Petit Vour | April 2017

It is finally Petit Vour time! This is a cruelty free, vegan, and green Beauty Box that cost $15 per month. It usually has some pretty high priced product samples in it.

Marie Natie Lip Gloss “Tickled” $19

This gloss feels really nice, and it is a beautiful summer/spring shade.

“Coconut and jojoba oil moisturize and smooth surface of lips to maximize wearability.”

French Girl Organics Cuticle Oil $10

My nails and cuticles sucks. They are so crappy and dry. Any cuticle oil is okay by me.

“This luxurious blend of high potency extracts and essential oils with a citrus rose scent makes for a powerful treatment for healthier nails and cuticles.”

Suntegrity Skincare Makeup W/ SPF “Fair” $5

During hot weather I love tinted moisturizers, especially with SPF in it. I was really glad to see the shade was on that will actually suit my skin tone.

“Did you know that nearly every sun care product on the market contains toxic ingredients? Suntegrity is the answer to anyone who ever wondered if an effective, holistic sun care line exists.”

Nubian Heritage Patchouli & Buriti Body Lotion $3

I actually already own the soap that goes with this lotion, so I was excited to receive this, it smells fantastic.
That is it for this months box. I hope you enjoyed it, thank you for stopping by. Have you tried any of these products? Comment below!

Kani Botanical Beauty Galaxy Milk | Organic Makeup Review

pvm1

The more Petit Vour boxes I get, the more I am falling in love with organic beauty products. The Kani Botanicals Galaxy Milk Illuminating Beauty Oil, is no exception.

The shade is stunning, and is the ideal high light for the coming summer months. I usually do not reach for cream or liquid highlights, but man, this stuff blew my mind.

pvm2

The little card, which has some really intense Glossier vibes to it, gives you a lot of information about the product.

Read full ingredients and product info here!!

Not only can this product be used as a highlight, but it can be used under or mixed with foundation to give you skin a glowy look.

The only down side to this product is the scent. It has, what to me, is a very faint scent of cucumber melon- but off. However, the scent does not linger. The beautiful, lit from within, glow that it gives is enough for me to ignore the scent anyway.

I mean come on! It looks like star dust! Or the rays from the sun! I can not stop reach for this little vile of highlight, and it takes the smallest amount to get a magical glow. The full size retails for $32, and I can really see myself splurging on it, if I ever get through this sample that is!

I hope you enjoyed this little review, thank you so much for reading! Have you tried this product, what did you think? What is your favorite cream or liquid highlight? Comment below!

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box | January 2017

Corresponding Video!!

I am really happy with this months box. Let’s just get in to it, because I am pretty excited about it.

Clairsea Sea Salt Solutions $5 Value:

I have tried a different scrub from them and I really like it. I am really excited to try a different one!

Enfusia Muscle Soothing Bath Bomb $1.50 value:

I have had a different bath bomb from this brand, and from what I can remember I really enjoyed it. I spend like 12 hours on my feet at most days at work. Not good on a bad bad ankle, will probably make use of this soon.

Stinkbug Naturals Tangerine and Clove Deodorant $2.99 value:

I am trying like a champ to find a natural deodorant that works for me, so getting this sample really made me happy. It also smells really good. Wouldn’t mind my pits smelling like tangerine.

Goddess Gardens Organics Eye Cream $17.99 value:

I have a really strange eye cream obsession lately. I got so use to using one when I was trying to use up a sample, that now if I don’t use one I think it is noticible. Glad I get to try an organic one, especially since my eye cream for night kicked the dust last night.

Briogeo Rosarco Leave in Conditioning Spray value $9:

I mcfricken love this brand! I have wanted to try this product so badly and now I can! It smells amazing, I used it tonight and it worked like a charm.

Jersey Shore Cosmetics Tinted lip and cheek balm value $30

No part of me believes this is $30, but it is what the card says. It is a pretty shade and seems like it will be moisturizing.

I hope you enjoyed this post, thank you for reading! What did you think of this months box and products? Any products from these brands I need to try? Comment below!

Adorn Cosmetics Hydrating Cream Foundation | Sample Series

creamfoundationrefill_dsc0203_240x240

*I only had a small sample jar of this product, so can not speak for very long extended use, but I did have quite a large sample, so I tried it for a few weeks.*

Adorn Minerals is a cruelty free, vegan, and natural brand out of Australia. I have tried one other product from them, but for this post, we are going to focus on their hydrating cream foundation.

It comes it five shades, I had the shade “Fair”. It was a fantastic match.

Price:

I can only find the refill for this product now listed on their site. It retails for $55.

