What is in my Z palettes?| Bonus: My go to look!

I love the idea of Zpalettes. They allow you to make your own custom palettes, which I think is really fun. If you aren’t a fan of single shadows, you can depot single shadows that do strike your fancy and place them in your handy Zpalette.

ZPalettes obviously vary by size and price. Anywhere from $5 for palettes that hold 3 shades, to around $30 (maybe more) for double sided palettes. Now, other brands do make their own magnetic palettes, and there are ways to make your own. I just happen to only own Zpalettes, because they are easily accessible. I live in St.Louis, so there are a lot of Sephora and Ulta’s around me. Thank God!

Let’s jump into my Zpalettes!

Palette one

This is a large Zpalette, and it retails for $20. I got an orange one because I never see orange ones on others social media platforms, so it intrigued me. Sorry for the mess, I dip into these shadows a ton!

Row one:

  • ColourPop Locked and Loaded
  • ColourPop Bel Air
  • ColourPop Come and Get it
  • ColourPop Take it Slow
  • ColourPop Note to Self
  • ColourPop Cloud Nine
  • ColourPop Take the lead

I love the ColourPop singles, and I do plan to purchase more and their palettes. I would say they are one of my favorite shadow formulas.

Row Two:

  • ColourPop Criss Cross
  • ColourPop Paper Tiger
  • ColourPop Popular Demand
  • ColourPop Stay Golden
  • ColourPop Get Out
  • ColourPop Top Notch
  • Make Up Geek Anarchy

The ColourPop mattes are amazing, so creamy and pigmented! I am going to be honest, I only have two Makeup Geek shadows, and they aren’t as good as the ColourPop. 🤷‍♀️

Row Three:

  • Makeup Geek Mirage
  • Ofra Millennium Gold
  • Ofra Bohemian
  • Ofra Buttercup
  • Ofra Smoke
  • Ofra Iron
  • Merle Norman Poolside

The Ofra shadows are alright, I probably wouldn’t purchase anymore. The Merle Norman Shade was a gift and was actually supposed to be a bronzer sample. I just use it as a shadow, it isn’t the best, isn’t the worse. I like using it as a transition.

Row Four:

  • Merle Norman Mist
  • Merle Norman Bare
  • Urban Decay Black Out
  • MAC…I am not sure of the shade name, I’m a savage and didn’t put it on the back of the pan.
  • MAC Cork
  • Ofra Truffle

Black Out is my all time favorite black shadow! I set liner with it a lot and use it in Smokey eyes. The Mac shades are nice, I have heard MAC is going back to fully CF, not testing where required by law. I pray this is true!

Palette Two

This is a baby Zpalette sold at Sephora. It retails for $10. It is perfect for travel. I am still in the process of really organizing my Zpalettes.

  • Jane Iredale, again I am a savage and didn’t write the shade down.
  • Anastasia 10k
  • Anastasia Topaz
  • UD Fireball
  • Pink Pewter Kua Bay
  • Han Romance
  • Han Sunset
  • DLS Tease
  • Younique Trusting
  • Nomad Cosmetics, shade name unknown. This one is listed in my single shadow collection before I depotted it, if you really want to know!

I love the Anastasia shadows. There are a ton at TJMaxx, so keep that in mind!

Palette Three:

This Palette was a collab with BoxyCharm. I believe the retail price was $10. I intended to use this one for shadows, but this highlighter would not stay in the pan.🙄

  • Ofra Rodeo Drive
  • UD Sin

I really love both of these highlighters and reach for them often.

Bonus Look:

  • I set my eye Primer with MUG Mirage. I also used this shadow to blend out any harsh lines.
  • For my transition shade I used ColourPop Belair. It isn’t too warm or cool, it is a great basic transition shade.
  • For my lid I used CP Come and get it. I wet the shadow with Fix Plus, just to give it extra shine, you don’t have to do that though, it’s great dry as well.
  • For my outer corner I used MUG Anarchy. I really concentrate it on the outer corner.
  • To deepen up my crease I used the CP shade Cloud nine. I concentred this towards the outside of my eye as well.

  • For my inner corner I used the CP shade Take it Slow.
  • On my lower lash line I used CP Get Out.

That’s the eye look I tend to do when I don’t want to think about it. The shadows I use do change up depending on the day. I really enjoy how it makes my green eyes pop!

Thank you so much for reading.💜💜😍

The Makeup I left un-packed while in the moving process!

As you know, I have recently moved! Because of this my makeup collection was packed away a few days before moving, so I put some products me to use in my big travel makeup bag. Most of these are just products I am using up or ones that I am making myself get use out of. A few of them are ones I really love. I also want to note that I will not be including brushes. I have a post about the brush I always have to have, here.

Prep/removing/fragrance:

base

  • Starting with the scented items. I am bringing my Pink body spray in “Fresh and Clean” and my Beauti Control “Island Sunset” lotion. I love the smell of the spray, but I am not the biggest fan of this lotion. My cousin sells this brand though, sort of like Avon, and it was a gift from her a long time ago so I don’t want to just toss it out.
  • I am also bringing my routine deodorant to finish up the sample, which some how still has a lot left.
  • I am bringing my almost done ELF Lip Scrub, Smith’s Rose Bud Salve (which has some big pan showing), and my Peek Natural Lip Plumper!
  • I am bringing my ELF Daily Moisturizer, to get a better opinion of it, and bringing the Maybelline Baby Skin primer to finish it off.
  • I also included the Too Faced Shadow Insurance in this category, but it could have also gone under the eye category. This is a sample I some how came to have and just want to use it up so I can use my actual full-size.
  • As my makeup remover I m keeping out the Estee Lauder Take It Away makeup remover. This came as a gift with purchase a long time ago, and I just need to finish it.

