Ipsy May 2018 | Go There

I love traveling. I work for a travel company, I travel any chance I get. I actually just got back from a little trip. My favorite places to visit are Montana and Colorado.

Where are your favorite places to visit?

As you can tell from this posts title, I caved and got Ipsy again. I get major FOMO, even for the bags themselves!

And this bag is super cute and travel themed, which is perfect for me. It isn’t as sturdy as bags in the past, but I will still find use for it.

Adesse NewYork Nail Polish “Oh, Cabana Boy” $18

The cost of the bag is already covered and then some! This nail color is very pretty, perfect for summer. Not only is it cruelty free, but it is 12 free which is fantastic. I cannot wait to put it on my toes, it is going to make my sunflower tattoo pop!

Tony Moly Painting Therapy Pack $6.50 for the set of I believe 5

The masks come in different colors, this one is black. It is meant for sebum control, which is very nice for the summer. HOWEVER, I do not believe Tony Moly is Cruelty Free, so I am going to pass it on to a friend.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Setting Powder $33 full size

This is a powder I already know and absolutely love! It works amazing and is so smooth. I don’t think I have ever disliked something from Tarte. I am always happy for see them in subscription boxes.

Elizabeth Mott Pop! Goes the Shadow “Mermaid Teal” $13

I always love getting these single shadow pans, I’m not even sure why. It’s not like I reach for them a ton. This is my first time really experiencing Elizabeth Mott, and I see that they are Cruelty Free!

I am not sure that this shadow is pigmented enough to be $13, but maybe my swatch is just crappy. I will have to do a look with it.

Touch in Sol Style Sepia Liner “Jardin” $17 for the full-size

I think this shade will make my green eyes pop. I am not sure how I feel about the crushed diamonds in it though.

The pencil is very smooth, I just could never see my self spending $17 on a pencil eyeliner.

That’s it for my Ipsy bag! I am pretty happy with it considering it is only $10! What was in your Ipsy bag? What products would you like to see reviewed??

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box | Blossoming Beauty

Hi guys.

It is storming so bad here. I wish it would storm at night rather than during the day. I love stormy nights. Stormy days just make me want to be lazy and sleep all day.

Which is why I am doing another unboxing rather than one of the other posts I had planned.

Akar Skin Duo $17

This little duo came in the cutest bubble wrap, it’s baby pink and the bubbles are hearts.

The larger sample is a toning mist and the smaller one is an eye serum. I have never tried anything from this brand so I am very intrigued. Especially in the eye serum.

Anointment Natural Skincare Rose Toner $7.50

This little toner has rose hydrosol and witch hazel. I am excited to try it, I love spray toners.

Dirty Lamb Coffee Scrub $12

This is the cutest thing. I love lambs! The scrubs smells just like coffee. Body scrubs are some of my favorite things. I can’t wait to give it a try.

Franklin and Whitman Face Mask $24.95

I need to start using these powder masks more, I am really starting to pile them up. This one is made with raw cacao, tumeric, and activated charcoal. It sounds super cleansing.

Glamour Doll Makeup Black Gel liner $2.99

You can’t use a black liner that is inexpensive, cruelty free and vegan? The only glamour doll makeup products that I have tried are the Lisa Frank ones so I am excited to try more.

That is this months Box. A ton of awesome products!!!

What is your favorite Glamour Dolls Makeup item?

BoxyCharm May 2018| Boxy Bash

Hi everyone!

My boyfriends birthday was yesterday, so we all went to a newer restaurant. This place smelt like mildew and it was hotter inside than outside. BUT, they had fantastic sweet tea.

This month is not just my persons birth month, but it is BoxyCharms birth month!

For their birth month celebration they included an extra product in the box, which is always exciting.

Pur Sculptor palette $30

One product down and it always has covered the cost of the box, plus some. I love palettes that have all, in this case most, of the face powders I need. So much easier for travel. Especially when they have a nice mirror like this one does.

I think the shades may be too dark for my slime time right now. But, I will have to try them to see. The highlighters and bronzers are all very pigmented and buttery. I think they would make great shadows as well.

