My Lip Routine!

lip routine

Sorry that I have been a bit M.I.A lately, life has been busy! On to the post!

I have crazy dry lips, so I kind of obsess over my routine for them. Make note, I do this twice daily! Before I do my makeup and after I wash it all off.

I start by exfoliating my lips. I bounce around between the ones that I have, but my all time favorite, and most repurchased, is the Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub. It is $9 and I highly recommend it! I then use one of the 100’s of lip balm type products that I have to moisturize. I have been using my EOS in Honeydew Honey Suckle a lot lately, it is very spring like.

I also thought it would be fun to show you my most reached for lip paring, as of now, as well!

It is Milani’s lip liner in “Spice” and Pacifica’s power of love lipstick in “Nudie Red”. I love these two products. They are a beautiful pairing and feel fantastic on the lips. They also last a pretty long time on the lips, even through eating!

What is your lip routine?!

My must have * Non-Makeup* Beauty Products

I am currently packing for a trip to my parents condo at Lake of the Ozarks for my Dads birthday. While doing this I realized that I have a few beauty products that I just can not go a day without. How better to share those products with than the ladies and gentlemen that understand what it is like to have ” to die for” products! Continue reading “My must have * Non-Makeup* Beauty Products”

Elf Lip Exfoliator: a review quickie.

elflipex

I recently picked this product up when my local Wal-Mart finally expanded its selection of E.L.F products. Needless to say, I was very excited. Before I start the review I would like to give a far warning that I am deeply in love with the Lush Lip Scrub in bubble gum.

The Scent:

I love this smell. It makes me think of desert! I know a lot of people don’t like strong smelling products, but I love them.

The Packaging:

I am very happy with how this exfoliator is packaged. It makes it less messy to use a lip scrub, which I really appreciate.

The Important part; The exfoliation itself:

If you do not like a very coarse lip exfoliator then you will not like this product. I get very dry lips, so I am perfectly fine with the exfoliation, sense it really does get rid of all of the dead dry skin. I am not sure if it is just the one I purchased, but the exfoliation is a bit painful and the moisturizer that the exfoliator is contained in wore away very fast. But, what is beauty without a little pain right?

Over all?

I will be repurchasing this product, I have even bought some of my friends the product. It is $6 Cheaper than the Lush scrub I enjoy, and it is much easier and hassle free to use.

If you can not find The E.L.F Lip Efoliator in stores it is $3 on eyeslipsface.com

Thanks for reading and have a fantastic Valentines Day ❤ AND DO NOT FORGET WALKING DEAD ALSO RETURNS TONIGHT!!!!! ( I will be posting a discussion post, I may or may not talk a lot about the fine man that is Norman Reedus ❤ )
