A Skin Care Favorite | Wander Beauty Lift Off Purifying and Brightening Peel Off Mask

Has I have mentioned, way too much, my motivation has been non-existent. While it is starting to come back, at least half the days out of the week brushing my hair alone feels like the hardest thing in the world.

I suffer from Bi-polar disorder, PTSD, Boarder line Personality Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety. Sometimes it is too much. I shut down. I disassociate. I lock myself away. I make myself go to work, so everything else is too daunting. It’s too much stimulation and interaction.

But, a twinge will hit me- I need to do something to help. I need to try. And my favorite simple way to at least make myself feel like I tried is peel off face masks.

You smooth it on your face and then in 30 minuets, or once try, you just peel it off.

But, there are a few reasons why the Wander Beauty Lift Off Peel Off Mask is my favorite.

Let’s just start with the most basic thing about this product. How it looks

It’s a shiny rose gold. Just looking at it makes me feel, I suppose more at peace in a sense? I am a very visual person. Which is why I love makeup SO MUCH.

Another thing I really like about the Lift Off Mask is the ingredients that it does not contain.

  • Mineral oils
  • Parabens
  • Phthalates
  • Synthetic Fragrance
  • Gluten

This Mask is also cruelty free and vegan!

But, do the claims and $34 price tag hold up?

Yes!

After use my over all complexion looks and feel better. My skin has a glow to it.

This Mask also draws acne and black heads to a head. Place and acne treatment on them after use of the mask and they clear up like that.

It is crazy to me what something so simple as a face mask can do for my over all mental health, even if it is only for a little bit.

My Recent Makeup Favorites | Cruelty Free and mostly inexpensive!

It has been ages since I have shared my current favorite makeup products.

Now seemed to be as good a time as ever!

Omitting two products, all of the products are in the drugstore price range, and all are cruelty free!

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Blur Primer $8 Here

Not only do I use this primer to improve the look of my pores, but I love using this primer all over my face.

It minimizes the look of my pores in my problem areas, but always helps to create a blank canvas on the rest of my face.

Kokie Be Bright Illuminating Concealer “Light” $8 Here.

I believe that I received this product in a past Ipsy bag, and I am glad I did!

The shade allows me to cover spots, and the illuminating properties also make it great for the under eye area, with out creasing!

Too Faced Peach Perfect Foundation “Snow” $36 Here

To be completely candid, I HATED this foundation at first. But, with recent medical and medicine changes, my skin has gotten more oily than it ever has been.

Now, I am in love. It lasts through out my work day and actually seems to control oil as it claims.

Well worth the $36 price tag!

I 🖤 Revolution “Rose Gold Glow” $7 Here

I was attracted to this product at first due to the packaging. It is a pink and rose gold chocolate bar! But it really is the product that gets me.

Inside the compact you have a nice mirror, the packaging is sturdy. For $7 these highlights are fantastic! They won’t blind you from space, but they are more than subtle.

On the face, both shades work with my light complexion.

I 🖤 Revolution “Bronze and Glow” $7 Here

Have I mentioned I am obsessed with bronzer lately? Because I really am.

The packaging for this product has all the perks as the “Rose Gold Glow” duo does…

But, with the benefits of a matte bronzer! The shade of this bronzer is perfect for my skin tone, and so is the highlight!

Did I mention that this particular duo also smells faintly like chocolate?

Hard Candy Plumping Serum Volumizing Lip Gloss “Pink Cadillac” $6 Here

The shade itself is a super light pink. It does not show up on my lips, but this is what I want for how I use it! On no makeup or light makeup days, I love this gloss to give my lives a little life and plumpness.

The gloss does make my lips a bit fuller, but it doesn’t make them tingle or burn like I have found other plumping glosses to. The smell is not over powering, and it isn’t as stick has I find other glosses to be!

Black Moon Liquid Lipstick “Warrior” $18 Here

The formula is long lasting and comfortable. It’s so comfortable that it’s easy to forget that you even have lipstick on!

The shade “Warrior” itself is a pretty dusty nude, that leans pink. It looks more mauve in the tube than it applies on me. But, I think the shade that it does come out as is stunning.

Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lip “Sueno De Coco” $7 Here

This liquid lip is part of the Colour Pop and I Luv Sarahii collaboration.

It is the typical Colour Pop Ultra matte formula, which I really enjoy. In fact, I really like all over the Colour Pop liquid formulas!

The shade is a ready nude and I am obsessed with it. This is probably the lip product that I have been wearing the moss recently.

Here are the products all on my face! For my lips I went with “Warrior”. And yes, that is the lighter highlight from the “Rose Gold Glow” popping in my inner corner!

Now I want to know, what are your recent Cruelty Free favorites?

Breaking News: Wet N’ Wild is no longer Logical Harmony Approved!

I had another post planned today, but in light of recent news, I thought that this update was an important piece of news to share.

It appears that beloved brand Wet N’ Wild has been selling in stores in main land China despite claiming to be cruelty free.

What does this mean? This means that by Logical Harmony standards Wet N’ Wild is NOT cruelty free.

Why? When selling in store in main land China, brands subject them selves to post market testing. Meaning, at any time the government can pull the products from shelves, with out alerting the brand, for animal testing.

For more updates and more of an explanation, please watch the latest logical harmony video on YouTube. Here!

For a complete list of Cruelty Brands please visit The official Logical Harmony website

The image above is my collection of Wet N Wild makeup. What is used I will be passing on to family and friends. What is not I will be donating to a local women’s shelter.

Other brands to try:

Jordana

ELF

Makeup Revolution

Milani

My First Ipsy Glam Bag Plus!

