Fortune Cookie Soap 2018 Easter Box | You. Are. A. Toy!

I love fortune cookie soap products. I have even been considering getting their monthly box. But, for now I am still just getting the “seasonal” boxes they come out with.

They did sadly cancel their seasonal subscription plan though, so you have to keep your eyes peeled for them!

This box is their Easter box, and it’s Toy Story themed! I love Toy Story, so I pre ordered this as soon as I got the email.

If my memory serves me right, this box was only around $15.

Pizza Planet OCD Hand Sanitizer

I love their hand sanitizer. They all have nice smells, a great alternative to the bath and body works ones. But, they weren’t as easy to access in a purse as the B&BW ones because they didn’t have a holder.

Now they do! It’s the same shape and size as the B&BW ones! I was really happy when I saw this. I can use my old holder on my purse now. I will be ordering more.

This specific one is meant to smell like cranberry muffins. Once it is rubbed into your hands, it definitely does.

Reach for the Sky Fortune Cookie Soap

I really like this soaps color. I think I am going to make a decoration with the fortune cookies soaps I own. Like people used to do with seashell soaps.

This soap has a scent that is a blend of cucumber, red apple, and citrus. It comes out as a spicier cucumber melon almost. It’s very nice.

Star Command Whipped Cream

The whipped creams are my favorite body butter. The scent last, they are very moisturizing, and they don’t bother my crazy sensitive skin.

This one is scented with watermelon and salt water taffy. This is the lotion I am taking with me to Cancun this weekend, the scent is perfect for my 6 days on the beach.

You’re my favorite deputy Solid Sugar Scrub

I have never tried a solid sugar scrub. I like the idea of it though, much less packaging waste.

The scent is made up of green apple, Madagascar vanilla, and pear. I was a bit hesitant with the scent at first, but after smelling it a few times it grew on me. The pear just throws me off a bit.

You’ve got a friend in me bath bomb

Sadly, I do not have a bath tub in my house. However, I do have a 10 year old sister and my dads house does have a bath tub. I am sure she will get a kick out of this!

It is scented with banana, Piña coladas, and nectarine.

Yee haw! Toilet bomb

I have never heard of a toilet bomb. I am very intrigued. Apparently you can use them to eliminate odor and for actual cleaning. Again, I really like the idea of this because it does reduce packaging waste.

The scent is meant to be of peach rings, jasmine, and tropical rain.

Play Nice Personal Space Spray

I literally just said I needed a new room spray, but I have trouble finding cruelty free ones. This may have just solved my problem. I am going to have to find out how much and how large the full sized product is.

This spray is scented with Mountain Dew lime pound cake. I’m not sure what that is, but the smell is nice.

Andy’s Toys perfume oil

I love these little perfume roller balls. The scent lingers for quite a while with this formula and you don’t need a done to make the scent noticeable.

It is supposed to smell like coconut milk, dead mist, and cyclamens. Is a nice almost fruity dessert scent.

That is it for the box. I am very happy with what was received and I need to place a larger order with them soon.

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box March 2018|A beautiful masterpiece

I really do enjoy Vegan Cuts. It is $25ish a month and you get 4-5 full or sample sized vegan, Cruelty Free, and usually clean beauty products.

Youth to People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins age prevention cleanser $4 Value

“Lightweight cleanser all-in-one makeup remover, face wash, and toner”

I have seen this brand around, but haven’t ever really heard anything about them. The ingredients seem great. I am going to give it a try and let you all know how it works out.

Karma Organic Nail Polish Remover Wipe $1 Value

“Made with soy bean oil and relaxing lavender “

I love little nail polish remover wipes like this for travel. I want some that work well. If these do I think I’ll order a whole box. I am going to be traveling a lot coming up!

Dr’s Remedy Nail Polish “Passion Purple” $17

The shade is pretty. I will probably wear it. I am sure if I don’t I have a friend who will. Can always toss it in with a gift 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cosmedica Skincare Rose Gold Serum $21.95

I wonder if this could be a dupe for that one super hyped serum in the pretty purple bottle! If this Serum makes your skin glow like it is meant to I am going to use it a ton this summer.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar Metallic “Synth” and lip tar brush $36

I am in to the Rose gold metallic lip thing. I thought I’d hate metallic lips, but I’m sort of ok with them. I also don’t think I’ve owned a single lip brush until now, so that’s nice.

I do love the shade. But, the application process just seems like such a hassle. I’ll try it, but I’m not sure how often I’ll actually use it.

That’s it for this months Box, I am not disappointed!!!

BoxyCharm March 2018 |Baecation

Cost $21 per month and is a box of deluxe to full sized beauty products.

Another month, another BoxyCharm. This months theme is Baecation. I feel like this is a more summer time theme, but it works for me. I am going to Cancun for the first time at the end of the month. This theme does get me even more excited for it.

Pür the Complexion Authority Pür X BoxyCharm palette $36

This Palette has a variety of shades and finishes. They are all very reminiscent of Summer.

It is very pretty! I will be doing some looks with this Palette to show it off to y’all. It is also cruelty free, gluten free, talc free, and vegan friendly!

First two rows:

Some really pretty more warm tones.

Last row:

Here are where the pops of color come in!

I am excited to give this baby a try.

Butter London Double Decker Lashes Mascara $20

I don’t think I have ever tried anything from Butter London, and I do love trying mascaras. I will have to update y’all once I do give it ago, but it seems promising.

South Mane Beauty Under Eye Gels $10

Who can’t use some awesome under eye gels!? With the time I have been having lately my under eyes have some massive bags under them. There are three sets in the box. I passed one off to my mom to try as well.