Face

face

  • I am trying to use up my Rimmel Stay Matte and my Maybelline Fit Me powders. I know alot of the products mentioned are not cruelty free. I did’t want to just throw stuff away and waste my money. So if I couldn’t pass it on and it was a product I enjoyed, I am going to use it up.
  • I also have a L’oreal True Match concealer in a darker shade to cream contour with. Along with my Maybelline Dream Lumi and Fit Me in “15” to Highlight.
  • I am finishing up my Maybelline Age Rewind under the eyes. And the Fit Me Concealer in “10”.
  • I found that I had the Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation in my collection. It doesn’t have much left in it, so I figured I would try it out again and if I still like it try to find a cruelty free dupe.
  • I am keeping out my Milani baked blus in “Luminoso”, it is by far my favorite blush.
  • I am also keeping out my ELF contour kit and using it for, contour, bronzer, highlight, and under eye setting powder.

Brows:

brows

  • I am keeping out my L’oreal brow definer and plumper. They are both almost done!
  • My essence brow pencil is also coming, it is lighter than the brow definer and sometimes I just want my face caterpillars a little more natural.
  • I am using my NYX beyond coverage concealer and ELF concealer brush to carve out my brows.

Eyes:

eyes

  • Instead of keeping out my naked palette as I usually would I decided to keep out my Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette! I love this little fella, but really do not use it enough.
  • I have decided to keep out my NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk, it really makes a great base.
  • My Milani Brow and Eye highlighter is also staying out. It is a great multi-purpose product.
  • I am keeping out my favorite crease shade, MAC Cork. I really need to find a cruelty free dupe for this..
  • The Merle Norman shadow in Bare Necessities is also staying out, it is a nice blending shade that I want to dupe as well, but don’t use enough.
  • My liners are the Rimmel one in Nude, Maybelline Lasting Drama in Brown, Clinique’s Intense Ebony, and Maybelline Master Precise liner in black. I just need to use these up.
  • I am also trying to use up the Covergirl Clump Crusher and the L’oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascaras.

Lips:

lips

  • For some reason I was having a really hard time passing along my Rimmel Moisture Lock Lipsticks. I had only ever used one, but I think I was connected to the packaging. I decided to bring one “nude and the city” and try to see if I even like the product.
  • I am also bringing the Rimmel Lip liner in Spice, it needs to be used up.
  • I am bringing one of my favorite lip products right now, the Burt’s Bee’s Lip Stick in Russet River. It is beautiful!
  • I also forgot to mention that I am going to be using the Wet n Wild Setting Spray. It isn’t all that bad and I do not give it enough use.

Have you tried these products? Can you dupe the non cruelth free ones? What would you keep out for moving?

Weekend at Lake of the Ozarks: Event summary and Small Haul!

I had a fantastic time at the lake! I got to spend some one on one time with my mom, my dad loved his surprise party, and I got to spend a lot of time with my aunts and uncles.

Other than my dad’s party, we went to a boat show which was pretty neat, took our new boat out on the water for the first time, and I did a little shopping!

lake1

My younger brothers and I! The outfit I am wearing In this picture I hauled while down there. Rue 21 actually has some pretty cute clothes!

My parents, brothers, and I. The location my dad’s party was at had some fantastic food. They also had some pretty amazing mixed drinks. If you are ever in the Osage Beach area, I highly suggest you go to Hero’s Bar and Grill. Continue reading “Weekend at Lake of the Ozarks: Event summary and Small Haul!”

Questions about Cosmetic Company Outlets.

While at the lake my mother and I stumbled upon a CCO. I was pumped. I had no idea it was there, and I had never previously been to one! But, while inside my OCD kicked in. I freaked myself out thinking that the products would be old and harmful to me, sense some of the lines being sold there were extremely old. My question is, is it safe to use these products if they are unopened? Do they expire?

I really appreciate they help <3.

I did purchase one product, which will be in a haul that is soon to come, so stayed tuned!

What Make-Up is Travaling with Me? + The Make-Up Bags I Use to Travel

travelmakeup.jpg

I want to start by talking about the bag itself! If you have read my first few post than you will remember this bag. It is a NYX make-up bag that I got with a set of NYX make-up at Ulta. This is my favorite bag to travel with because it’s clear so I can see all my products easier, and it is plastic which makes it much easier to clean! A pink and brown eye FOTD

image

I wanted to do something a little different than I usually do. Even though it ended up turning out a lot like my usual looks.

The L’oreal Infallible shadow in “always pearly pink” was much more frosty than it was pink. This is the shade on my lid, by the way.

In my crease I used the MAC shadow in “cork” to help the darker shade, Elizabeth Arden brow powder and eyeliner in “brunette” , to blend easier.

As my base shade I used Wet n Wilds “creme brulee”.

image

I used the Starlooks Pro liquid liner in ” black”. I also used the Covergirl Plumpify mascara again, I am really loving it.
My shadow primer was Too Faced Shadow Insurance.  I also used the Elizabeth Arden shade to smoke out my under eye just a bit.

image

I used to ELF contour palette to contour, bronze and highlight. I used the Covergirl TruBlend baked blush in “Medium Rose”.

I used the Revlon Color stay foundation and the Maybelline Better Skin concealer. I then set it all with the ELF color correcting powder.

On my lips is the NYC Liquid Lipshine in ” Honey on the Hudson”.

I hope you enjoyed this look. I have purchased a new camera, so in a few days the picture quality will improve tremendously. Thanks for reading!
