Today I really wanted to use a palette I haven’t used much since I initially reviewed it, here.
It is the Wet n Wild “Coming in Latte” palette. Continue reading “FOTD! Using Wet n’ Wild Shadows”

Most of the time I hate messing with my hair. It just takes too much time and ends up greasy anyway. So, resulting from that is the following hair hack that I use almost everyday. There are a ton of pictures on my blog with my hair in this hack, and it really has helped the lazy girl in me to become even more lazy. Which isn’t always bad right?
I grab the top layers of my hair and put them in a high pony tail, leaving the bottom layer down, except for its front pieces. I also pull these up into the pony tail to make it look more blended. The results in your hair looking longer, and it takes like 2 seconds, which is always great!
Now for the bonus lazy FOTD:
My goal on days like this is to use as little product as possible.
For my foundation I used the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse.
My Concealer is the Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer
My Powder is the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed powder in translucent.
I used the Wet n Wild Brow pencil for brunettes and set them with vaseline
For my blush, highlight, bronzer, and eye shadow I used the Physians Formula Warm Nude shimmer brick thing. ( Inside it it says nude glam)
I used a new mascara for the 1st time for this look Lash Princess False Lash Effect by Essence. ( review coming soon)
On my lips is the NYX High Voltage lipstick in Flutter kiss
It took me like 10 mins total to get ready. If you are wondering why I decided to be so lazy today, it is because I am going to be driving for a few hours, leaving at 9pm. My goal was to be comfortable, but not look like a complete mess when I arrive at my destination. ( I wrote this on a different day than it is posted, because I at least made an attempt to plan ahead!)
What are your favorite hair hacks? What are your favorite makeup products to use on a lazy makeup day? I am dying to find out!

I want to start by talking about the bag itself! If you have read my first few post than you will remember this bag. It is a NYX make-up bag that I got with a set of NYX make-up at Ulta. This is my favorite bag to travel with because it’s clear so I can see all my products easier, and it is plastic which makes it much easier to clean! I wanted to do something a little different than I usually do. Even though it ended up turning out a lot like my usual looks.
The L’oreal Infallible shadow in “always pearly pink” was much more frosty than it was pink. This is the shade on my lid, by the way.
In my crease I used the MAC shadow in “cork” to help the darker shade, Elizabeth Arden brow powder and eyeliner in “brunette” , to blend easier.
As my base shade I used Wet n Wilds “creme brulee”.
I used the Starlooks Pro liquid liner in ” black”. I also used the Covergirl Plumpify mascara again, I am really loving it.
My shadow primer was Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I also used the Elizabeth Arden shade to smoke out my under eye just a bit.
I used to ELF contour palette to contour, bronze and highlight. I used the Covergirl TruBlend baked blush in “Medium Rose”.
I used the Revlon Color stay foundation and the Maybelline Better Skin concealer. I then set it all with the ELF color correcting powder.
On my lips is the NYC Liquid Lipshine in ” Honey on the Hudson”.
I hope you enjoyed this look. I have purchased a new camera, so in a few days the picture quality will improve tremendously. Thanks for reading!

Let’s start with the eyes!
I mixed shades 4 and 7 as my transition shade. This is the Sonia Kashuk eye on textured neutral palette, it is pretty great. I then used shade 5 all over the lid. Shade 2 was my inner corner highlight.
I then used the L’oreal color riche single in” pain au chocolate”
As my actual crease shade. I then used Cover Girls ” brown smoulder ” to darken up my outer V.
I also used essence black liquid liner and the covergirl mascara in plumpify ( also in black).
I assume we all know what to do with foundation and concealer. Just to note, I used Maybellines fit me concealer in cafe as my contour shade.
I then used the Coty powder in translucent to bake. By the way, this sponge is see cheap at Walmart, it is actually pretty nice! I set the rest of !y face with Essences all about matte powder.
I used the ELF contour palette to highlight and set my contour. I also bronzed the rest of my face with Rimmels Sundance bronzer.
I used Wet n Wilds Rose Champagne blush. I am loving it right now.
*** the picture of the lip product I was wearing did not transfer. It was one of L’oreals liquid lipsticks with a balm at the other end in never ending nutmeg.
****** I trade up the lip products a lot. This is one I didn’t like. After 30 mins it started to crust up and flake off.

I am really bad about not using the products I have. So, I have decided to start using a different palette everyday! I decided to start with on of my favorites!!
I used bare as my transition shade, corduroy in my crease, and pink mauve on the lid. I tried to get the lighting better so it was easier to see, but alas I failed.

For my Valentine’s/ Mid Season return of TWD, look I decided to go with a more cranberry tone. (The pictures look a bit washed out, I could not get my lighting to work correctly.) Continue reading “Valentine’s day Make-Up Tutorial. Smokey cranberry <3”

I purchased the shade in soft brown. The kit contains a tinted wax, brow powder, and high light color. As well as, a double ended brush and a spooly! Besides the wax, which did nothing to hold my brows in place, I was pleasantly surprised. The powder was the perfect amount of pigmented for a more natural brow, which is what I prefer. The highlighter is a beautiful, very light pink shade, and it is amazing! I have found myself reaching for this as my brow bone highlight, even when I am not using the other products. The brush and spooly are also very usable, and I just love that. Besides the fact that the palette has no mirror, and I will have to bring a brow gel or wax, I think this palette will be pretty great for travel.
