Target Beauty Box Natural Edition | April 2017

When I saw that Target had a natural beauty box, there was no way I was passing it up.

It retails for around $7, but it is not a subscription, you have to jump on it as soon as it hits there site!

Let’s get into this box, because I am really happy with it!

Burts Bees White Tea Facial Cleansing Towelettes

It has been years since I have used these, but I remember loving them.

Infused with white tea extract, calming cucumber, and aloe to gently remove dirt, oil, and makeup for all skin types.

Juice organic Deluxe Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner

Who doesn’t love travel hair care. I think it is literally my favorite thing. I have been curious about this brand, so this is a great way to test it out.

Volumizes, thickens and promotes healthy hair growth with passion fruit, soy protein and barely protein for fuller hair.

This is a brand I already enjoy for oral care- and Josiah does as well, but we have never tried their whitening formula.

Whitens teeth naturally; free of dyes, artificial sweeteners or flavors, microbeads, preservatives and gluten.

SheaMoisture Kukui Nut Facial Cream Cleanser and Face and Neck Cream

This is a brand I have fallen quickly in love with, anything I get to try from them is exciting for me.

Blend of kukui nut and grape seed oils delivers youth infusing vitamins and antioxidants to help protect against aging.

Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifiying Charcoal Mud Mask

Literally my favorite mask. I can ALWAYS use a back up or 5..

Made with charcoal to naturally draw out impurities, help fight and prevent acne, and removes excess oil.

Acure Pore Clarifiying Red Clay Scrub

This is a new product to me, but a brand I really enjoy.

Moroccan red clay draws out impurities with black jojoba beads gently exfoliate to reveal clearer, smoother skin.

Raw Sugar Lemon Sugar Body Wash

Holy hell this stuff smells amazing!!!!

Processed with cold press technology and packed with vitamin C, antioxidants and essential oils to cleanse and nourish skin.

Page Ashbury Facial Mositurizer FT. Jasmine and Neroli | Skincare Review

page-ashbury

Long time no blog. Life has been, not at all hectic. But, just hard to explain. My thoughts on where I am at life have been complicated. To try to take my mind of it all for a few minuets, I decided to finally review this moisturizer that I got in my Vegan Cuts beauty box a few months back.

This sample lasted me ages!

Full-size cost, $25.

From the site:

“A rejuvenating moisturizer fortified with Aloe Vera and botanical extracts and essential oils of Jasmine and Neroli. Light and uplighting scent with a light texture; perfect for everyday wear.ย Non-comedogenic.ย Suitable for all skin-types. “

Ingredients:

  • Deionized Water,

    Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice,

    Glyceryl Stearate,

    Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil,

    Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil,

    Glycerin,

    Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride,

    Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter),

    Stearic acid,

    Coco-Caprylate,

    Tocopherol (Vitamin E),

    Cetyl Alcohol,

    Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol,

    Jasminum grandiflorum,

    Petitgrain bigarade (Petitgrain Essential Oil),

Citrus aurantium amara (Neroli Essential Oil)

When you pan over the ingredients on the site they tell you exactly what it is!!

My thoughts and experience:

The scent is fantastic, not too energizing but it also doesn’t make me think of sleep. So it was perfect for day and night. The consistency wasn’t really thick or runny, it is the perfect middle ground. I was so sad to see this moisturizer go, I honestly loved it. I whole heartily believe that it is worth the $25, and plan to purchase it once I go through some of the other moisturizers that I currently have. I really need to do a skin care and sample purge.

A fantastic clean and vegan beauty product, that I think would work great for any skin type. I have very sensitive and dry skin, and it was amazing for me. However, it is not oily or greasy, so I also think this would be superb for other skin types as well.

Pick it up, here!

Thank you for stopping by and reading this little review. I know it wasn’t anything spectacular, I have a lot on my mind. Have you tried anything from this brand? What is your fave facial moisturizer? Comment below!

What was in the Sephora Future Naturals Sample Bag?

fn

I recently made a small Sephora purchase. (Haul soon to come.) At the time of ordering, if you used the code OASIS with a $25 + purchase, you got a sample bag with 12 natural products to try! I really enjoy seeing what samples people get with purchases, and I figured at least someone else does too, right?

Speaking of Sephora promo codes, they have some really good ones right now, you NEED to check them out!

Now, what was in the bag!?

  • Mark Jacobs Undercover Perfecting Coconut primer: This is a product I have been wanting to try, but just don’t want to spend that kind of money on a product I may not love. Getting to try it out in a sample, even though small, is fantastic!
  • Tatcha Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream: This is a product I have literally never heard of. Really interested to see how it works.
  • Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask for instant glow: Another product I had no idea existed! This product is 100% natural and non-toxic, so I am pumped to try it out.
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in “Captivating”:Being honest here, but I will probably throw this away. It is just a piece of think paper with the powder on it, just a little pointless to me.
  • Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask: I have already reviewed this product, and I love it. Really glad I have some more, it is a really nice sized sample!
  • Farmacy Rinse’ n Shine Daily Moisture Lock: I have been wanting to test out this brand! Hopefully I like this product so I will feel better about purchasing more from the brand.
  • Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser: This product is apparently supposed to be warming, pretty interested in what it is like.
  • Guerlain Abeille Royale Face Oil: Pretty expensive brand! However, I have a ton of facial oils, so I will probably toss this in as an extra for a giveaway or a packing I sell on Ebay.
  • Josie Maran Argon Illuminizer: Another one I will be passing a long, most likely. I am not the biggest fan of liquid highlight.
  • Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask: I love face masks, always happy to try a new one out.
  • Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration gel: I have heard some great things about this brand. Maybe I will be able to find my holy grail moisturizer in this!
  • Bite Agave Lip Mask: I have always wanted to try a lip mask, and I have heard these are pretty good. It came with Champagne, Natural, and Smashed.

Do you like this sort of post? What products to you want to see reviewed?
