch changes” $29

This is not a gloss I’m going to use, so I’m going to pass it on to someone else. I am just not one for glitter on my lips.

Frank Body Coconut Coffee Scrub $18.95

I am excited about this. I have wanted to try one of their body scrubs, and not I finally get to. I am really glad that it is sensitive skin friendly. Hopefully that claim holds up! The brand is cruelty free, vegan friendly and 99% natural.

Kitsch Ice Roller $18

I wish this would have come a month or two sooner, because it is already starting to get chilly here and I’m not going to want to roll something freezing all over my face. But I will give it a try, maybe it will make a big difference.

Ole Henricksen Phat Glow Facial $50

This was the item I picked for my box this month. I have heard great things about it and really wanted to try it myself. Let’s see if it holds up to the hype!

Saturday Skin Pore Clarifying Toner $30

I need this so bad right now! Wearing a mask all the time has caused some bad break outs on my face, and my current skincare routine just isn’t cutting it. I really hope this helps.

That is it for my months box. I am really happy with everything besides the lip glass. My box came to a total of $192.95. An awesome value!

Ipsy Ultimate Un-Boxing | May 2020

It’s time for my longest post of the month! Ipsy Ultimate. It is $50 a month. Ipsy also has a $25 and a $12 option.

Let’s jump right into the products!

We will begin with the add-ons. Yes, I actually remembered the add-ons this month!

Nomad Kiss of Sun Palette

This palette was a $12 add on. It’s a highlighting and bronzer palette. I thought it was super cute. I also love supporting Indie brands, which Nomad is.

I should be able to use a few of these shades. I can’t wait to give them a try.

MOTD Eye Brush Set

I also believe that this was a $12 add on. I have wanted to try MOTF brushes for a while now, so there was no way I was passing up on this offer.

Wander Beauty Nude Illusion Foundation “Fair Light” & Yensa BC Concealer “Light Neutral “

These add-ons were either $6 or $3 dollars. Either way, I thought it would be a fun little way to test a new foundation and concealer.

They both seem like they will be pretty good matches.

Please be aware, that Ipsy did not include a pricing card this month.

Innbeauty Project Lip Oil “Candy Apple”

This lip oil taste and smells amazing. It is a bit more like a gloss than I am use to in an oil. It gives a slight little tint of color.

Hey Honey Look into My Eyes Eye Mask

I have never tried an eye mask. I am interested to see if this product is helpful or not. My under eye are has been dry.

Invigorating Hand And Body Lotion “Sweet Orange & Elemi

This lotion is slightly thick, so it feels amazing. The citrusy scent is magnificent. It is a little hard to get out of the bottle though.

KISMET Buff Sugar Scrub

I do believe I got a Kisment primer in my last Ipsy box. I am currently using a different lip scrub, but I will not have a back up!

The Beautiful Factr. Water Jam Cleansing Gel Balm

I love balm cleansers! I really love trying out new ones as well. I have never tried a gel balm, so this should be fun to try.

PureHeals Pore Clear Black Charcoal Peel Off Mask

I just finished a toner from this brand! I just had to throw away my yes to tomatoes charcoal peel off mask because I neglected it and it tried out. This couldn’t have arrived at a better time.

Murad Resurgence Renewing Eyecream

Strange, on my profile I said I rarely wanted eye treatment products. Yet this month I got two. However, I do enjoy Murad, so I will give this product a go.

Dermedicine Weightless Face Moisturizer SPF 25

A moisturizer and an SPF. I am all for being able to skip a step in my routine. With this I can knock out moisturizer and SPF.

Araceil Ojos Perfectos Liquid Liner “Black” and “Brown”

I could do with out another black liquid liner. But, I have really been wanting a brown one. Now I’ve got it! I will probably pass the black one along to someone else.

Dr. Huang Beauty Lab Shea Butter Nourishing Mask & British Rose Hydrating Mask

I love sheet masks. I use one basically every night. These two seem like they will both work well for my current, crazy dry skin, concerns.

Huda Beauty Golden Sands Highlighter Palette

I am not sure if these shades will work for my skin tone or not. But, I sure am going to try it. The formulas in the palette are nice, and the shades are very pretty.

Smashbox Cover Shot Ablaze Eye Palette

I chose this palette this month. Yes! I actually remembered to make my choice as well.

I love the Cover Shot palettes and have wanted this one for a while. I am excited to have it, Ablaze will be a great, easy, go to palette.

That was all that I got in Ipsy this month! I really enjoyed this box. Not so much all the eye creams, but I loved everything else! And will use the eye creams regardless.

