Lauren B Beauty Nail Couture ” South of the BLVD.” *new* $18:

I have heard a ton of fantastic things about this brand, but have never tried a polish my self. As soon as I try it out I will update you. Not exactly a shade I love to be honest, but I will grim and bare it to teat the formula.

Evolvh Ultra shine Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner $17:

I have heard many a green beauty blogger raving about this expensive hair washing set, I have seen them appear in boxes in the past. Now, I finally get to try them!! I am hoping they will work as well as I think they will.Oh, did I mention they smell like warm vanilla sugar?!

Blissoma Tonique $32 fullsize

I have needed another toner badly. My ever clen is almost gone, and it was time to get something new. Insert this guy. Not only is it cruelty free, vegan, and natural it was made in St. Louis, MO. Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet | January 2017

The time has come to unbox the January 2017 Vanishing Cabinet. “Come up and try my new parts” is the theme. It is based off a horror themed rock opera, that I have never heard of, but now need to see!

The first thing is what I think I am most excited for, a Changeling Top Coat in the shade “Zydrate” . I love the other Changelings that I have, so I am expecting to fall for this irridecent blue.

There are also three shadows in the “cabinet”…

  • Grave robber
  • I’ll keep those vultures guessing
  • I look like a crime scene, dad.

I love the shade paring this month. Very excited to do a look with them!

Lastly, is a beautiful lavender highlight

It is the shade “I thought I’d seen a ghost”. I love it! It’s stunning.

This month was for sure a hit. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed! What did you think of this months cabinet?what do I need from notoriously morbid? Comment below!

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box | January 2017

Corresponding Video!!

I am really happy with this months box. Let’s just get in to it, because I am pretty excited about it.

Clairsea Sea Salt Solutions $5 Value:

I have tried a different scrub from them and I really like it. I am really excited to try a different one!

Enfusia Muscle Soothing Bath Bomb $1.50 value:

I have had a different bath bomb from this brand, and from what I can remember I really enjoyed it. I spend like 12 hours on my feet at most days at work. Not good on a bad bad ankle, will probably make use of this soon.

Stinkbug Naturals Tangerine and Clove Deodorant $2.99 value:

I am trying like a champ to find a natural deodorant that works for me, so getting this sample really made me happy. It also smells really good. Wouldn’t mind my pits smelling like tangerine.

Goddess Gardens Organics Eye Cream $17.99 value:

I have a really strange eye cream obsession lately. I got so use to using one when I was trying to use up a sample, that now if I don’t use one I think it is noticible. Glad I get to try an organic one, especially since my eye cream for night kicked the dust last night.

Briogeo Rosarco Leave in Conditioning Spray value $9:

I mcfricken love this brand! I have wanted to try this product so badly and now I can! It smells amazing, I used it tonight and it worked like a charm.

Jersey Shore Cosmetics Tinted lip and cheek balm value $30

No part of me believes this is $30, but it is what the card says. It is a pretty shade and seems like it will be moisturizing.

I hope you enjoyed this post, thank you for reading! What did you think of this months box and products? Any products from these brands I need to try? Comment below!

Boxy Charm Un-Boxing | January 2017

bcj

*Boxy Charm is $21 a month, and contains full and sample sized beauty products.*

Corresponding Video!

This months theme was “The charm award goes to…”, makes sense, because it is award season on T.V. I don’t watch them, but who cares.

Crown Brush Soft Fan Brush $12.99:

The first product is a fan brush from crown brush. It feels pretty soft, and I was in need of a new fan brush. I always love getting brushes in these boxes!

Oscaar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo, Full-Size $23:

Holy crap! I have always wanted to try one of these dry shampoos, but there is now way I would shell out that kind of money! Now, I can, with out feeling guilty. I am really hoping this lives up to my expectations.

Adesse Ultra Suede Matte Top Coat $18:

I have only tried a matte top coat from Sally Hensen, so I am hoping this one is much better quality than that one. This top coat is also supposed to be made with organic ingredients, which is great!

PUR Chateau Cheek Stain “Peach Belline” $26:

bcj1

I really do not think with shade will look good on me. I guess I will have to try it out to see.

It is a really soft gel like formula, and the brush actually sheers it off nicely! I may have to update you all on this.

Vintage Highlighter Double “Chocolate diamonds\ Rose Quartz” $35:

bcj2

This is the second, and third I guess, highlight that I have tried from this brand. The other one is fantastic, so I hope this one is as well. A bit concerned it may not work as a highlight for me and I will have to find an alternative use. I have pretty fair skin.

That is it for this months boxy charm! I hope you enjoyed, thanks for reading. When the corresponding video is up, I will link it! What was in your boxy charm?

Page Ashbury Facial Mositurizer FT. Jasmine and Neroli | Skincare Review

page-ashbury

Long time no blog. Life has been, not at all hectic. But, just hard to explain. My thoughts on where I am at life have been complicated. To try to take my mind of it all for a few minuets, I decided to finally review this moisturizer that I got in my Vegan Cuts beauty box a few months back.