Ingredients:

“Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Mica (CI 77019), Zinc Oxide (CI 77947), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Zea Mays, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit*, Polyglyceryl Oleate, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Tocopherol, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, may contain (+/-) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ultramarines (CI 77007)

*Denotes a Certified Organic Ingredient

Our Australian made, cruelty free cosmetics are NOT tested on animals, and are made from pure earth minerals & organic plant ingredients.

They are also:

– Palm & Mineral Oil free
– Paraben & Petrochemical free
– Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate free
– Gluten free
– Nano particle free
– Free from fillers such as Talc, Rice Powder, Clay or Itchy Bismuth
– Free from synthetic fragrance and colours”

My experience/ thoughts:

I actually love this foundation. I have dry skin, so it felt very nice and didn’t cause my skin to look or feel cakey through out the day. However, it did make my skin look very oily as the day went on, so I recommend setting it. At least in areas that you develop some oil.

I really enjoyed using this product as a concealer, sense it has such good coverage. It also works fantastic as an eye shadow base. It cancels out discoloration and prevents creasing. They actually suggest using it as a shadow base as well as a foundation. I believe I saw this on my Petit Vour card, which is why I tried it.

Will I purchase?

After I use up some foundations and can find it with the packaging, or a way to store the refill pan; absolutely! This is a fantastic foundation.

Here is what it looks like on the skin, for a reference picture.

Petit Vour Un-Boxing | November 2016

pvn

I know I said I canceled Petit Vour, and I did. But, when I saw what was in this months box I changed my mind.

Elate Cosmetics Universal Creme “Love” $20:

pvn1

Isn’t it a pretty color? I think it gives the perfect cold weather flush to the cheeks. According to the card, this is a new product, so that is cool! I have a review of this product coming up, be on the look out!

Ellovi Body Scrub “Jasmine Rose” Sample size $7.50, Full size $22:

pvn2

I have heard a ton of fantastic things about the brand Ellovi. I am excited to finally be able to try one of their products, especially one that is in a scent that is right up my alley! The insert card says this is also a new product!

W3ll People Realist Invisible Setting Powder Sample size $1.50, Full size $22

pvn3

W3ll People is another brand that I have heard a multitude of great things about, but have never gotten to try for myself. Until now. This is just a translucent setting powder, but is also apparently new! I will be reviewing this product.

We Love Eyes Eyelid and Lash Make-up Remover Oil. Sample size $6, Full size $18:

pvn4

I am always up for trying different makeup removers. This doesn’t seem much different than a lot of serums that I have. Actually, the ingredients are almost identical. I think I am going to like this product a lot. It is a really good sample size for an eye makeup remover!

That is all for the November Petit Vour box! What do you think of these products? Comment below! You can also find me on Snapchat and Instagram as manda_janette

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box | November 2016

vcn

Vegan Cuts is 100% my favorite beauty box. Everything is cruelty free, vegan, and mostly very clean. I never have to worry about using want they send me, and I love that. You can not go wrong for $22.95 a month!

There are usually more than 4 products in the box, but two of the items are full sized and pretty pricey, so the lack of products this month is perfectly understandable!

This months box contains:

vcn1

Um, yes!! Another Red Apple Lipstick Lipstick! Sadly, it is in the shade “Rebel!”, which is the same shade I got in my Petit Vour box last month. 😦 But, with Christmas coming up, I am sure I can find a gift to pair this with for someone!

This lipstick is gluten, soy, and paraben free! This is the full size, and it costs a whoping $23.50!

vcn2

The Nubian Heritage Patchouli & Buriti bar soap. Ever since I got the revive bar soap, I have been addicted. There is just something about it that feels luxurious to me! I think this one smells really good, and I think you would agree if you like slightly earthy scents like I do. This bar values at $4.99, and yes, this is another full size!

vcn3

The DermOrganic intensive hair repair masque. I am not one to ever snub my nose at a hair masque. Especially one that is 70% organic and smells so nice. I am actually very interested in testing out this product, so you may or may not see a review on it popping up soon! This travel size values at $6.

vcn4

The NCLA Designer Nail Wraps in “Ashford White”. Aren’t these cool?! I am most definitely going to wear these to an up coming family wedding. I think marble nails will look classy AF.

These wraps cost a whole $16! I have heard a ton about how great NCLA is, but I think that is a bit pricey. That is also coming from someone who never does anything with their nails.

Over all this box is great! I truly love Vegan Cuts!

I hope you liked this un-boxing! Have you tried any of these products? What do you think of Vegan Cuts? What red apple lipstick lipstick shades should I try? Comment below! Want more B&T? Check out this older gem! You can also find me on Snapchat and Instagram as manda_janette