Cover FX Blurring Primer $38

I have really been wanting to try more products from Cover FX. I have also wanted to purchase a nicer primer. I am very glad that I got this in my BoxyCharm, saved me a bit of money!

Pretty Vulgar The Ink Gel Liner “Black List” $24

The packaging for of this gel liner is magnificent. However, I rarely use liners in this format. I just haven’t gotten the hang of it.

The liner itself is extremely smooth and pigmented. I may actually be able to work with this. If not it is going to be a decoration piece because of the packaging.

Aesthetica 3 Piece Eye Trio $45

I have never heard of this brand before. I am always intrigued when I am introduced to new brands, I will have to learn a bit more about them. These brush seem to be of good quality. The angled brush will make a great eyebrow brush I think. I will have to try the liner brush with my new gel liner.

Aesthetica P12 Face Brush $27

This brush seems nicely made as well. The hairs are very soft and the rest of the brush feels sturdy. I think this brush will be nice for blush or bronzer. I love getting brushes.

Han Skin Care Lip Gloss “Raspberry Chardonnay ” $15

I am not a huge lip gloss person. This one is a pretty color though and looks opaque. If I don’t get use out of it rather soon I may pass it on to a friend who likes glosses more than I do. I just don’t like that they are messy because they don’t dry down. Glosses always end up on my teeth.

I wish this was a liquid lip or a lip pencil, the shade is one that I enjoy.

That is it for my box! For $21 I got a box valued at $179 😯😯😯😯. I not hate any of the products. I may not get use out of the Gloss, and I need to learn how to learn the liner, but over all I am ecstatic with what I received.

What was in your Boxy Charm? What products would you like to see reviewed?

FCS OTM Club | The Force

Hi guys!

I love Star Wars, like. A lot! I have for as long as I can remember. My dad and step mom are mega fans. On Christmas we have two Star Wars trees in our family room, which is already decked out in Star Wars memorabilia.

If some how you haven’t managed to guess the theme of this Fortune Cookie Soap OTM Box (May 2018) ITS FRICKING STAR WARS!!!

*This Box is $28 a month plus S&H. You get full a deluxe sample sized products that are exclusive or haven’t launched! Everything is Cruelty Free 🖤*

This is my first FCS monthly box, so I am very excited to talk about it. I considered doing a YouTube video, but I am waiting for a thing to take progress before I actually being messing with YouTube again…

Sky Walker Spray Lotion $9.99

You spray this lotion on after you shower. You are supposed to rub it in quickly, sense it absorbs rather quickly.

I have never tried a spray lotion before, so this is a new type of product for me. The lotion is scented with ” sugar coated lemon, mango sorbet, and tea leaves.”

It smells fantastic.

Rebel Princess Restorative Hair Mask $19.99

I am always in need of a good hair mask. You are supposed to shampoo your hair, towel dry it, apply the mask and leave on for 5-7 minuets, wash out, then condition as normal.

I am excited to give this mask a go, my hair has been a joke lately.

It is scented with red grapefruit, orange blossoms, and “crisp Alderaanian ozone” lol.

Beautiful.

The Droids You’re Looking For OCD Hand Sanitizer $2.89 Lotion $3.99

The hand sanitizer is gold and the lotion is blue. That’s a super cute touch. Both smell amazing and are definitely going in my bag.

Scented with key lime, cilantro, avocado, pear nectar, coconut milk, and sandalwood.

It is a lovely scent!

The Dark Side Red Clay Face Mask $14.95

I am giving this mask a try tonight, so a review should be up soon!

You leave the mask on for ten minuets and then massage it in. We will discuss it in depths soon!

Hidden Rebel Base Room & Fabric Spray $8.99

The scent of this room spray is fantastic and very long lasting! I spray my closet with room spray and have been using a different one for FCS. But, I think this is my new favorite smell!!!

It is scented with sea salt air, cyclamen flower, and black plum.

I need everything in my life to smell like a hidden rebel base now.

Smuggler Sugar and Spice Body Polish $15.95

I am all about a good sugar scrub, and I have never tried one from FCS. There is a little scoop in the bag to help you get the product out of the gold sealable bag.