Ipsy Ultimate | March 2020

Guess who is unboxing another box of beauty products? Me! It’s me.

Ipsy Ultimate is $50 a month. You get 8 full sized, and 4 deluxe sample sized beauty products.

This is going to be a long one, so let’s jump in!

111 Skin Celestial Black Diamond Eye Mask and Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask

I was just looking for a new eye mask to try, so this worked out well. As far as the rose gold mask goes, I have tried this one. It didn’t do much for my skin, so I am going to pass it along to a friend or my mom.

Hey Honey Show Your Glow Colloidal Gold and Honey Beauty Mask

I’ve said it a hundred times, but I am always up to try a new mask. I actually planned on using a mask tonight, so I am going to give this little guy a try!

Go To Face Hero Facial Oil

This oil is supposed to be your all in one skin hero and best friend. It is made with super oils and antioxidants to hydrate, calm and revive skin.

Hempz Sweet Pineapple and Honey Melon Body Moisturizer

I love this brand! Their body lotions are all fantastic. This one smells very sweet and will be perfect for the spring and summer months.

Library of Flowers Honey Comb Hans Cream

I am not usually one for hand creams, but this one just smells so great. It left my hands feeling extremely soft. And the packaging! Look how cute it is!

Pixi Glow Mist

Do I have to say much about this product? I love it to death. I have never met someone who doesn’t. Super excited to see such a well loved item in my box.

Moon By Kendall Jenner Teeth Whitening Pen

This is neat! I have seen this line and Ulta and contemplated trying it. A teeth whitening pen is such a cool product to get in a box like this, and I can’t wait to try it.

Illamasqua Hydra Veil

Yay!! I have a sample of this product and love it as a primer. I am excited to have my hands on the full size. It came at the perfect time too, I am scraping the last bits out of my sample.

Complex Culture Angled Foundation

I have another brush from this brand, and it is spectacular. I am in need of a holy grail foundation brush, this one may end up being it. Who knows! It’s soft and very well made.

Mannakadar Blush Bali Babe

Great brand! I am excited to see more from them in Ipsy. This blush is a beautiful shade, very soft and blend-able. Unfortunately, the packaging broke at the hinges as soon as I opened it. That’s okay though, it can go into a Z palette.

SmashBox Gloss Angeles in Michelda

Before searching it, I didn’t think this gloss would be for me. Once I swatched it though? I think this gloss will add a beautiful and effortless wash of color to the lips.

Chella La Vie Neutral Palette

First off, I really thought Chella only made brow products. You learn something new every day.

This is the perfect neutral quad! The mattes are pigmented and buttery, the Metallica are stunning. I cannot wait to dig into it!

Benefit Brow Contour Pro in Blonde

This is a cool product to get, it’s interesting and gives me a bit of a nostalgic feel.

However, this is a benefit product, and I know they are not Cruelty free, so I will be giving this to a friend who I know will love the heck out of it.

Over all, I am really happy with this mo this box! I got some cool things, and somethings I already know I love.

BoxyCharm Unboxing | October 2019

It’s Boxy time guys!

Before we begin, BoxyCharm is making some changes next month. They are making a $35 premium box, which I will not be subbing to, well I’m going to try to stop my self. The regular BoxyCharm is going to go up to $25 a month rather than $21. But! You will get to pick one item in your box, and they are also going to be doing add ons like Ipsy does. The value of the box has also gone up to $125, but I feel like the boxes are usually worth more than that any way.

Now that the technical stuff is done, let’s get into the fun stuff!

Dose of Colors Eyeshadow Palette in Baked Browns $32

The box is already paid for plus some! I have been wanting to try these little palettes, but just never picked them up. I would have like to receive one of the other variations, but this is still a nice palette that I will get use out of. A super easy palette to reach for, for a quick grungy eye look.

The shadows are buttery and actually very easy to blend. They are pretty powdery though so be aware. I also wanted to mention that the little brush included is pretty useful, which is always a nice little extra!

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator “Diamond Dust” $26

I have this highlighter in a little holiday trio, and it is the only shade I use. I am happy to have the full size so I can pass that trio along. Diamond Dust has a beautiful pink shift to it.

Iconic London Lip Pluming Gloss “Nearly Nude” $26

This gloss is a great my lips but better shade. You can feel the tingly sensation from the plumping ingredient, which I enjoy the feeling of. This gloss isn’t sticky, like at all. I can see myself getting quite a bit of use out of this gloss, which is not something I say often.

Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm $32

I never understood or got into the glassy skin trend. So, I did not have high hopes for this product. However, I actually really like it. It reminds me a lot of the Unicorn primer I got in my Ipsy. It made my skin smooth and lit from within glowy.