The Vintage Cosmetics Company Smoky Eye Essentials $23.15

I love that BC sends brush sets like this. I have accumulated a nice little collection. For some reason I am recalling that Vintage Cosmetics is not cruelty free, so I may be passing along this set to a friend.

Pretty Vulgar Make them Blush “Prim Vixen” $26

The packaging for Pretty Vulgar is so cute. But, this shade….

Why did they have to send such a bright blush. I hope this will work on my fair skin. It is awfully pigmented.

That is it for my BC! This is one of not so great ones. The blush is too bright and I may have to pass along the brushes.

What did you get in this months BoxyCharm?

Storybook Cosmetics Wizardry and Witchcraft Palette | Slytherin Green Look

I FINALLY GOT IT. As soon as I heard Storybook Cosmetics was on the Ulta website I ordered the palette. I couldn’t let it get away from me.

Storybook Cosmetics is a company started by three sisters and is Cruelty Free!

Slytherin is my house, so naturally I had to do a Slytherin Look first. It also works for St. Pat’s!

The Wizardry and Witchcraft palette retails for $55 and has 12 shades of multiple finishes.

The palette contains a very nice mirror, and let’s be honest this packing is precious. I comes in a super cute burgundy velvet bag and looks like a book. You could store it on a book shelf and it would blend right in!

The Shades

  • Broomstick
  • Sorcerer
  • Cloak

  • Potions
  • Prophecy
  • Salem

  • Merlin
  • Bewitched
  • Cauldron

  • Spell Books
  • Charms
  • Jinx

The Look

  • I primed my lids with my Manakadar Step One Eye Primer. I then set that with Wet N’ Wild ” Brûlée “.
  • I used a large fluffy brush and buffed the shade “Charms” onto my eye as the transition shade. I like the warm tone with the green shadows.
  • I used a regular crease brush to buff “Cloak” into the crease and on the lid some.
  • To deepen the outer crease I used a small dense crease brush to buff in “Broomstick “.
  • I used a shader brush and packed “Potions” all over my lid. I love this green.
  • To deepen my outer corner I layered on the shade “Cauldron”
  • I popped “Jinx” in the inner corner for a silver pop.
  • I highlighted my brow bone with the shade “Prophecy”.
  • REMEMBER TO BLEND WHEN NEEDED
  • For my wing I used the Ulta Fine Tip liner in black.
  • My mascara is Tarte Tarteist Mascara in Black.
  • I used Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion to line my tight and water lines.
  • REMEMBER TO BLEND WHEN NEEDED

  • For my lower lash line I placed “Potions” as close as I could get it to my waterline. Which is right in my water line, but I know not everyone can do so.
  • I blended that out with “Cloak”

Final Thoughts

Each shadow formula is fantastic. The softness, the pigment, how easy the shadows are to blend, all of it. I have no gripes! The only complaint I have is how bulky the packaging is, but I understand that is for the novelty of the product. If you are looking for a more neutral look, obviously this palette is not for you. If you are a literary fan I recommend checking out this brand.

🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 out of five top hats recommend this palette. I WILL be ordering more from Storybook Cosmetics!

Check them out on Ulta.com!

What book do you want to see made into a palette? I want The Great Gatsby and War of the Worlds!

Thank you so much for reading 💕💕

Goddess Provisions March 2018 | Tap into your body’s wisdom

I was very happy to come home today and find my Goddess Provisions Box on my bed. I had a fantastic experience with last months Box, so I was really looking forward to this one.

This months Box is centered all around Ayurvedic Wellness, and I am very intrigued. I have had some Ayurvedic products in Vegan Cuts boxes, so I have been interested in learning more for a while.

Monthly mantra: “I’m aligned in body, mind, and spirit.”

Idiots Guide to Ayurvedic By Sahara Rose $20

I can not wait to read this. I really want a better understanding of Ayurveda, and I believe this book will be very helpful.

Paavani Tridoshic Spritzer $12

“Aromatherapy mist for harmonizing all three sos has featuring lavender, geranium, and cedar.”

The scent is lovely and very calming. Once I learn more I am interested to see how well this product works.

Copper Cup Turmeric Latte $19

This latte mix is meant to reduce inflammation in the body.

I am not the biggest coffee fan, I prefer teas. But, my person loves coffee so I will probably have him give this a try.

Gonesh Sandalwood Incense Cones $2

I love the scent of sandalwood and I really enjoy burning incense. Sandalwood is a scent I find very relaxing, so I am sure I’ll get a ton of use out of these.

Copper Tongue Scraper $10

This instrument is meant to remove buildup and bacteria from your tongue. I have never heard of one of these, I am going to have to do a bit of research.

Balanced Guru Scalp Treatment $11.50

“Relax your mind and body with a gentle head massage using this scalp treatment that delivers nourishing Botanicals straight to your roots.”

I really like the idea of this product. I do get really bad eczema on my scalp though, so I am hoping this won’t cause a flare up if I try it.

Ahimsa Essentials Zen Oil Blend $13

This blend is made of lavender, peppermint, and bergamot. It smells fantastic. It is very close to the oil blend I have already been using and loving at night. I already know I am going to love this oil.

Carnelian $2

“Good for Pitta imbalance, this stone promotes self-empowerment, boosts will power, enhances vitality, and amplifies life force energy.”

This crystal seems like the perfect worry stone for work. I think I am going to place it on my desk and fidget with it when I become anxious or unmotivated. It is also just really nice to look at, I love the warm orange and brown tones.

That is it for this months GP box. I love everything and I am really glad a book was included! 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦 out of five pigeons!
