This months box is Breakfast Club themed!! And let me tell ya, everything smells amazing!

We’re All Pretty Bizarre Whipped Cream

With notes of pink jasmine, pineapple nectar, green apple and honeydew melon. It smells AMAZING, and I can’t wait to rotate it in my usage schedule.

Eat My Shorts Booty Scrub

With scents of warm amber, coconut milk, citrus and palm with a dark base of teakwood and musk. I’ll probably just use this all over the body. It smells too good to limit it to the booty.

Don’t Mess With the Bull Dry Shampoo

With notes of bergamot blossom, golden amber, and a sandalwood blend with peach nectar and whipped sugar. I am excited to give this a try, it’s a powder rather than an aerosol, so I’m curious to see how well it works.

What Ruckus!? Laundry scent booster

I have been wanting to test out a laundry scent booster, now is the perfect time. It’s an aromatic combination of floral and woodsy notes blend with rich, sweet. Patchouli and long lasting musk.

Sincerely Yours Shimmer Perfume

Yay! A perfume! A mix of ruby cassis, ripe pineapple, sweet rose blossoms and dewy fresh air. IT SMELLS SOO GOOD!

Saturday Detention Fortune Cookie Soap

A fruity floral blend is warmed with vanilla, amber, and smooth sandalwood.

It looks like a little chalk board!

Thoughts?

I love this months box! Not only is the theme one of my favorite movies, but each item smells wonderful! Everything is really practical and I just know I will get a ton of use out of everything.

Ipsy Glam Bag August 2023

I am backkkkkkkk! Things have been rough lately, but I figured it’s time to get back into my favorite hobby- makeup and beauty!

We are going to start our journey back into the beauty world with my August Ipsy Glam Bag reveal.

Mitchell and Peach Flora No.1 Body Soufflé (deluxe sample) full size $40

This body soufflé made my bag smell so fragrant! It contains vitamin E, Shea Butter, and honey. With notes of Rose, Lavender, and Violet.

I do love this scent. Lavender is probably my favorite fragrance and I can definitely smell it in the body soufflé.

Dew of the Gods Ultratonic Watermelon Extract Toner (deluxe sample) Full Size $32

I was just thinking about how I wanted to try more products from Dew of the Gods, so it’s crazy that this toner showed up in my bag!

The watermelon in the toner is meant to give your skin a glow. It also contains Hyaluronic acid, citrus extracts, and grape extracts. The toner helps to remove dead skin cells and soften and tone your skin.

The Beauty Crop Porefilter Pore Blurring Pressed Powder Fair 1 (deluxe sample) Full-size $15

This powder is light weight and talc free. It is supposed to make your skin matte and blur pores with its ultra fine texture.

Not the most exciting thing to get in an Ipsy bag, but I will use it nonetheless.

Ciaté London Dewy Blush Glossy Cheek Tint in Coconut (deluxe sample) Full-size $22

This shade ended up looking way different than I thought it would! I thought it was going to be more like the tube, thankfully it isn’t!

However, products like this aren’t really my thing. But, I do want to give it a try before I just disregard it.

Manna Kadar pH Balance Lip Balm $12

I love tinted lip balms. They are basically all I wear on my lips anymore. I was excited to see this in my bag! But, it does turn pretty pink, and pink isn’t exactly my color. I am going to give it a chance though, it does seem very moisturizing.

Thoughts?

I got more makeup in this Ipsy bag than I have been lately, so that makes me happy. However, I am not quite sure how much use I’ll get out of the blush and lip balm. I am pretty excited for the toner and body soufflé.