Illuminati Cosmetics Sponge $21

Okay, this thing. It does expand with water and it worked really well with my setting powder. BUT, everything else was bad. It’s really hard and absorbs so much product. Maybe I will use it a few more times to see if I grow to enjoy it, but first impression- this is not a sponge that I enjoy. I don’t understand how it is $21.

Over all thoughts?

Besides the sponge, I really enjoyed my boxy this month. I got something I have been wanting, something I already know I love, and two surprise awesome items! For $21 I got $137 worth of beauty products. Not bad, not bad at all!

What was in your Boxy? Would you like in depth reviews of any of these products?

BoxyCharm Unboxing | July 2019

Yay, another Unboxing!

I promise I have more than just un-boxing’s coming up, just hang tight!

But for now, let’s see what is in this months $21 BoxyCharm!

This months theme is Au Naturale, which is super cool.

Elemis Super Food Vital Veggie mask $35

This mask is meant to nourish, smooth and brighten skin. Which sounds great! I always love trying new masks.

Every time I see an Elemis sneak peak for boxy I get my hopes up that it’ll be their makeup melting balm. Have any of you tried it? Is it worth the price?

Butter London Natural Goddess Eyeshadow Palette $32

The packaging is beautiful, but for some strange reason I did not have high hopes for the shadow quality. I am not quite sure why though.

The shades themselves look beautiful, it is not a stand alone palette for me, but that’s fine, I have a million of the shades that I would need to make a look with this palette.

The shades swatch beautifully. Soft and pigmented. I hope the work the same way on the eye.

Luxie Gaea 3 piece Brush Set $30

It is no secret that Luxie brushes are my favorite. So getting eco friendly brushes from them in this box is a great addition.

The brushes included are:

250 Large Eye Blending

246 Precision Crease

510 Foundation.

Alamar Cosmetics Des-Nude-As lip gloss “Dulce” $15

I love Alamar Cosmetics products. So I am stoked to get to try one of their glosses. The shade I got is a peachy nude, which I will definitely use.

Appeal Gel Liner Forest Green $21

This liner didn’t feel dry, or pull at all during swatching, so I have high hopes.

As someone with hazel eyes, I do love a green liner.

Over all thoughtS

I am very pleased with this months box! We got some awesome products that I am excited to try. I also really appreciate the natural theme that they followed this month. The only think that could have made it better would be throwing in something from a clean beauty brand.

What is your favorite green beauty products?

BoxyCharm May 2018| Boxy Bash

Hi everyone!

My boyfriends birthday was yesterday, so we all went to a newer restaurant. This place smelt like mildew and it was hotter inside than outside. BUT, they had fantastic sweet tea.

This month is not just my persons birth month, but it is BoxyCharms birth month!

For their birth month celebration they included an extra product in the box, which is always exciting.

Pur Sculptor palette $30

One product down and it always has covered the cost of the box, plus some. I love palettes that have all, in this case most, of the face powders I need. So much easier for travel. Especially when they have a nice mirror like this one does.

I think the shades may be too dark for my slime time right now. But, I will have to try them to see. The highlighters and bronzers are all very pigmented and buttery. I think they would make great shadows as well.

Cover FX Blurring Primer $38

I have really been wanting to try more products from Cover FX. I have also wanted to purchase a nicer primer. I am very glad that I got this in my BoxyCharm, saved me a bit of money!

Pretty Vulgar The Ink Gel Liner “Black List” $24

The packaging for of this gel liner is magnificent. However, I rarely use liners in this format. I just haven’t gotten the hang of it.

The liner itself is extremely smooth and pigmented. I may actually be able to work with this. If not it is going to be a decoration piece because of the packaging.

Aesthetica 3 Piece Eye Trio $45

I have never heard of this brand before. I am always intrigued when I am introduced to new brands, I will have to learn a bit more about them. These brush seem to be of good quality. The angled brush will make a great eyebrow brush I think. I will have to try the liner brush with my new gel liner.

Aesthetica P12 Face Brush $27

This brush seems nicely made as well. The hairs are very soft and the rest of the brush feels sturdy. I think this brush will be nice for blush or bronzer. I love getting brushes.

Han Skin Care Lip Gloss “Raspberry Chardonnay ” $15

I am not a huge lip gloss person. This one is a pretty color though and looks opaque. If I don’t get use out of it rather soon I may pass it on to a friend who likes glosses more than I do. I just don’t like that they are messy because they don’t dry down. Glosses always end up on my teeth.

I wish this was a liquid lip or a lip pencil, the shade is one that I enjoy.