It is scented with cardamom, pistachio, buttercream, and rose water. It sounds delightful!

The total value of the box is $76.75. This is an awesome value! I will be getting use out of every product in the box. I definitely recommend giving this subscription a try or at least checking out Fortune Cookie Soap. 🖤

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Goddess Provisions May 2018 | I can, I feel, I am

Welcome to my blog!

I have become obsessed with The Last Podcast On The Left. I listen to it all day while I work. If you aren’t easily offended and are really in to creepy things and serial killers, you should definitely give it a listen! I listen to them on Spotify. I fits my sense of humor really well, I think it’s hilarious.

On a completely different note, my May Goddess Provisions box arrived!

This months mantra is: “I’m made and one with earth energy.”

It seems that everything in the box is focused on the Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus. This month we also got a code to use for a free ebook download from The Sisterhood Moon all about the lower chakras.

Violet Gray Solar Plexus Charm $39

This Charm is meant to be worn on a necklace or bracelet to help you connect to your inner power and self confidence.

The solar plexus charm is very cute. It’s neat to get a rather pricey little Charm. I would love some more self confidence, I think I will place this Charm on the choker necklace I wear everyday.

Kailo Solar Plexus Essence $42

“Apply this essential oil blend infused with citrine, the color yellow, sounds and affirmations to clear blockages and energize the Solar Plexus.”

The scent of the essential oil is rather citrusy and invigorating. I think this will be a good oil to take to work, that way I can apply it when I start to feel like I can’t finish everything.

Citrine $4

This stone energizes the Solar Plexus and sacral chakras. Carry it to connect with your personal power and creativity. “

I actually have another citrine stone that sits in the pot of my other cactus to give it the self confidence to grow. I may put this one with one of my succulents as well. Or, I may carry it on my person to help boost my confidence and creativity!

Liliac and Willow Candle $12

“Light this beautiful sky candle dressed with flowers and cedar and let the essential oil blend bring you into your body.”

This blood orange and patchouli candle is beautiful and smells fantastic! I love this little tin candles I have gotten.

Soapylayne Massage Balm $26

This foot rub is infused with ginger, cyress, vetiver, and patchouli. It also has to little stones in it, but I am not too sure what they are or what purpose they serve. I also assume you could use this balm to massage parts of the body that are the feet. But, if you do use it on your feet it will go great with the last product.

Little Moon Essentials Foot Bath $5.50

*use the code goddess10 for 10% off at littlemoonessentials.com until 5/31/18*

I am so excited to have a good soak. Wearing heels at work really kills my feet, so this soak is going to come in handy. I usually wouldn’t go for a peppermint scent, but in this case I think it will be really cooling and calming on my aching feet.

That is it for this months Box. I am really happy with everything! I love being delivered crystals and aromatherapy items each month. Learning about and making use of everything really has helped to calm my head space and surroundings.

Violet Voss Hashtag Palette | Look and Review

Welcome!

Post tidbit:

Recently I have been obsessed with succulents. I have a cute little collection going. I paint mason jars and old candle jars to put them in and they sit right by all my crystals!

Not only am I obsessed with succulents, but I am OBSESSED with Violet Voss eyeshadows. When I saw their warm/cranberry palette named “Hashtag” I had to have it.

The palette contains 20 shades in various finishes and an awesome mirror.

It retails for $45 and can be purchased Here.

The pans in Violet Voss palettes are nicely sized. The layout of the shadows is very ascetically pleasing!

Swatches:

• Fresh – White matte

• Sauce – Nude matte

• Savage – Pale peach matte

• G.O.A.T – Dusty pink matte

• ILY – Black matte

• Truth – Golden shimmer

• Lady Boss – Champagne shimmer

• No Filter – Deep golden shimmer

• Throwback – Orange shimmer

• Lit – Bronze shimmer

• Vacay – Rose gold shimmer

• Goals – Orange matte

• FOMO – Light pink shimmer

• Low-Key – Pink toned brown shimmer

• Living – Pink purple shimmer

• Sunset – Purple matte

• Relevant – Purple shimmer

• TBT – Plum matte

• Petty AF – Deep purple shimmer

• Life – Indigo matte

The Look:

*I apologize for the font change. When I copied the shade description from beautybay.com the font messed up.**

  • I primed my eyes with the NYX Glitter Primer. I set it with the shade “Fresh”.
  • I took a fluffy crease brush and used the shade “Sauce” as my transition.
  • I did the same thing with the shade “Savage”.
  • And again with the shade “goals” but with a bit of a smaller brush. I also put it on the inner and outer corners of my lid.
  • I went over “Goals” with “TBT” And also concentrated it more in my crease.
  • I then popped the shade “Relevant” in the center.
  • “Relevant” didn’t give me enough of a pop so I placed “Truth” on top of it.

  • Under my eyes I placed “TBT” as close as I could to my water line.
  • I blended that out with “Savage”
  • And then blended again with “Sauce”.
  • I popped “Truth” into the inner corner.

Final Thoughts:

I love it! This palette is fantastic. Violet Voss has probably my favorite shadow formula. If you are into cranberry and warm shades I would say that the Hashtag palette is very much so worth the $45. The shadows are infused with jojoba oil, so your lids are getting some special treatment! They are also made with out parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠 out of five fish. I highly recommend this palette!

ColourPop “You Had Me At Hello” | Look and Review

Hello everyone, welcome!

Today, at work we moved into our new office building. Out side my office window there were baby geese, baby deer, and baby rabbits all along with their parents. I love spring! Seeing things like that helps to remind me why I choose to live a cruelty free life!

Speaking of cruelty free, it is no secret that I love the brand ColourPop. If you saw my April BoxyCharm, then you know I got a ColourPop palette I have never tried before. The “You Had Me At Hello” palette!

The palette retails for $18 on ColourPop.com and has 12 shades, sturdy packaging, and has a great mirror.

The shades come in a variety of finishes and are very on par with recent trends. Warm and mauvey!

Let’s go through the shades.

Row 1

The Knot: metallic cool-toned ivory

Moon Struck: metallic soft gold

Two Peas: matte peachy beige

Candygram: metallic pinky red with gold duochrome

Row 2

Winning Ticket: matte dusty mauve pink

FBO: metallic pink violet

Look-See: matte cool-toned plum

Fool’s Rush: metallic golden bronze

Row 3

Pulling Strings: matte warm saddle brown

Want U Back: matte dusty mauve brown

DTR: metallic silvery taupe

Sparks Fly: matte deep plummy brown

*I apologize if there is a strange font change, I copied the color descriptions from ColourPop to make sure they were accurate and it changed my font. Which I can’t fix it😩😩😩

The Look

  • I primed my eyes with the Wet N’ Wild Photofocus Eye Primer. How does ColourPop not have their own Primer!?
  • I set the Primer with a skin tone shade. Unfortunately this palette does not have a matte ivory shade, but that’s fine I have 1284729 of them! And my favorite is a 99 cent single so. 💁‍♀️
  • I used a large fluffy crease brush and started in the middle of my crease, then going outwards I buffed in the shade “Two Peas”.
  • Then using the ColourPop blender brush I did the same thing with the shade “Pulling Strings” just more concentrated.
  • Using a Luxie 237 brush I did the same thing again with the shade “Sparks Fly”, just even MORE concentrated.
  • All over the lid I packed on the shade “DTR” with the ELF C Shadow brush. No fix plus needed!
  • I then used the ColourPop packing brush and in the very center popped on the shade “MoonStruck.”
  • I right lined with a brown liner
  • Oh yeah, don’t for get to BLEND!!

  • I popped the shade “The Knot” in my inner corner.
  • I lined my water line with a nude line and packed on the shade “Look-See” as close as I could to my water line.
  • I blended that out with “Two Peas”.
  • Mascara the lashes!

Over all thoughts

I love this palette!! It is my new go to. The shades are all pigmented and so buttery. The only flaw is the lack of a matte cream shade, but that isn’t a big deal. “You Had Me At Hello” is Cruelty Free, beautiful, inexpensive, and easy to work with. What more could I want!?

🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥 out of five baby geese! Get you hands on this palette, you won’t regret it!!