Hitting you with double Ipsy un-boxing’s to makeup for my missed months!

I finally was able to subscribe to glam bag plus!!!!

It is $25 a month and you get 5-6 full size beauty and makeup items.

First, my add ons!

I love that Ipsy does add ons now! You can find some really awesome things for much less than retail value. They have even had those mini Huda palettes for like $12!

This months I picked…

Smashbox Cover Shot Major Metals

This one was $12, again much less than retail value. I have wanted to try Smashbox Shadows for ages, but never picked any up. I decided to take the chance, while I could get one for a cheaper price. This one is all metallic, and primarily warm toned. I am excited to give it a go!

Lovecraft Beauty Bronzer Palette

Another $12 add on! I have a weird bronzer addiction lately, so I couldn’t pass up a trio in such cute packaging. Love craft beauty is also cruelty free! The formula is really soft, and with three different shades, this palette can be used all year long.

Now to the actually box…

IL Makiage Icon High Volume and Intense Curl Mascara “Black” $25

One product down and the box is already paid for!

I have heard a ton about IL Makiage as a brand, so it is exciting to see something from them in an Ipsy Box. Hopefully the Mascara lives up to its “Iconic” name.

Is this brand CF?

GlamGlow Bubble Sheet Masks 3 for $27

This Mask is meant to be deep cleaning, so I am for it. But, Glam Glow is not CF to my knowledge, so I may end up passing these a long.

Illamasqua Lip Coloring Pencil Duo “Media and Lust” $21 each

Media is a more pink shade and Lust is a more red shade.

I have been getting a lot of Illamasqua in boxes lately!

Wander Beauty Wandress Seascape Escape Palette $25

I have a few things for Wander Beauty that I really enjoy, so I am excited to try this palette. I do believe that this is a newer product for them as well.

The formula is a little strange, so I am curious to see how it wears. The color scheme definitely reminds me of the beach! There is not a true matte shade. The one that appears matte has shimmer in it.

Yensa Tone Up Primer Essential Glow $35

I am really curious about this primer. It is full of good ingredients, and missing a lot of bad ones. It is also cruelty free.

My first Glam Bag Plus’s was definitely a good one and I am excited to see what the coming months bring!

Would you like to see any of these products reviewed?!

Ipsy Glam Bag | May 2019 Un-Bagging

I think this is my first Ipsy post in three months!

I definitely got the last two bags, just my motivation to post, much less play with makeup, was non-existent.

But, my motivation is starting to come back, so we are starting with unboxing, hopefully soon I can get back into reviews!

In this months bag I got…

First! Let me start by saying, the bag is super cute, but the glitter does come off.

Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara, deluxe sample

This is the size you can buy for like $12 at Sephora and Ulta. I honestly prefer the little mascara sizes. You can use them up before they go bad.

However, Benefit is not cruelty free. But, I am going to throw this in a gift for a friend, so not a total loss.

SL Miss Glam SS 57 Blending Brush

This Brush is super cute and soft. I have already used it and it helped to blend the shadows I used nicely.

Naisture Charcoal 3 Step Nose Pack

So, if any one knows anything about this brands cruelty free status PLEASE let me know! Their products are paraben and silicon free, which is awesome!

I got two in the bag, and I used one. I really liked it! It was a longer process than just a normal nose strip, but it was worth it! My nose looked much more clear!

INMO Velveteen Dream Eyeshadow in Super Bass

This shadow is a pretty pink shade. I have a Zpalette on the way to me, so it will be deported and placed in there.

I think Super Bass will make a really pretty all over lid shade.

Pixi By Petra Endless Silky Eyepen in Copper Glow

I love Brown and Copper eye liner, it really makes my hazel eyes pop.

The formula is super soft! I have used it and it does not tug on the eyes at all.

That is all for my Ipsy bag! Not too bad for only $10! Definitely will use, and have used, everything but the mascara.

What was in your Ipsy bag?

BoxyCharm May 2019 |Un-Boxing

I have been super MIA on all platforms. I am hoping I can start getting back to what I love- playing with a writing about makeup and beauty products.

Life can be a struggle, but as it is slowly getting back on track, so will I.

Let’s move on and dive right in to the BoxyCharm Make Waves Box for May 2019!

Glam Glow Gentle Bubble Cleanser $28

I’ll never say no to an expensive face wash! I don’t believe that I have ever tried anything from Glam Glow, so this product will be my first introduction to the brand.

I do like that there is no added fragrance. The packaging is also super cute.

Alamar Colorete Blush Trio “Medium Tan” $22

We got the first Alamar eyeshadow palette from BoxyCharm ages ago, and it is beautiful! We also got a trio of their eye brushes, which I use all the time! Now, a blush palette.

The shades are all really pretty! I do wish I would have gotten the light trio, but these shades will work for me as long as I don’t get crazy.

The pigmentation is wonderful and the formula is SUPER buttery.

Ciate London Eye Luster Creme Eyeshadow “Cupid” $22

I am not the biggest fan of cream shadow, but this shade is really pretty. It is a light purple pink that shifts gold and it is going to be stunning all of the lid or in the inner corner.

Steve Laurant Lip Glass “Posh” $22

I have been way more in to glosses lately, and this shade is right up my alley. It’s pigmented and doesn’t have a real smell.

I do have a serious question…Have any of you seen this brand or heard of it, out side of subscription boxes?

Vintage Cashmere Lip Pencil “Mocha” $21

For a Pencil lip liner, this little dude is creamy! It is also the perfect shade to match most of my go to lip shades.

BoxyCharm really gave us our money’s worth this month! For $21 we got $115 and nothing in the box was a dud for me!

What was in your May BoxyCharm?
