I have a problem. I am addicted to lotions and soaps. Most recently, I have been really getting into Lush.
For what I think is my first body care post, we are going to focus on Lush’s sleepy!
I am sure you can gather from the body lotions name, it is meant to aid you in sleep, and moisturize your body of course. If you have bad insomnia like I do, anything that offers to help aid in the sleeping experience sounds very inviting.
The sweet lavender and tonka perfume are meant to make you feel at ease, while the glycerin, cocoa butter, and almond oil moisturize your dry skin.

*the ingredient listing is taken directly from the Lush USA website.*
This lotion is cruelty free, free of synthetic preservatives, and is also vegan. The tub it is in is made out of recycled plastic.
How I use it:
*Sorry if my font changed, it occurred when I added the ingredient list from the Lush site.*
Before I start relaxing in bed for the night I apply “Sleepy” all over my body. Making sure to get my chest, so I can really inhale the scent. Then I light a candle and get to relaxing.
A little tip, use the Lush body wash in “Twilight” during your night time shower, it has a very similar scent to the lotion.
What I think:
Sleeping is tough for me, and I wasn’t expecting this lotion to be a fix all. I don’t think it is helping me fall asleep, but it does help me to relax, which is pretty close!
Is this a product I will continue to purchase? I think it is! It smells amazing, is pretty clean, does its general job, and the product itself is purple!
You can purchase the “Sleepy” lotion, Here!
The 3.1oz, which is what I got, retails for $9.95.
I hope this short post was some how helpful! What Is your favorite thing to help you sleep?
Thank you for reading. 💜