That is it for my box! For $21 I got a box valued at $179 😯😯😯😯. I not hate any of the products. I may not get use out of the Gloss, and I need to learn how to learn the liner, but over all I am ecstatic with what I received.

What was in your Boxy Charm? What products would you like to see reviewed?

Vegan Cuts Gift Box| Spa Day Box

This was originally the “Serene Beauty” Box from August, now it is a Gift Box! I love that VC does this, you can get past boxes as gifts for people for just $25 and free shipping. This box has a retail value of $62.95, so it’s a steal!

William Roam Sense Lotion $4.95

Luxurious, creamy moisturizing body lotion that leaves skin velvety soft and hydrated”

This lotion has the same scent as the Sense hair care by William Roam. I love that line and the scent is beautiful! I wish the notes were listed so I could describe it to you. The lotion itself is really nice. I was told by my new man friend that my hands were super soft after I applied it. So thank you William Roam.

Sade Baron Fresh Luxe Body Mist

“Hydrating Mist for your face and body made with nourish antioxidants and extracts.”

First of all, isn’t this bottle cute? I love the blue. The body Mist is scented with Neroli, Ylang Ylang, and Bergamot. I love it! The scent is very clean and fresh, it will be perfect for next summer. Or if I need a little reminder during the cold weather coming up that it won’t last forever.

Saiva Naturals Brightening Facial Serum $16

The card info for this product was wrong- it was for a lip balm. I will go more in-depth on its ingredients and such in my review for the Serum.

Who doesn’t want a good Serum? I recently ran out of the one I have been loving (review to come) so I was in need of another! The packaging for this sample is really nice by the way. It’s class with a sturdy dropper. A plus for that.

100% Pure Gemmed Gloss “MoonStone” $26

“Lip gloss with sheer coloring from fruit pigments and glimmer from semi precious gemstones”

I seriously want everything 100% Pure makes. I think I am going to pick up some palettes and face products soon, probably during a sale!

Anyway, the product at hand. I find this product stunning. The fact that it is made wth semi precious gemstones gives me whimsical vibes. I love it.

The shade is a very sheer pink, this is going to look perfect over my 100% Pure Cocoa Semi Matte Lipstick in “Pink Canyon”!

Also, excuse my nails. I rarely paint them, and I actually don’t enjoy getting them done. But, when I do have them painted they get chipped to hell in a day or so. I think it’s the one beauty related thing I don’t enjoy. 🤷‍♀️

Derma E Rose Cleansing Oil $6

“Rinse free nourishing rose Cleansing oil that leaves your skin feeling moisturized and soft.”

I am lazy, and cleansing oils help me be lazy. On days where I don’t wear makeup I tent to use a rinse free way to clean my face. If I wear makeup Cleansing Oils are just the first step before actually washing my face.

I am excited to try one from Derma E, it is a brand that has never disappointed me.

That’s it! What did you think? Comment below! I highly recommend checking out their gift boxes for the up coming holiday season, I know I will be gifting some! Thank you so much for reading. 💜

Frosted Berries Lip Gloss | The All Natural Face

vco5

Greetings!

If you read my October Vegan Cuts Un-Boxing, if not you can here, then you saw that I got this gloss from The All Natural Face. After getting this product I decided to browse their site, and they sell so much! Vegan and natural, oral, body, and hair care, makeup up, tools, and empty jar and palettes! Everything is very inexpensive, so you better believe I will be trying out a lot of their products.

But, this post is about the gloss in “Frosted Berries”.

It is a sheer berry gloss with shimmer. I think this is a wonderful shade for this time of year, especially if you want to follow the bold lip trend, but don’t want to do super dark.

vco6

I really have been enjoying throwing this on my lips when I am short on time, it feels really nice and lasts about as expected for a gloss.

My favorite way to wear it; however, is over lip liners. For the lip picture I am gong to include this is what I did, just so I could show y’all how to dress it up.

frosted-berries

  • I lined the outer parts of my lips with the Essence lip liner in “Soft Berry”
  • I then lined the inner parts of my lips with the Essence lip liner in “In the Nude” to create an ombre look.
  • I then applied the gloss on top and put the Notoriously Morbid high lighter in “It’s Only a Dream” on the very center of my lower lip to make it look like it has more of a  pout.

Will I buy more?

YES! I love this gloss and want to try everything from this brand. I love natural and green products, so when I find a brand I really enjoy I kind of go crazy. I am really glad that I am subscribed to Vegan Cuts so that I can discover things like this.

I hope you enjoyed this little post! Have you tried this brand? What are your must have products? Comment below! Want more B&T? Check this out! You can also find me on Instagram and Snap Chat as manda_janette