This sample lasted me ages!

Full-size cost, $25.

From the site:

“A rejuvenating moisturizer fortified with Aloe Vera and botanical extracts and essential oils of Jasmine and Neroli. Light and uplighting scent with a light texture; perfect for everyday wear. Non-comedogenic. Suitable for all skin-types. “

Ingredients:

  • Deionized Water,

    Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice,

    Glyceryl Stearate,

    Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil,

    Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil,

    Glycerin,

    Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride,

    Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter),

    Stearic acid,

    Coco-Caprylate,

    Tocopherol (Vitamin E),

    Cetyl Alcohol,

    Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol,

    Jasminum grandiflorum,

    Petitgrain bigarade (Petitgrain Essential Oil),

Citrus aurantium amara (Neroli Essential Oil)

When you pan over the ingredients on the site they tell you exactly what it is!!

My thoughts and experience:

The scent is fantastic, not too energizing but it also doesn’t make me think of sleep. So it was perfect for day and night. The consistency wasn’t really thick or runny, it is the perfect middle ground. I was so sad to see this moisturizer go, I honestly loved it. I whole heartily believe that it is worth the $25, and plan to purchase it once I go through some of the other moisturizers that I currently have. I really need to do a skin care and sample purge.

A fantastic clean and vegan beauty product, that I think would work great for any skin type. I have very sensitive and dry skin, and it was amazing for me. However, it is not oily or greasy, so I also think this would be superb for other skin types as well.

Pick it up, here!

Thank you for stopping by and reading this little review. I know it wasn’t anything spectacular, I have a lot on my mind. Have you tried anything from this brand? What is your fave facial moisturizer? Comment below!

One of my new years resolutions was to stop being such a big baby and just do things that I want. This included making Youtube videos. I decided to make my first one about a company that is dear to me. It is not makeup related like what I will usually be doing. But, it would still mean the world to me if you would check it out, subscribe, and thumbs it up!

Adorn Cosmetics Hydrating Cream Foundation | Sample Series

creamfoundationrefill_dsc0203_240x240

*I only had a small sample jar of this product, so can not speak for very long extended use, but I did have quite a large sample, so I tried it for a few weeks.*

Adorn Minerals is a cruelty free, vegan, and natural brand out of Australia. I have tried one other product from them, but for this post, we are going to focus on their hydrating cream foundation.

It comes it five shades, I had the shade “Fair”. It was a fantastic match.

Price:

I can only find the refill for this product now listed on their site. It retails for $55.

Ingredients:

“Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Mica (CI 77019), Zinc Oxide (CI 77947), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Zea Mays, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit*, Polyglyceryl Oleate, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Tocopherol, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, may contain (+/-) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ultramarines (CI 77007)

*Denotes a Certified Organic Ingredient

Our Australian made, cruelty free cosmetics are NOT tested on animals, and are made from pure earth minerals & organic plant ingredients.

They are also:

– Palm & Mineral Oil free
– Paraben & Petrochemical free
– Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate free
– Gluten free
– Nano particle free
– Free from fillers such as Talc, Rice Powder, Clay or Itchy Bismuth
– Free from synthetic fragrance and colours”

My experience/ thoughts:

I actually love this foundation. I have dry skin, so it felt very nice and didn’t cause my skin to look or feel cakey through out the day. However, it did make my skin look very oily as the day went on, so I recommend setting it. At least in areas that you develop some oil.

I really enjoyed using this product as a concealer, sense it has such good coverage. It also works fantastic as an eye shadow base. It cancels out discoloration and prevents creasing. They actually suggest using it as a shadow base as well as a foundation. I believe I saw this on my Petit Vour card, which is why I tried it.

Will I purchase?

After I use up some foundations and can find it with the packaging, or a way to store the refill pan; absolutely! This is a fantastic foundation.

Here is what it looks like on the skin, for a reference picture.

The Up-Side Down Collection | Notoriously Morbid

Did anyone else fall in love with the show Stranger Things? Because, I did, so when I saw one of my favorite brands was coming out with a collection based on it, I had to have it.

The collection features five shadows and one liquid lipstick.

  • WWBD? The only matte, but is an amazing warm crease shade.
  • Friends don’t lie. A pink with a gold shift and shimmer.
  • Coffee and contemplation. A bronze with an almost burgundy shift.
  • Should I stay?  A deep purple with a navy shift.
  • Right here. A champagne shade with a lot of shimmer.

All of the shadows, besides “WWBD” is their newer semi loose formula. It just means it isn’t as powdery. I finds it works best wet.

The Mystic Matte is in the shade EL. It is a stunning. It is a rosy nude with a lot of irredesents in it. Almost like a Changling top coat is mixes in. I can not stop wearing it!

  • I put “right here” all over my lid
  • “Wwbd” in my crease
  • And deepened everything up, including my Lower lash line, with “friends don’t lie”

“El” is on my lips.

I love this collection😍 if you can get your hands on it. Do it, do it now!

Sorry for the long break in posting, I have a busy life. I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!
